Here's a good animated map of world earthquakes, not sure if the two Wyoming hits are on it yet.

www.seis.utah.edu...

This is Flag Ranch, part of the Teton's group

ALL of the active Teton sensors show that flaky kick where it moves the 04:16 line up to 03:45 line... weird.

Not to mention they are all picking up the distant stuff better then the Yellowstone park sensors.

Can someone direct me to info on the one that also just happened in Nevada? Did it occur just before the one in Wyoming? I'm in the desert southwest and my cat has been trying to hide in the closet for the past hour or so. He's drinking my water now, nonchalantly...but he is a cat.

They are freaked out already by the below zero temps that are out of the norm around here. They won't come out of their "cat house"!

I went though a 6.5 in Oregon some years ago.

My cats did not freak out until about 20 seconds before it hit.

When the all clear was given, I had the cat carrier with the cats in it next to the window and I was ready to jump out. ( I was in an old brick building with 4 stories and on the bottom, lol)

A week later I was on a bus as soon as the road opened back to good ole Arizona where the ground stays still.

Arizona? You're kidding. Southern Arizona has had some bad quakes - one that changed the direction of the San Pedro River...it was in the 1860's sometime if I recall correctly.

Yup! You will note thet SNOW and FLWY jumped clear off of their tracks. Wonder what height the traces would have looked like if they werent clipped. SNOW is set at 1000 microvolts whereas FLWY is at 100.

Wow , did not know that.

I have lived most of my life in Phoenix, and remember only one in this area myself. It was as small one, we saw the washer and dryer moving, thought someone turned it on, but was on the news it was a quake. Was very surprised.

Will have to look up it's history.

I have been through other small ones in Oregon and Reno, and the one large one in Klammath Falls soon after the big one in CA that took all those bridges down. No fun.

Can you tell me what the squiggly up and down motion at 1:15 is on the image you just provided?.. It matches the Lake and Old Faithful and that exact time..

Fraid not.

Usually the ringing from distant quakes won't last longer than an hour, and it will have a 'pattern' to it that is fairly easy to pick out. The Earth is fairly busy today though.

Before the last 'pipe cleaner' wave form that had the quake in it, I picked up a quake just before that series kicked off.

Sadly I don't have a screenie of it
