It doesn't matter if people are sick and tired of violence. Violence is bred into people via their environments most of the time, so who's to blame?

The typical person who commits a crime is poverty stricken and raised in bad neighborhoods. It's not the peoples' fault. It's the people monopolizing everything that are causing this violence you speak of.

Overpopulation has nothing to do with violence, and respecting peoples' individual spaces. Everyone has the right to live, and NO ONE has the right to reduce the population just because they want to have their "space".

This mindset IS brainwashing that has been done throughout peoples' lives via the few controlling everything.

You are limiting your mind, and are believing a fake facade of scarcity type society.

Don't worry about the next hundred years. Worry about the psychopaths who want to reduce the population because there's "Over Population".

Geniuses are born every minute, and you can't look at the future from a mindset of how things are now. That's primitive thinking.

I'm pretty sure 500 years ago people never thought planes will EVER be developed.

And why do you think more people will equal lower standard of living? It's only that way because it's MADE to be that way.

This is one big thing people keep forgetting.

STOP limiting yourselves, and think bigger. Ever since you are born, you are bombarded with lies to make you have a scarcity mindset.

Think outside of the box. It's not a long walk to get outside of the box. Trust me.

Yes, I understand what you are saying and agree with you in that people are limiting themselves.

People are worshiping money as if it's their ruler. What they don't realize is that money doesn't even exist!

A piece of paper with 100 dollars written on it will make a man do some crazy things. It's truly upsetting.

Our use of energy and resources makes us well over populated. We need to consider ways to determine a good level of population and work towards it - we can't keep growing on a finite planet.

Huxley said that 150 years ago. And he tried to accomplish it. How? By trying to eliminate "80% of the genetically inferior population", who are "unabled to be educated".

That what you support? Eugenics?

And that's why I generally disregard eugenics and population reduction. People said it 150 years ago, and they failed to take into account that human technology will increase geometrically as does population.

To all who are trying to debunk this thread - the British empire believed the same thing - with the same arguements, over a hundred years ago. They attemped to accomplished this by genocide, empires, and encouraging “the operations of nature” - infant mortality, poor hygiene, and plague amongst the poor to keep the population at a desired
level - Malthus. Give me a freaken break.

Reminds me a hysterical doomsday cult, that keeps pushing back the date since they're always wrong.
Only this time, nobody is laughing at them.

I don't understand why you keep saying "this thread is debunked."

I'm not trying to make you believe an invisible demon is coming out of your computer to eat you or something.

I'm stating facts that the world has agendas to destroy everyone, so that people can be controlled easier. They use methods such as "over population" to get the support of many people, so that they can fulfill their agendas while in the mean time they have houses with 30 bedrooms, 20 plasma TV's, $500k cars, etc.

Start facing the truth, and you will see what I'm saying.

If the planet gets too overly populated (30 billion plus people let's say for example..) then scientists and geniuses will figure out alternative solutions such as space travel to colonize other planets.

It's really not that hard to understand.

The real threat is the individual human being. Theres TOO many people out there who don't care if the world will be here for their ancestors or not. "Overpopulation" is a word that's really open to interpretation.

We live in a world where ANYTHING is possible. However, a group of greedy psychos control and monopolize and "patent" certain things and products, so that the world would be under their power. Look at Monsanto. They are trying to have all foods genetically modified, patent seeds, and get rid of organic products. Why? So that they can control the food supply, and decide who eats and who doesn't.

Whoever controls the food, controls the people.

You so badly lost me there……..omg!

Ok, “so that the world would be under their power” no, no and guess what….no. Just because they may have patents on genetically altered food doesn’t mean they are trying to control the world, that’s just stupid. What a funny thought. Yes, lets control the world by holding food ransom LOL.

“get rid of organic products.” They’re not trying to get rid of organic products that’s utterly ridicules. Can I just ask how old you are? 10, 12???? These genetic foods are simply offered as another choice of something to eat. Is that so hard to understand.

Companies that produce these genetically altered foods are an example of technological advances that are inevitably going to happen. I mean you even said yourself how we can do anything now with technology, how “we are only at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to technology” And yet you’re saying technological progress is a bad thing when it comes to food. Why? You need to make a more stronger reasoning case…you’re not making any sense.

Yes, and it IS imaginary money because OVER 95% of the world's money is digital. In other words it's an illusion and it's fake”

WTH……You’re not making any sense. Ok let me explain something, if I put $100 into a bank and then on my bank card I know have $100 on it, I can now use that bank card in stores to buy things. That money is still money. Also, let’s say I buy $40 worth of stuff at a store, I can also withdraw the $60 I had left from my back account right there at the store. Money is still money.

The bank decides who's going to have $50 million dollars and who gets hit with a 25% interest, and guess what? Whoever controls the banks also controls the money.

You’re so disillusioned. The government controls the money flow. The bank holds it, that’s all. That’s how it works.

.

And by the way, did you know 1% of the world's population controls 80% of the world's wealth? Talk about control. .

I’m not sure how true that 1% figure is, but, obviously that’s how it works. How do you think people become rich? They own businesses and they expand and buy other businesses. Eventually they’re going to be a few extremely wealthy people in the world compared to the rest of us because that’s simply logical
If you have 10 people and they all make different careers for them selves eventually there are going to be thoughs that become more successful and become richer then others…

But according to you no one can become rich without having some evil take over the world scheme. WTH MAN??????

I could keep going but I’m sure I’ve explained enough. PLEASE HAVE SOME SANITY PEOPLE!!!!!

You are being greedy and selfish when you say that you don't want to live in a 3rd world country type of environment. First off, no one said you had to live in a 3rd world country type of place. Second, it's that attitude of greed that causes problems.

Take a look at the few who have monopolized the industries and the world. They want to be the ONLY ones with access to immortality, infinite amounts of food, advanced technology, etc.

Would you volunteer to die, so the population can be reduced to "help" everyone else? You would if you believed what you are saying so much.

Very well said my friend.

People are beginning to actually think "population reduction" is a good idea for us in order to live better lives and have a higher standard of living.

Little do they know that once population reduction has happened, and the world only has 250 million people living on it, then the few at the top decide to release their hidden technology which just so happens to be Terminator type robots used to police the remaining population.

It's funny how people actually think the few at the top care about the general population.

They don't give a damn about any of you, and you are supporting them. Sick.

Excellent post!! I agree completely with your assessment of the population non-problem.
It is my contention the middle class is our problem. They have become suck-ups & wantabes.
They have bought into the lies of the super wealthy. These are the bright educated middle class that should be adding their DNA to the gene pool. Instead they rush to make themselves sterile to please their Gods money & power. They run to and fro blaming themselves and there fellow man for invented evils like overpopulation & the dreaded carbon foot print. Yes these that could help humanity rise to a better life are instead working tirelessly for those they consider their betters. These wantabes that hope to be invited to sit at the table with their wealthy elite idols fail to see that they will never be worthy.
Our politicians sell their soul for money. Our police care not for justice. Our teachers indoctrinate. Lawmakers are beside themselves trying to think of new laws when they should be removing laws that shackle our people.
So I say the middle class is shrinking because they have chosen to sacrifice themselves to the gluttons they worship. nuf said.

Three places in your argument which you're completely wrong in, and trust me there were many, but I'm only picking 3.

1)Money is digital and it is fake. Go look at how the bank works, and you'll understand that the people who OWN the banks MAKE the rules, and they can give themselves billions of dollars in bonuses.

2)In the United States foods that are genetically modified don't need to have labels, so you have NO choice on what you put in your mouth. It's food experiments to test on the people because they are their guinea pigs. Go research Codex Alimentarius and the real agenda behind Monsanto.

3)And you are SO wrong in the part where you say: "The government controls the money flow." I suggest you research Rothschild family, Rockefeller family, and the Federal Reserve as a start.

The government DOES NOT control the money flow. It's a handful of men. Yes, a handful of individuals, and this is not a conspiracy either. It's everywhere you just have to do your research which you clearly have not done.

The only people who really deserve to be wiped out are the mad men in power. I would have said 'in control' but look at the world and tell me it's under control.

It is sick how popular the idea has become, and I applaud everyone in this thread who is trying to wake people up to the truth. We may yet avert the murder of billions.

Russian Revolution 1917. Mad men in control wiped out. Within 2 decades 12 million dead. African states become independent from colonial rule. Tens of millions die. Iran frees itself form oppression by the Shah with an Islamic Revolution. A war on neighbouring Iraq and a million dead.

Check out the recent history of Zimbabwe some time. Under British rule a prosperous nation producing abundant food feeding a continent. Under current liberator Mugabe and his freedom fighting cronies, agriculture almost dead, millions starving.

Much the same pattern elsewhere throughout the 20th Century where the incumbent madmen are replaced by liberators who seize the reins of power and proceed to go mad.

Revolution isn't pretty. But an effective form of population control.

Overpopulation most certainly is a problem. Just look at countries like China and India and tell me we don't have a population problem. Overpopulation isn't some scare tactic by a secret organization plotting to take over the world. It's a real thing that's happening right now. Why? Too many people crowded into too much space and lack of resources. Just look at the evidence, particularly that graph that shows population growth. The numbers don't lie. The Earth's population has exploded within the past couple thousand years, and it's not stopping.

Just one thing you have to remember mate... sure, we might be able to survive awhile longer with larger populations, but would we be able to really live? ...as in enjoy life?

Already I feel I'm being severely restricted in that regard due to the ever growing demand that our society requires. I'd hate to imagine what it would be like if our population were to double. Would I even want to live at that point?

That's not to speak of the havoc that would ensue on the already increasingly threatened wildlife.

You have to keep in mind of the bigger picture, sure -- but more importantly you have to keep in mind of smaller things in life that you take for granted.

1894 figures for Zimbabwe estimate that to every white man, there were 17,000 natives. By 1961, that ratio had changed to 1 white to 13 natives. There is no other word for this but genocide. The British sought scientific legitimacy for their genocide, and named it eugenics.

Source - My sig.

My solution to overpopulation? Technological, and political progress. And by that I mean no more Al Gore.

Without providing hard number and qualifications these stats are somewhat meaningless.

What was the population in numbers? What were the increases? How many whites immigrated into the region? How many blacks immigrated? What were the birth/death rates? etc.

It's a matter of census documentation that the once sparsely populated tip of Africa including South Africa and the former Rhodesia changed radically through the 20th Century. There were massive influxes of European whites as well as native Africans to the region as farming brought prosperity and created a vastly higher standard of living.

Fact indisputable today. 29 years of black rule under Robert Mugabe. 30 years ago the country was prosperous and exporting food throughout the continent. Today, with Mugabe still head of state, the agricultural infrastructure nearly destroyed, currency inflation in the billions percent, mass starvation.

It's easy to come up with numbers from past history. Question today is who is killing who.

If you can't enjoy life because there's other people alive around you, then somethings wrong with you.

If you want a peaceful and quiet place where you won't be bothered, then move to the mountains or the jungle. I'm pretty sure there's places that would not be populated heavily.

Look at New York, the whole state isn't populated, and it's just NYC and a few other surrounding areas, so you could move to another part of the state for example.
