Strange daytime footage taken in British Columbia [video]

that fact that you can hear others in the distant back ground hooping and hollering does give the vid more credence .
It could be just a balloon filled with helium caught in a strong updraft or wind current. Wind conditions can vary from ground level to slightly higher altitudes, keep mind how much of an effect water can have on the air temperature and air currents.
Or it's an alien space craft cloaked as a turtle balloon .

A quick Google search didn't turn up anything regarding MAV's and satellite connections. I think they are mainly nevigated with a remote control.

It does appear to be a balloon. Though i dont see many signs of wind or direction..

Im a firm believer in UFO's...in fact asking me if i believe in UFO's and Aliens is like asking me if i think oxygen exists however after all this talk of turtles and all this talk of balloons I am having to post this just because of the remarkable likeness. Sorry if I am bursting anyones buble.

Did anyone watch those other videos from Fritz Stammberger? I don't know what to make of the guy, but maybe you should check them out.

I'm not blind to the resemblance, but try to turn the turtle in such a way that you can get this shape:



It is impossible. No angle can do that.

I freakin' love this video. I didn't see the turtle until I watched it in hi-def full screen after thinking about it all day. The thing is I am not really sure that I do see a turtle. It could be an inflatable sea turtle but what would THAT be doing there.

This video made me think of other weird ufos.

Debunked is in the eye of the beholder. These things remain as UFOs to me until I am convinced they can be identified.

well watch out and soon the other pieces will be revealed..

to equate this with aliens / ufo's is ludicrious.. interesting find though, and I would have been as excited as these guys filming it too if it was me.

It is your opinion that others not being able to definitively identify the object are being ludicrous. Strange marketing experiment to release a balloon over this area as it is not very populated but since it was filmed in June of 2008 I am sure anyday now more will show up.

Reminds me of this video from a year ago. Very smooth flight. This one looked like a witch on a broomstick.

I finally got my computer back and I sharpened up the image.

There was no colour correction done whatsoever

Took a few viewings (with the sound down!), but yeah...upended over-inflated turtle. I didn't notice any members referencing 'Indakaz Productions.' Seems they are a production company that 'might just' be planning a video of a flying angel. At the beginning of the video, I had the impression that they were expecting the 'UFO.' Who's to say several attempts weren't made before they captured the right footage?

I don't post much but because I live so close to this area I thought it would be relevant to say that I put the video's youtube address on craigslist rants and raves in Victoria to see if anything else would come up. I would think that this was an ultralight though don't know if there's any that are jet powered...

This is definately one of the better ufo vids Ive seen. The reactions are genuine, even if they had been smoking and drinking. I have seen somewhere a video of the guys giving an analysis of the event.

I already think the 'turtle' vid is a set up. I think they are planning a base jump dressed as an angel. What odds on a YT vid called "Strange flying creature footage from BC?" The sound track will include stoner classics like "Dude, WTF?!" and "Whoah, f***! What is that sh?t?!" I'd love to see it and I'll be keeping quiet if it's a good hoax
