Exactly. The thing about all this is that the Hamas did do some things to make Israel retaliate from the attacks made upon them. But lets compare the apples to the oranges here.

How, by getting elected? Qassam rockets have got nothing to do with nothing. Most were eminently ineffective. They are just fig leaves for the zionist entity to carry on the ethnic cleansing. The Qassam rockets are a part of a series of excuses Israel uses to steal more land and conduct genocide.

Well,

If they are nothing, how about "I" launch 50-100 at you and your home everyday??

How about if I launch mortars at your house everyday.

I mean they are not that strong, so my attacking you would be ok?????

(THIS IS NOT A THREAT, SIMPLY MY WAY OF TRYING TO MAKE A POINT THAT I FEEL THIS PERSON MAY NOT UNDERSTAND UNTIL IT IS PUT IN TERMS THAT WOULD DIRECTLY EFFECT HIM.)

The case is very simple.

When Hamas attacks the get counter attacks.

If Hamas does not want counter attacks, they should not attack.

See, peace is really very simple to achieve.

Funny how some people want to accuse others of not seeing both sides when they themselves refuse to see both sides.

Are you just reaching into thin air for brownie points or do you not read what I post at all and only the first line or two?

Sheesh,,,I guess I need to repeat it again like I had to in the other thread.

Both sides are at fault.
Both sides are at fault.
Both sides are at fault.
Both sides are at fault.
Both sides are at fault.
Both sides are at fault.
Both sides are at fault.

Tell you what, I will u2u about a thousand of those and then maybe you might get the idea...ya?

For certain, any attack on one's home should be reason enough for retaliation, but the debate rests with the simple fact that killing and taking innocent lives is wrong no matter what side you are on,I agree on one thing as well.. none of this is going to turn out well for anybody period.

Could you be more right? why don't people see this, did the media influence their humanity and ability to empathize with other that suffer, this is far from a post supporting terrorists the basic human want for others not to suffer is at play here keep it up RFBurns others would do well to follow your ideals.

Livni is now on Fox Sunday show. She just said that peace with Hamas is not what they are hoping for, but instead to change all the dynamics of the situation. There has been a calling up of reserves and she didn't even attempt to hedge on ground invasion, she simply stated that all options are on the table.

Sad, but too true.

Thank you alyosha. I have tried and tried and tried to show clearly that I see the error of both sides, and have seen the error since the late 60's about both Israel and Palestine faults in all this mess, and have desperately tried to post those facts as clearly as I possibly can, but for some reason, some just dont seem to see that and keep trying to push me over to one side or the other.

Cheers!!!!

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Israeli warplanes pressing one of Israel's deadliest assaults ever on Palestinian militants dropped bombs and missiles on a top security installation and dozens of other targets across Hamas-ruled Gaza on Sunday. Infantry and armored units headed to the Gaza border for a possible ground invasion, as the Israeli Cabinet authorized a callup of thousands of reserve soldiers. Some 280 Palestinians died in the first 24 hours of the campaign against Gaza rocket squads — most of them Hamas police. Unbowed by 250 Israeli airstrikes, militants fired dozens of rockets and mortars at border communities Sunday. Two rockets struck close to the largest city in southern Israel, Ashdod, some 38 kilometers (23 miles) from Gaza, reaching deeper into Israel than ever before. The targeting of Ashdod confirmed Israel's concern that militants are capable of putting major cities within rocket range. No serious injuries were reported in any of the attacks Sunday.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

This just continues to escalate and as I have said before what of the countless innocent civilians that will die or be displaced due to this conflict, can't you see people are dying here as we read these posts, man I'm frustrated what has to happen to bring peace???

"all options on the table"? where is the peace option? or the stop the killing option well I guess the "obliterate the enemy" option and let the MSM corrupt the minds option is the one their choosing... not an attack on your post but a kick at the statements.

You are correct.

When Gaza attacks, it targets civilians and they suffer.

When Israel counter attacks, it is their civilians that suffer, as Hamas hides behind them.

As both groups fight, it is the civilians on both sides that suffer.

We need to stop "BOTH" sides from attacking.

It is useless to try to allow one side to attack daily-Hamas, yet say the counter attacks are wrong.

No attacks!!!!!!!!!
No Counter attacks!!!!!!

Try living in peace, this to both governments!!!

We need top ask ," where is the peace option..FROM BOTH SIDES"

We can't look at only one side, it MUST be both sides.

If either side is not willing/wanting peace, there can be no peace.

I will say it again, "Hamas" as well as Israel need to say, we want peace.

This has not happened, and I doubt it will.

The key word there is "trying" your underlying effort to support the right to live has not gone unnoticed by me for some I cannot say the same, I am new to this situation as you can probably tell but I can see it clearly for what it is: two children going back and forth saying "you did it" "no, you did it" and the MSM picking sides and egging the stronger one on as if to say "ya! go get em tiger"

RFBurns, You have done nothing but make your position clear both in this thread and the first one. I have read both. We must understand that when we present an honest evaluation of this, those with deep loyalty to Israel cannot logically respond. As we all know, if you can't make your point clearly, you attack the messenger. I have enjoyed your posts and find you to be very balanced in your presentation.

Gaza is the most dense population in the whole Middle East, so of course Hamas will have operations in civilian areas, there is no room for them to isolate themselves. How sad that the nation of Israel has become the Goliath and the people of Gaza must now become the David. This would be similar to bombing the neighborhoods where the riots happened in LA. Since so many were rioting they just could have bombed the whole section of town and "flushed them out". IF we, the US, will not stand for this in our nation, how can we support this anywhere in the world. OH, I forgot, Israel is special and all the Bible Thumpers think that she must be supported and loved no matter what. NONSENSE.

You are correct, and that is exactly the point and as RFBurns put it Both sides are wrong, point blank period but I see that some members (which they are entitled to) would see this from a one sided perspective and repel all arguments made in the spirit of peace and humanity, I believe they would differ in their opinions if they were on the recieving end of those air strikes or rockets for that matter!( no threats intended, just trying to prove a valid point IMO.)
Edit to add disclaimer.

Thank you redhead57.
I am only a spectator amongst many other spectators in a world where being neutral is as dangerous as being on one side or the other of an issue. But I will stand my ground very firmly to remain neutral.

Gaza is so small it barely matches up to the size of some large ranch lands in the US and has over 1.3 million people crammed into it! Not only cramned into a sliver of land, but surrounded and at the very edge of the mediteranian sea. With no where to go, those peoples backs are against a corner constantly.

I do not see how anyone can just sit there and say they dont have their reasons for lashing out at their oppressors. After 60 years of being crammed up into a corner I too would lash out at anything that tried to drive me further into the corner when there is no more corner to back into.

And when it comes to Hamas or the previous PLO actions, they could have sat at the negotiation table 30 years ago with Israel and both come to an agreement that both sides could have lived with. Alot of outside influence also played a role in those outcomes as well. And now its all a cat and mouse game and it isnt pretty.

Im not sure now if any peace can be achieved. This time the oppressor has taken things over the edge and pushing the oppressed literally off the edge.

Cheers!!!!

This is very true, if both sides wouldn't have been so stubborn and greedy they could have worked out their differences a long time ago and saved many lives by making some scrifices and acting like adults this whole conflict is absolutly rediculous apparently human life is not worth much in Gaza.

seriously... how can anyone in America possibly bash Israel. Israel has got NOTHING on American aggression and destruction of innocent life in the name of 'safety' 'retaliation' etc. Not to mention the same folks bitching about Israel are funding Israel. Such a double standard. What the hell can Israel do? Imagine someone shooting rockets at your neighborhood all frikin day, what would you do? What if you knew nothing you did would make the attackers happy and that NO MATTER WHAT they want your neighborhood eradicated. What would you do? Can you possibly put yourself in their shoes?
