I went to my photo albums, used the right-click menu to "Copy Image Location", and then pasted it here between [ats] tags.

Is anyone else having "friend" issues.
I dont mean in real life, or even here

I meant, for example, when I add a friend, they are not showing up on my profile? Even though they accepted my friend request (sounds like high school), they are not there. I have 28 friends (awwww), yet only 12 are showing on my profile

I know of one other person having this issue too.

Well, I have 9 but 10 appear on my friends list, nephratari appears twice for some reason.

I suppose 12 is the maximum that the Portal shows, did you tried to click the "View All Friends" link at the bottom?

I did, and I can see all my friends, but they are not showing up on the profile. I looked at someone else's profile and they have 16. Maybe the friendship has to be mutual in order to show up? Hmmmm.

Oh well. Not a biggie.

Click on 'Edit top friends' and it lets you increase the number shown on your profile page as well as reorganize them.

Hi,

I have a question about the photo upload section, when I upload avatars (which arent big files) they always get reduced in file size, am I doing something wrong?

Im linking the images from my media profile to an avatar thread on BTS but someone (thanks roswell ) has already pointed out the image quality is not that great / high.

This was never a problem on the old upload system, is there anything I can do to correct this?

I have a question on how to upload pictures to a group without uploading them as media.

When I first uploaded my picture via media I was able to the "add to group" to move the picture to a group. But I was told today not to upload pictures using the media upload but to create a gallery for my pictures. This all worked out great till I tried to add my pictures back to my group, no can do any more.

So how do I move pictures to group?

I have a couple of problems with the new banner etc.
sometimes when I am on ATS... the banner at the top
appears as this with no pictures/links...



Also I have noticed that when you click on any of the images(when they show)... should it not open in a new window??? instead I can hear the video, but nothing expands/opens to show the video I clicked upon. Is anyone else having this problem????

Yes it should. And for some reason, is loading in a new window for all browsers but IE7/8.

First, congrats on the media portal (MP) launch!

But I am having an issue. I dunno if it's just me, but there appears to be a problem in Firefox with the browser back button any place where there is a media portal video embedded, and it is even happening on ATS or BTS threads where a MP video is embedded. My back button doesn't work, and it takes multiple clicking very fast many times to get it to work. It is getting frustrating.

Another issue I have noticed when I watched 911 Press for truth on the MP is that it was difficult finding all the pieces of the film, and I had to use the back button, which, due to the problem above, was very frustrating. So the solution was to open one tab with the index of videos, and then open the actual media files in another tab. Any ideas on this SO?

Youtube has gotten better about this with multiple part videos, but it still doesn't work all that great, often requiring me to search for the pieces.

I haven't seen that, and I've been testing it with as many browsers as I have (including FF in Windows)

Look to the bottom-right of the media page... all related media is shown, and for multi-part videos, the parts are shown...

ok, thanks. And yes I saw that, but as I described, my only solution was to display exactly what you posted in that screencap, and then open the parts in a new tab.

Is anyone else having this trouble? I'll go check for an update to FF, but I just did that a couple weeks ago.

edit: nope, no updates available. (Meaning I am running latest version.) It might have something to do with Kaspersky then.

Haven't really looked to much into this, or ATS in general, not very active on the site actually.

But anyway, went and looked up around a bit, and i noticed these:

- Volume on the videos is always set to about 50%, when i open a video, then go to another one, it returns to 50%, it would be nice if it could be set to a preset value. Not really important but a nicety maybe.

- When browsing a member's profile on ATS, maybe it would be cool if there was a section similar to My podcasts or a link to that member's channel on the media portal? if there is one sorry i didn't see it.

Just my two cents/comments

ANT4....you say you only get 20seconds of your Vlog.
I checked it out and got the full 1.54seconds of it.

By the way is that pool table in Vinkings Toolshed?
