When you shed the cloak of ignorance, others become mirrors of the self.

I used to wear the same attire, my friend - but now the cloak of ignorance and the shoes of self-deception adorn you.... separating you from the world. To take off the cloak is a choice, but the shoes will wear off with more steps.

You keep speaking of our ego. What about your ego that has you head swollen so far above everyone else’s that you can’t even fathom that your enlightenment isn’t all to enlightened. Your EGO is denying you the chance to process what we are saying. Your Society is just as full of it as anyone else claiming to have achieved complete enlightenment and refuse to attempt to learn anything further.

You have your views and you really believe that they are the truth. Well, to you they are the truth. I am not one to say that I know the truth and here it is. That is, if I may use your words IGNORANT no one knows the ultimate truth. Personally if I did know the ultimate truth
I wouldn’t be so condescending to the lower mind state as one would assume that what ever was being said by the ENLIGHTENED would be a crock because they are so full of themselves.

I agree that the ego is not the person, but the next line has me confused.

I believe that the ego does control the person (mostly) and it appears that is what you are saying but the "not not" has me a bit confused.

Could you please clarify what you are saying??

I think what he is saying if you are a slave to your ego then it controls you. But if you are in control of your ego then your thoughts are clear. I could be wrong.

This is my understanding as well.

It's just the first time I read the post I didn't see the "not not" just "not"
and as such the meaning was completely different.

It wasn't until I went to reply that I noticed the difference.

The Society? Dear me, don't you know you're in grave danger? Whenever there is a mass there is a prominent flaw; which in this case (as it is in most others) is Ignorance.

Ignorance abounds within the human condition, and is detected quite often when other sharers of this state of Existence are encountered. It sounds as though you've entered the quagmire.

The best thing for you to do is avoid society, and go far off into what has been dubbed the 'wild' - how ironic, yes? I think you'll find that in a self-imposed isolation, your head will begin to clear, and from then on you have merely to count the days before your Resurrection to the world of simple truths and truthful searching is at hand.

Wow really two people can agree on something outside of the society and it is completely wrong. Well of course because outside of the society no one is correct. I find it hilarious if someone speaks the way you have been speaking throughout this thread you can not understand what they are saying. You do realize the more you say the weaker you are becoming.

Cannot see where your ego is not a part of this. If you were truly enlightened than you should be much more humble in the way you are trying to spread the truth. But alas I will just sit here and wallow in my pit of ignorance , anyone care to join me.
