Upon thinking about it, I agree with you. There is a great deal of conspiracy involved in the "Entertainment" media. But I also would cover "Entertainment News" programs in the new forum as well.

I agree with what you are saying but it doesn't change the intent of the program...entertainment is and has been used to coerce the unaware public...

And the processes' are being refined, the industry professionals are getting more and more research while the public continues wondering whether or not they should have Mcdonald's or Subway for lunch.

I agree that things that have gone in this country are totally screwed up and things are being put in place that should not be. But what I am getting at is the paranoia that is been rampant on here lately. Whats the next conspiracy, ZOMG don't buy ibuprofen because the government and illuminati is putting secret codes on the bottle that when you read it your going to follow them blindly!! It's getting to that point lately on here.

I agree with the cycle for the most part...the thing I don't agree with is that the NWO is perpetuating this cycle....IMO it's laziness....and I do blame the parents for setting a better example and pushing kids to work harder, strive for more...all the things you mentioned...

There is a reason for the lack of education in America coupled with the superficiality in the form of entertainment that we practically spoon feed our children.

To prove my point, go into any gas station/convenience store and or grocery store. Go find the magazine rack, upon discovering the magazine rack what do you see? All of the magazines concerned with superficiality, celebrities, gossip, vanity, and sexuality are right there on the top row. You will probably also notice a swarm of giggling women in there twenties who are far too old to be acting like they are still in High School eating up every gossip magazine in the store.

Then notice directly below the Celebrity-crap-magazines that the science magazines like "Popular Mechanics" are hidden below and covered in a thin layer of dust.

We have been raised to worship superficiality, these companies might just be trying to make money but if they put the same effort into building intelligent people this world would be much different.

If there was no supply there would be no demand.

Look at how rampant addiction is, I wonder why, most people walk around feeling like they have some kind of a hole in their souls. A hole that they fill with anything to numb them, but that happens when people have been spoon fed garbage. The human race wants more than the superficiality that is given to them but they don't know where to look.

It's called entertainment. Something that has been around, gosh I don't know, forever? I respect the belief of Hollywood "working" with the government to "control" our minds and such and such. However, you're simply wrong.

When you're actually involved with the business, let me know. Maybe we'll do some business in the future. As for right now, Hollywood is a legit business organization. Are you able to give me some names that work with the government? Really, are you? Last time I checked, filmmakers aren't too fond of the government. Don't mention Tim Robbins, please. Actors who try to get political don't count. In fact, Hollywood is far from logical when they get involved with politics.

Granted, I'll never work in Hollywood and stay independent and do my own work mainly because I believe Hollywood has lost all originality and creativity considering the crap that's being put out today in theaters. However, I am aware (and hope you will someday become aware as well) there is not much science with Hollywood. It's all about money.

It may not be so much of a conspiracy as it is an influence for the dumbing of the masses. They may not be conspiring against the masses but are contributing to their numbing & dimming out.

Psychologically the masses are becoming more and more desensitized and are using less and less gray cells. How many have replaced reading for TV? How much of the public even reads today? And I don't mean the comics.

You know how many kids out there orgasm over Reality TV It's sickening. And the adults who watch that crap? ugh!

This is why the only thing I watch is Discovery Channel and HBO's Taxicab Confessions

agreed..but those uninformed decisions...who's fault is it that the decision is uniformed? who didn't take the time to look closely or think things through?

What if I told you the Earth was flat and that when you got to the edge you would fall off?.......and you didn't take the time to investigate....

I agree with you, but there is a sense that we must all be aware of the things the Government (Big Brother) is implementing.

There is so much stuff coming out lately (RFID, Laws, Policies, Regulations) that we can't even keep up with everything they are doing, and I guess that is the way they want it.

I hate it as well and like you do not want to have to worry about everything constantly, but if no one is paying attention it doesn't go away, it gets worse.

I was never involved in this stuff before 9/11, now it consumes me. I used to be a happy man with a family and a great life. Now I am an angry man looking for honest answers in a very deep rabbit hole.

But if I don't, if we don't, then what does tomorrow hold for us all.

Understood. But for any change to happen, people must stand up and unite against the rights and privacies being taken away from us instead of complaining about it on the internet. People do initially see things on the net and take interest I understand, but its 100 times more powerful when they see people out there taking on the injustices in person.

Parents are uninformed, schools propagate meaningless facts (relative to the real world) and there is a huge emphasis in the media for instant gratifications.

All of these factors and more are the root cause of the problem - society doesn't prepare its' citizens on the greater whole to interact with reality. And the pace of technological/Scientific advancement is going to far exceed that of the pace of the average American who was never told or even given an indication that there is more to life then their own myopic view of reality.

And in my opinion, that is what is needed in our land of conspiracy; a recognition that every subject and every topic really does overlap into the next one. The basic realities of education, sociological interactions and the established societal outlets are where everything starts...

I'm right there with you on that idea....and I do believe in a number of partial/full fledged conspiracies being perpetrated on people.....

it's just that as a member of the Hollywood industry, a member that deals in a large way with the content being produced....that there is no giant government conspiracy to control people....

do people become dumd-down due to the content they are watching...some do....some also get smarter because they watch Discovery or History or Nat Geo.

can people be influenced to think a certain way or act a certain way based on content....sure. happens all the time...look at presidential elections, advertising...music selections of any single era you choose....it has happended since the beginning of man and will continue to happen....

but, is that mind control? does that make a consipracy?

Tyler flashes with is arm around the speaker at the first meeting. Also an up close shot of the chick flashes when she's walking down the street. When his condo was on fire there was a police explaination of what could have happened, but as seen latter in the movie tyler blew up the condo. He also finds the chicks number from the burt rubble, just like they found the terroist passport on 9-11... I've whatched it up to this point now, it's one of my favorite movies. this is unconculsive, but notalbe.

I would say everday terestrial tv is used more for control than movies.A series grabs attention longer than a movie right?Whatever the case the term my grandfarther used to use for television was the idiot box and now im a young adult I can really see what he was saying.

I do believe in subliminal advertising, it is used, it's been caught being used. Same as in movies.

But sometimes a pyramid on a shelf is just a prop. Sometimes an orange is just an orange.

There are only so many shapes you can use before you get to complex and it looks silly. Circles, and triangles, and rectangles , and squares would be the main four.

So every circle we see is a subliminal image paying homage to the sun god?

Every triangle stanfs for money or illuminati?

Every square or set of squares stands for Masonic checks?

and every rectangle/obelisk shape, is phallic?

I am sure sometimes these are put there blatantly. But I think 95% of the time a triangle is just a triangle.

We should fear more of what they can slip in in a single frame that we cannot see and our conscious minds cannot see (because it's too fast), but our sub conscious can see(which has a stronger impact on the brain strangely enough).

I can only imagine how much of it is there,that we pick up subconsciously.
Remember the big McDonalds logo appearing in the middle of the Iron Chef show? But they left it there for like 10 frames instead of 1.

Seems like an easy accident to make, but with all the checking and reching of non live shows, it's extremely rare that one of these got caught.

With the billions of hours of movie footage out there, it is easy to cherry pick" Sun symbols, and numbers (especially when there like 20 diffeerent numbers that equal 666, and 10 letters, and a few backwards letters even)

In all these hours of footage these symbols ; upside down stars, number and letter combination are just bound to appear. Forget about every mundane Sun, and triangular structure.

Some of these are solid, and were implanted there for "reasons". I'll give you that OP. However the majority of these seem to be reaching just a bit, well more than just a bit.

Look at advertesments in magazines and circulars and catalogs,tv commercials, there's alot more "solid" subliminals there. ie stuff like Exxon, Starbucks, CocaCola, Wal Mart, Home depot, Shell,most any banking and insurance logos. No those are definitely not coincidence. But they just want to getyou to remembver thier product, through imagery, or a catchy jingle.

The stuff in the movies, you are saying they are trying to desensitize us to what is the real truth? I guess this could be true. We could be living in a Matrix..., who knows.
