Rush Limbaugh, it unfortunately shows that the 'dittoheads' certainly have earned that moniker.

Not to imply that a 'respected' ATS member would cut and paste, without reading or taking care to see what is posted....Oh, NO!!! I'd NEVER imply such a thing!!!!

Well, despite the various "quotes" (which, as obviously pointed out, show the idiocy of 'RL') this thread continues.

WHY!?! is this?

A simple scroll up will answer that query.

More simple expanation?? Rush = Old Tragic Ideas.

Sorry, but this is truth. HE, Mr. DittoHead, is old news....tragically out of touch, and just to try to keep his 'dittoheads' in line....he is a pathetic figure. Slowly losing control, and getting ever desperate in his death throes...sad to watch, but purely evident to those with a brain, to see and comprehend.

Um, in the english language those names are synonymous with success
and true genius. Once in while it actually appears on these threads,
believe it or not! Now if the word stupid was used or idiot, instead of
a simple thank you for your opinion, then I could see a mod removal.
(these type threads are prolific with this playground talk btw)
Its a wake up call for all of us, to grow up, respect others and just try to be nice.
We can always just go listen to rush.
The country can not afford any more division. Not now, not ever.
Lets just try to enjoy whats left of it while we still can! IMO

We both seem to have degenerated into our own ping-pong insult match. Enjoyable to say the least. In my own defense I have strived to re-direct back On Topic by restating thread title and offering my opinion. (As there seems to be no factual response possible.) Or at least a link when possible.

Because he is a Master of Manipulation. He prays on the narrow minded by giving them
his own flavor of "hope" despite the fact that their own party is fading and becoming less relevant. He cuddles the last generation of conservatives while masking their own demise. No longer appealing as a propaganda prostitute, his sagging jowls and expanding belly will soon relegate him to be content as the grand madam of the bigotry brothel.

obviously you are unaware that all live events are on a 3-5 second delay with someone who sets at a desk with their hand on the "kill feed" button so that no more janet jackson events can happen...

Do you listen to many call-in shows? Because you'd realize that the picture you are trying to paint RL in is very typical of call-in shows everywhere. *NO* host allows incessant rambling. *ALL* shows do screening; the more successful the show, the more callers trying to call in, and the higher the need for rigid screening.

RL screens, but he doesn't screen to dissuade liberals from calling in. Look at it this way: If he had 10 callers on hold, and 9 of them had the same POV, the chances of the 1 in 10 getting in are much higher.

If you want an example of a poor host that does not tolerate opposing viewpoints, listen to Alan Colmes sometime. He sounds like an angry chihuahua, snapping terse one line comments at everyone. And his show's (lack of) success shows it.

Well friends why do I listen to Rush?

Well let me just say that I have sat in a major university under hard core new left professors. This gave me a clear view from their own lectures as to what their opinions and ideas are all about. I have seen much of what they said play out. No need for detail.

Anyway this real world first hand experience gives me much to weigh Rush against and he weighs out very well.

Like him or not anyone knowing the issues and the forces shaping them would not write him with some of the simple descriptions found here. In fact I can only believe that hard core Rush opponents simply cant stand any opposition to their political and social philosophies. Demonizing guys like Rush is something they must do becouse he stands in their way to Utopia. Any influence on the American people that impedes the progress toward the aims of the Utopians must be attacked.

Mike Savage calls Rush a "republican waterboy" but this can be expected for someone as independent as Mike. The same people dont like Mike becouse he is independent that dont like Rush becouse he supports the republican party as an apparatus to defend conservationism.

Because he instigates and foments their bigotry and brings it to the
surface where it is gleefully accepted as the norm and even reveled in.
Since they lost big time and couldnt fix this election, they are all out of ideas and quickly becoming the party of irrelevancy/redundancy, it's probably all they have left now.

I was trying to be friendly and give some help to others by letting
them know all this partisan bs really doesnt matter in the long run.
What matters is loving others around you, taking care of them and appreciating and enjoying the life we have left. Everyone dies sooner or later. Get it yet? We only have a few decades of life anyway, spend it being a dittohead if you'd like. Just dont think everyone will be.

You are well beyond condescension my friend, that much is clear. An extremely controlling personality for sure. I can see why you hate Rush so much.

This entire thread on Rush is nothing but a trap to draw his supporters in for a cyber abusing. I am proud to be docked 1000 points and to be falsely maligned in his defense.

I don't know what other people are doing on this thread but I set it up and I did not set it up as a trap to malign mush loosebowels supporters... I am guininely curious what people see in this fat drug addled blowhard.

Do you control your self or do you rely on buffers such as rush to let out your aggression slowly so as not to "wig out" someday?

Clever but again insulting. You speak of divisiveness but strike me as someone that is divisive. Are you probably fanatically loyal to your own ideas. Controlling types usually are. Lack of control is your Q to slip into your condensation mode, a passive aggressive tactic.

Yes I do let Rush blow off some steam for me from time to time. However you may not notice that the entire spirit in this thread causes hackles to raise on both sides. Your way of dealing with it is just a another among many ways but certainly no less vulgar when translated into its intention to humiliate. Hope that helps you in some small way.
