Texas Doctor Claims Swine Flu Cases Far Worse Than Reported, Level 6 Pandemic In Effect
www.prisonplanet.com...
Up to 25 times more victims than official figure, hospitals overwhelmed, virus already at level 6 pandemic phase
Thursday, April 30, 2009

A doctor in Texas claims that swine flu cases are at least ten times worse than officials are letting on, and that hospitals are becoming overwhelmed as the virus has already crossed the threshold to be considered a phase 6 global pandemic.

Dr. Marcus Gitterle, an emergency medicine physician based out of New Braunfels, Texas, sent out an internal alert which contains several stunning claims about swine flu that, if true, officials have presumably sought to keep from the public.

“After I returned from a public health meeting yesterday with community leaders and school officials in Comal County and Hays County, (name removed) suggested I send an update to my patients in the area, because what we are hearing privately from the CDC and Health Department is different from what you are hearing in the media,” writes Gitterle.

The doctor claims that the actual number of confirmed cases of swine flu is 10 to 25 times worse than has been reported, and that people are not recovering easily, as has been claimed, but that many Americans are in fact seriously ill.

Going through the transcripts of the live chat on the Chronicle, I found this little gem.

12:32 [Comment From Galka]
We keep hearing that a regular annual "generic" flu kills about 40K people in the US. Even in Mexico where it's supposedly started, the number of *infections" is nowhere near that. Why is it considered a brink of a pandemic then?

Dr. Pedro Piedra: Galka:
You're correct that seasonal influenza causes a significant impact on our community. The swine influenza, if it turns into a pandemic, will have a significantly greater impact than seasonal influenza.

I guess the key here is IF it turns into a pandemic. There are alot of people on here just being stupid, but there is also some good information if you want to check the transcript.

I actually expected Texas to have much higher numbers when all this began. As I've said before, I believe we all come in contact with recent travellers to Mexico on a regular basis. For instance, my husband works at a lab that test construction materials in Houston. He has already spoken to at least 5 people that have recently (within the last month) been to Mexico, since this broke.

I hope that things aren't as serious as the Doctor's alert says, but I am starting to believe they may be.

Awwww man....they left out hybridization of flu virus by Reptilians/NWO for population reduction (as predicted by the Mayans)....

Sorry...couldn't resist. Seriously though, until they come up with something concrete, we will continue to question the origins.

understandable...they were asking for it!

www.foxnews.com...

WASHINGTON -- A member of the U.S. delegation that helped prepare Energy Secretary Steven Chu's trip to Mexico City has demonstrated flu-like symptoms and his family members have tested probable for swine flu.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Thursday that three members of an aide's family are being tested to see if they have the same strain of swine flu that is threatening to become a pandemic. The aide worked in presidential advance, which is responsible for planning and preparing trips.

Gibbs said that Secretary Chu has not experienced any symptoms. The spokesman also said that President Barack Obama also has had no symptoms of the virus and doctors see no need to conduct any tests on his health.

That's a good point. I was thinking though, what about those of us that are lucky enough to live in a constitutional free zone
are we subject to federal law since we are denied our constitutional rights, or are we only subject to state laws ?

Sometimes I have to remind myself the news broke about this flu less than a week ago. I think numbers will start going up, I don't want to see that happen of course, but with our idiotic govt. not closing borders or flights it is bound to increase.

Oh man....I had forgotten about that! I don't know what would hold true for us. But I guess that since we were already denied rights anyway, so this shouldn't be any different in their eyes.

Swine Flu in Mexico from U.S. Ex-Pat’s Perspective
goldenwriting.com...

A bit of truth from the local scene down here: Evidently, the way this whole swine flu thing started was a small epidemic in a village called La Gloria near Jalapa, Veracruz. (Jalapa, as in where the jalapeno peppers originated). A U.S.-owned multi-national company, Sheffield Foods, has an enormous pig farm there. 450 villagers got sick after complaining for some time about the contamination of the local water by the pig farm. They were diagnosed with “acute respiratory infections.” During the outbreak, Sheffield treated the locals with anti-flu vaccines but never reported it. Three infants/toddlers died. Turns out that a substantial number of the villagers work during the week in Mexico City and return home for the weekends. It wasn’t until the flu spread to Mexico City that it hit the fan, and the rest is history. The Jalapa outbreak was over a month ago, in late February, and the entire epidemic most likely could have been prevented if Sheffield had notified the World Health Organization at that time. Let’s see what happens next.

I hope your son is feeling better, and flu free.

Maybe you should contact the CDC and inform them of what you were told by the doctor, see what they tell you. It may be that it was a personal call on his part, he may just feel that people are becoming paranoid.

Now that human to human transmission is an issue, this doesn't represent any ongoing threat. However, it does show which places should have been more likely to be heavily infected at the beginning of all of this. Some of the top destinations correlate with the top reported illness numbers, but not all. It sure looks like there should be many more confirmed infections than we are being told, even if only a small percentage of passengers were infected.
