Sounds about right to me.
We would have to be very low on the universal scale.

You assume they speak a language that's somewhat compatible with ours. Besides the words for human in the earth languages (human, humano, humain, Mensch, etc.) they could speak in a series of clicks and whistles that we would have no way of interpreting.

I don't think you'd like Human 2.0 very much

Being cybermen wouldn't be much fun

I think it depends on the circumstances.
If a powerful alien race wanted some resource from the solar system & we agreed: we'd be called whatever we wanted. Terrans sounds ok from the point of view of the west, with our science using so much latin. I wonder if 1/4 of humans with one of the oldest civilisations might not prefer rén zhōu.
If we resisted we'd be called insurgents &/or terrorists.
If we had to fight in any actual war, as others have intimated, we'd be called THE LOSERS!

Why is this subject being talked about?

The fact your discussing this is worrying, there won't be a galactic war between this planet and any other as long as we don't follow our nature of yes that's right...

PEW PEW BOOM!

everything in our path, i was reading about Trogdolytes living on Eucelaedes(however you spell) and that a scientits hopes us humans never go there because we would annihilate the species there

But yet again that's optimistic thinking, and not taking in account the fact that they may just want us gone and don't care about our planet, they could easily just blow up our planet/send an asteroid our way/blow up the moon just as easily, effectively killing us in the process.

Not happening.
This blue tinted speck of dust is valuable in resources. So extermination is more probable.

Absolutely applaudable.

How sad, but true...

Anyone want to volunteer their person for Operation Highground?

The weapons have already been stockpiled.

I'm listening, go on.

In the mean time between coincidences, you all have some catching up to do.
I highly suggest everyone start here---> Planetary Defense

And then....?

No and then, if you read the thread, we can see these coincide enought o warrent this tactless interjection.

What would we be called, in an inter-galactic federation?

Probably being based on a uniting factor, it would be influenced by the now, like the five leaves on the tree of life.

Cultural and spiritual indentifiers would play heavily because of the history our progenitors left us. That tradition would of course fade like the rest. So it leave us with one simple and comprehensive concept to translate via empath or through action and sound.

Will it be war?

History shows a very good chance it might. We are unbalanced and have yet grow mature as a species. Which thankfully has graced us, we are still here right.

Three strange things in the world:
loving war more than peace,
loving excess more than sufficiency,
and loving falsehood more than truth.

That's a very Interesting Question

I find very fitting of our probable representation in such a conflict.

Why does NOBODY ON HERE realize that aliens are fallen angels that lost their form (except Nordics) when they rebelled and they always gave humanity advanced technology? They live among the stars and in our atmosphere and moon and such, but they are not life-forms like humans. They are fallen angels and manufactured Nephilim. Yeshua said: As in the days of Noah.

Meaning yes there will be a landing and Maitreya will be there with them to make peace under a global government.

Think about it. Global government. ET Lands. Maitreya is accepted as Savior even though he is the Anti-Christ, and then later on you'll be like: "WHOA that guy on ATS was completely right!"

Let's see... well, given the alien languages would need to be translated... I believe the closest translation to our language would be the following:

* Civilians
* Non-Combatants

Those are the only two possibilities of describing us in an intergalactic war. We simply can't compete.

How about the Elders.

Maybe their observing us for our technology.

I'm really not trying to look like a fool here on ATS. Every bit of information I'm sharing with you is so you know what to expect when the Tribulation begins or heck even the period before it even begins. It's all information and it's all there for you to see. I'm only trying to help. There is NO such thing as a good alien race.

President LDOIFERsdfafdk: "whats that blip on the radar screen?"

Commander Klingon :" oh its nothing, just a planet called with some germs on it, we will go right through it, we will send in the civilians to do the work. No need to use the military"

President: "designate the planet, Rest Stop"
