As I said earlier....I'd put money on it that the BBC and the History channel stories are one and the same thing!

Hi, long time Seeker of Truth, first time poster...

So on May 26th, kids will ask where we came from and we will show them a picture of a Lemur? Groundbreaking discovery to me is a live broadcast of a modern alien city on Mars. If this is a fossil discovery of anything but a skeleton of a 'Grey' then I am not interested. Ark of the Covenant, Interview with Bigfoot, a current alien city on Mars, this is stuff that I want to see.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense. You would think History would put the show on closer to this unvailing as the media would already have started covering it. I still hope it is something other then this, and this whole fossil issue is being released around the same time to cover what is really going to happen. At least its not that long to wait and see.

I just noticed this very commercial on my DVR, glad to see its already been posted on. I'm usually very skeptical... but damn, if this isn't the most genius marketing ploy!

Angels and Demons is released today,(15/05/09)
BBC 24 and Newsnight have gone to great pains to pan it today,
with at least one critic making the same joke about it.
Not too sure of the plot, but has something to do with a Vatican vault,
the Illuminati and an artifact contained in the vault.
So a film is the subject of both BBC24 and Newsnight
on the same day,now that is fairly strange,origin of the film
is a Dan Brown book.
Just to add in edit,biggest critic of the film is Mark Kermode.

After looking at their schedule, there doesn't really seem to be any hints like a running theme.. but there is a huge chunk of programming missing during most of the day, I bet that whatever they fill it with will be related to whatever this huge reveal is.

Whatever they are showing is supposed to be a documentary after the press conference, right? If it really is earth-shattering stuff, you're going to see the press conference everywhere. Maybe Obama and other world leaders are already scheduled to be there.

How come all the guesses have been so few? Aliens? Evolution? Where is your creativity ATS?? What if it's time travel and someone went back to all those dates and took pictures!

I know I read the entire posts from top to bottom 18 pages long.

let me get this straight we have:

History Channel Commerical stating the biggest event in Human even World History

Threat by UFO peeps about disclosure or else by May 31st 2009

Unknow blank time slot from 9-11 on History Channel

a book release of Unknown Name and Unknown Author about this event

There is an Embargo on all this matter like its Top Secret

It either being Alien forms of Life or a Link in the human evolution chain? Or Nothing like all of the time

Im a big fan of Aliens, UFOs and Outerspace...always wanted to see, visit atleast once before im gone.

My question is when is the Press Conference?

Will it make MSM?

If its rattling the world after its release does the government have plans and information we need to know or is this against government approval?

I hope its Aliens honestly...but I can only wish maybe the Alien/Human evolutionary chain, we are part them.

One thing I found interesting in the audio of the commercial in question was the last line. "A date that will go down in infamy..." was a recording of FDRs' famous speech.
A date that will go down in infamy doesn't fit with the theories I've seen for the nature of the premier.

Perhaps its a show about the self feeding snow ball called hype.

Did anyone notice the video on history channel, looks like Universe like stars and nebula in the background!!!!

Hi everyone.
I have been visiting and watching and finally I signed up.
It was this thread that made my mind up to sign up.
Mainly due to people overlooking the obvious that made me a little angry.

1. This is an event advertised in America on one channel.
2. History channel, emphasis on History.
3. 44 million years ago isnt mentioned in the video.
4. It 'changes everything' so its against popular understanding.
5. So important it only takes up 2 hours on one channel.

Somebody mentioned Mammoths earlier, thats not a bad guess because as we know scientists said they are close to cloning a mammoth and that was a few years ago.
Its history, its bizarre and against popular belief of what we know, its worth 2 hours and its quite world changing too, cloning sheep was weird, bringing an extinct animal back is even weirder so it would be quite global in impact.
It must be American scientists which explains the rights to be first with the news and History channel seems quite fitting.

The missing link isnt really big news anymore, I think if there was an accurate missing series of links that show the evolution then I doubt most of us care and would consider it a bit silly to count years of research and finds into one date when noone will ever say "remember on 25th May" its just a gradual find of many many evolutions.

Disclosure, I wouldnt get too excited, what they disclose isnt always the full picture, Britain is supposed to be a ufo disclosed place, it really isnt, its very dull scraps of info about accounts that dont have a conclusion, hoax, aircraft or other natural phenomenon or just lack of evidence cases closed.

Maybe the whole Roswell thing, desert and space in the video.

Mars civilisation, hmm, maybe some light proof of remains of structures or something that of course is exciting but when they tag it "but no signs of anything for possibly thousands of years" we will all feel a little bit still in the dark, so it would be a disclosure to a degree, but a bit 'yeh okay, what now'.

Anyways I have rambled on enough, I appologize for that, just wanted to get that off my chest.
Great site, I find it fun, informative, deals with serious issues in an open minded and free speech way and still manages to offer enough variation to keep me hooked on some topic or other.

also anyone notice the background? the dry desert..it looks like something to do with fossils when i look at it

thats epic fail if it is who cares what a fossil was millions of years ago i'd rather focus on advanced civilisations and the present!

Ok maybe BBC and History Channel are actually covering the same thing.

The press conference could be shown everywhere. But the History Channel was the highest bidder for the first show about the thing. The BBC may also have their own show about it later.

The embargo may have been put in place after some info leaked like the discovery itself or the book. Since its out there already it cannot be retracted. I hope this is not the case but.....it could be.

Another possibility could be that there was more than one discovery made at the place they found the "link". BBC has the link and HC has the other thing.

Yet another thing could be that.....

Acheologists have discovered the origin of man in South America and not Africa as we currently believe. This would change what we know and also have an interesting effect on the Biblical side. Would also be a reason to play the Mayan 2012 show prior to this big mystery.

However, I still like the Dino / primate missing link. An evil monkey with reptillian wings. wizard of oz anyone?

I also find it interesting that 2 of the dates flashing on the screen are

0 AD
and
one million years BC (what happened on this date?)

Yea maybe its a hint........

Im not gonna go off on a crazy binge but that can bring up all sorts of material now 2012 and Planet X that would be life and planet changing, but I dont wanna get into that. There is a thread all its own dedicated to that but who knows.

I really just hope its Aliens in general, I really wanna see that. Evo link by anothr primate of old. I will be interested but not changing for me we know this already if your not a god feared person.

it sounds promising but it probs isnt.. now if the press conference is on the MSM and Barack Obama and/or Gordon Brown stand side by side then you know what it's gonna be and we have won the battle for Disclosure

In the OP TV commercial no, but it is claimed "biggest find since" originally 44mya and now changed to 47mya in the history.com video for the same premier.

Not only that but the effect is almost like the old Star Trek warp drive effect. Something traveling through space? Anyways I still think its a fossil find.

Fossil find they should of put dirt in the background
I mean honestly how important is a fossil find inless the thing is a Giant Human or Alien Skeleton or maybe they found all the Mayan bodies

Aliens is what im aiming for but it will probably be another ancient human or ape

Maybe they didnt like people getting close to the answer.

I edited my post to add Roswell.
History, world changing, space and desert, it is an incredible 'find' and fits in with the press for disclosure.
I just have a horrible feeling it will leave more questions than answers and we are distracted with more years of speculation.
Seems all a bit cryptic to me.
I arent having much luck finding any reference to BBC btw, anyone got any links?
The lack of TV guide for 25th is because TV guides are done 1 week in advance and 25th is a Monday and the week after next.
