Your logic should extend further.

The rockets are being fired because Israel emprisoned the people of Gaza and refused to let any foreign or domestic aid enter the area.
People in Gaza were living of gras and flowers they could find in the area. Food was deliberatly made scarse.

So, who provoked who? Chicken, Egg, ...


The conflict started when EUROPE took the Palestinians land and gave it to a bunch of Jews who aren't even the same people as the ones getting killed by the millions by Germany in the WW.

I know quite a few jewish belgians and they are as disgusted with what ISRAEL is doing as anyone.

But Israel is hiding behind the cloak that THEY are the jewish people and with that they are giving a bad name to every other Jew around the world. While in Reality, the Jewish people that were massmurdered by the germans are DEAD or living back all over Europe where they and their families were taken from by the Germans, or moved to the US.

Only 1/4th of the Jewish people live in Israel and the origins of the Jewish people that moved there when they were given that land were Russian and Baltic Jews, who have been seperate and unconnected with the European Jews who are the actual people who got slaughtered by the Germans.

The conflict isn't about Jews fighting for their homeland, its about a bunch of overpriveleged and overprotected tugs thinking that they can massacre, emprison and torture the Palestinian people untill there are none left.

I back Israels right to exist. Lots of people do. The land is a place where they can rule themselves. Europeans made Jews lives out of control for hundreds of years. They had nowhere to go when trouble happened. Even my country UK never bombed the railway lines to the death camps. Nobody cared when they could not help themselves. If a people has a national state then this can help save them in their hour of need. Israel if it had existed then could have bombed the railway tracks then and slowed down the murder. If a Brit or American is in trouble somewhere in the world because of a revolution or war or something, it's nice to know there's a place out there that will step in and save them. That's why I support Israel as an entity.

If its war to the bitter end then Israel wont mind of the US just sits on the sidelines and let them have their Holy War at their expense.....

It seems to me that if israel can murder people by the dozen this time at least 315 it seems to me that at least 315 people on the israeli side should also die. As they would use there bible and say a tooth for a tooth a eye for a eye a life for a life.

Does that mean then by that account someone in the world gets to injure or murder at least 315 civilans or at least wound 13 to 1400 hundered sounds fair and balanced to me.

I wish you could live one day in one of the Palestinians in the Gaza strip and that area. I wish you could see how it feels to be oppressed and not have clean water to drink and not have good medical care and to be held down like some animal in a cage. I only wish you could see how it feels. It's easy to defend Israel on the computer but if you would live one day under the oppression that Palestinians live under every single day...i'm pretty sure you would feel a different way

I don't want to add to the doom and gloom, but there is alot of tension right now. These are the situations that erupt into a world war.

Russian - Tryng to show its military power to regain superpower satus, supplying weapons
USA - fighting a drawn out war in the middle east, supplying weapons
India + Pakistan - on verge of war
Israel - launched a large offensive againt Palestine.
Iran - encouraging action against Israel.

all is needed is a spark.

I just have a feeling one of these countries is going to do something real stupid.

Its what I have been saying all along, across several threads. There is a history to all this that clearly shows one side being oppressed and supressed, and the other side having to defend itself because of the other attacking them.

One good question is why did it all begin in the first place. But the real question should be..why wont they change to make it stop.

60 years of doing the same thing by both sides tends to make the answer to the question elusive.

Just wait till that civilian death toll rises, it will soon hit a peak, that peak will be the "spark" that will launch something far worse than this back and forth attack, counter attack nonsense, and then everyone will be raised up in arms asking what the heck happend and why.

Well ask the Israeli's and the Hamas.

The controls on Gaza were put their due to "THEIR terrorist suicide bombing of civilians.

They brought this on to themselves, over and over again.

This is really so simple.

If it is ok for Hamas to ATTACK, then it is just as ok for Israel to "COUNTER" attack.

If it is wrong for Israel to "COUNTER" attack, then it is wrong for Hamas to attack, period.

No, well, ........ Either it is ok for both sides to make war or it is wrong for both sides to make war.

None of this "POO" about it is ok for Hamas but no Israel
