The headline should read : Russia "HOPES" for end of U.S. in 2010.

The world will still exist, but we have seen the global effects of the housing market collapse and credit crunch in the US. If the US collapsed in the immediate future, the effects on a global scale would make the current mess pale in comparison.

Actually, I doubt that - the world does not revolve around the US. The dollar is already effectively a 'dead' currency, it just needs a stronger replacement.

Exactly simply because people wish things would come about does not make it so!
No matter how much they wishfully want it to happen and point to every little detail and scream See! There! We told you!

Simple fact, even if there is a decline in US influence that in and of itself does not mean it will disappear.

As of right now a good chunk of the planet does revolve around the US. Some may not like it, but that is how things are right now.

Japan and China are very dependent on a prospering US economy. Any nation that sells oil is dependent on the US economy. The US is the world's largest consumer of oil and oil prices are greatly affected by demand. Japan and China are export oriented economies that need US consumers.

You take away those consumers and that demand for oil, the world will find itself in a huge mess, a Greater Depression kind of mess.

Even the drug cartels and warlords in Afghanistan depend on a prospering US economy. The overwhelmingly vast majority of the world's illegal drugs are used by Americans.

The issue is that no one at the moment can replace the US. No one on earth consumes energy, materialist junk, and useless crap like America.

"The overwhelmingly vast majority of the world's illegal drugs are used by Americans."

Citation please? I simply don't believe that. Furthermore, how exactly do you define an "overwhelmingly vast" majority?

I think for us (america), emploding on ourselves would be the best thing.

We will never snap out of our nation-wide trance until our backs are littleraly against the wall.

The world depends on us as much as we need them and If the US fails .. Humanity fails.

To see what I see in the news... humans do not deserve to live ... on this planet.

Here's an interview with him on RussiaToday.

`There will be civil war in US in 2009`

The break-up of America into six pieces? Alaska joining the Russian Federation? Will Russia survive the crisis? Igor Panarin, a Russian professor of economics, discusses these questions when he dropped by the RT studio on Thursday.

I used that silly phrase to try to convey the amount of illegal drugs the US imports and consumes. Here's some resources.

United States- world's largest consumer of coc aine (shipped from Colombia through Mexico and the Caribbean), Colombian heroin, and Mexican heroin and marijuana; major consumer of ecstasy and Mexican methamphetamine; minor consumer of high-quality Southeast Asian heroin; illicit producer of cannabis, marijuana, depressants, stimulants, hallucinogens, and methamphetamine; money-laundering center

www.cia.gov...

"The total number of drug users in the world is now estimated at some 200 million people, equivalent to about 5 per cent of the global population age 15-64. Cannabis remains by far the most widely used drug (some 162 million people), followed by amphetamine-type stimulants (some 35 million people), which include amphetamines (used by 25 million people) and ecstasy (almost 10 million people). The number of opiate abusers is estimated at some 16 million people, of which 11 million are heroin abusers. Some 13 million people are coc aine users."
Source:
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), World Drug Report 2006 Vol. 1: Analysis (Vienna, Austria: UNODC, June 2006), p. 9.

Out of the 13 million coc aine users estimated by the UN out of the 6 billion humans that live on the planet the Office of National Drug Control Policy estimates that 3.6 million Americans are frequent users of coc aine. Thats just the estimated frequent users, not your casual users. That number would be much higher if they could determine how many casual users there are.

The heroin info is harder to get, since most online resources only list addicts or the results of surveys. I based my statement off of a story on cable news, but I will try to get some more info on the heroin statistics. Reported addicts are in the hundreds of thousands with surveys reporting usage into the millions. Frequent and casual user info I will try get.

The US consumes enough drugs to affect the international drug trade through demand. That is my ultimate point with the issue.

Wow, Canada gets a big chunk but I think we would rather have the east coast, if thats all right with everyone. I don't think Russia is gonna want Palin country, I'm sure they would want something more substantial. Actually, on second thought, we don't want none of it!! Just give us an agreement that you will leave us out of all your NWO plans. Canada's peoples could do just fine by ourselves, tyvm.

Ok next question do you think the people of The United States would or will ever let something like this happen?
Me personal I cant imagine this ever happening, People are way to proud and set in the ways they are accustomed to.
I do however agree that we do need some kind of a change but is this really where we have let ourselves get to?

Thanks for posting the video. I always try to see both sides of an argument I may not always agree with the opposite view but I'll listen but this guy...

Oh my God this is great no defense of my opinion needed I’ll let him speak for me. This guy is a crock!

First off I don’t know of any Texan or Californian that would go with Russian, Chinese or Mexican leadership

Second find me a New Yorker that would Bow down to any European authority not to mention the UK

Russian ruble becoming an economic currency for Eurasia

And lastly Alaska going back to Russian Rule yeah just try it I know a few Hardy Alaskans that would have a word or two for them

If anything this video alone proves that.
A. This guy has no clue about the US.
B. This guy has never lived in the US.
C. This guy is only smart enough to be out for a quick buck

Look at this picture of the World and let it sink in!

I realize that this has to be taken with a grain of salt, Considering the source, but with everything that is going on lately who knows.

The scary thing is how he says that the U.S will be broken up into six different regions. I was reading on another forum (Bankrupted States = Con-Con & New States Constitution) and everything in the links there was lead to just about the same thing.

www.foxnews.com
(visit the link for the full news article)

I read through it, and, it sounds like John Titor, but 4 years later.

Well, we don't have to wait long to find out if he's right or not... too bad we'll all probably forget about this by then.

Oh wow...some professor in Russia has been swilling too much Vodka and makes this assertian? I dont care about past credentials yadda, yadda, yadda. He's a professor. If some professor from the US makes such a bold claim, does everyone jump on his schtick?

I think that some kind of breakdown of the US Federal government is quite likely. Consider this. With the Federal government lurching towards bankruptcy, individual states will be tempted to declare their independence on the theory that if the Federal Income tax that had been paid from taxpayers in the state was paid to the state government instead, then that would help keep the state government financially solvent. States that have lots of natural resources like Alaska and Texas will not want to subsidize the other states that are not so fortunate and therefore they too will withdraw. The question that I don't have an answer to is whether the Federal government will use force to keep states from leaving. If the Federal government is bankrupt, it may not be able to pay the military to enforce it's will.

The United States split into two countries in the 1860's because there was a central difference in ideals, but it was reunified in the blink of an eye.

The US could collapse and it would be arrogant to suggest otherwise.

Our nation and our freedom have existed for as long as they have because of continuous vigilance and the blood of patriots.

The moral fiber of our nation has been weakened over the last five decades or so and we no longer have a populace who is willing to drop everything and go off to war to defend our nation.

Fortunately, we do have at this time a sufficient force, but it is disgraceful how they have been forced into numerous deployments, though I commend them all for rising to the call of duty so willingly. We owe them a great deal--more than we can ever repay.

America's strength and the strength of our economy is its dymamism. The Communists have been predicting the demise of capitalism for almost one hundred and fifty years and it has been rising and falling since the beginning. Always teetering on collapse, but always maintaining enough oomph to rise from the ashes of one economic disaster or another.

The same can be said for America. Our enemies try to destroy us from within and without, yet people keep coming from all parts of the world to find a piece of the dream and in doing so, contribute to what makes America so strong and so resilient.

America might collapse, but it will be no one's fault but our own.

Incidentally, I would not exactly call four years and the bloodiest war in history a "blink of an eye."

I have to agree with most on here...His view is flawed. Things like Texas falling under control of the Mexican governement is ludicris. I would dare say that the Texas National Guard alone could defeat any armed invasion from Mexico. And how soon we forget that we are an armed country. Who ever posted the comment that the Russians taking over Alaska would be like a second Afghanistan to them is very accurate. However, I do agree that with the federal government becoming bankrupt we are going to face a crossroad. What will you do when they raise your taxes to 50, 60, 70% of our income? I'm not saying this would start a revolution but there would be some major problems and States talking about not paying the feds is definitely a possiblity. 2009 is going to be an interesting year. I don't think the powers that be can put to many more bandaids on the problem. We're heading for failure. What "failure" will entail I do not know.

That'll be the day that any Louisianian I know takes orders from down south. We can't even get along with Alabama, how do you expect us to get along with Mexico. As long as the South holds onto its guns (Which is a whole nother argument in itself) we will never need to take orders from anyone not living in Washington or Baton Rouge.

Anyone notice in the interview that under his name hes listed as a member of a government ministry? Russian propaganda, it seems, is alive and well.

My favorite part is his solution for Russia's financial crises - make the Russian currency the reserve currency and Moscow the financial center of the continent.

Why, I believe I've heard of that before..oh yes, the United States has made New York the financial center of the continent and the dollar is the reserve currency.

So he's going to fix Russia by copying the United States, which he says will collapse.

Brilliance!
