The 2 represents the 2 blows that knocked me out of this game: the publication of my home address and the hacking of my personal url.

"it" being the connection between JW and jb12.

Notice 'legitimacy' is in quotes. What I was saying was that the connection confirms that the jb12 site is as legitimate as the original slideshows.

Also notice that I said "If anything", which can almost always be translated to "I don't necessarily agree with the following, but it may be the case that...".

We all know what assuming does

The timers kept going down because godaddy can't handle _javascript coupled with thousands of page views and the Shakespeare quotes were leading to a final puzzle which will now not be published.

I agree completely. The Telegraph's website said "The events depicted in this slideshow are entirely fictional" the ENTIRE time.

It did - it said "Find the buried treasure" and was encoded through four different barcode formats
