Also as it is Bush's last visit to Iraq and his behaviour towards that country has changed the world we live in beyond all recognition, it shows the real underlying feeling of the Arab world to this man, and therefore unfortunately, by proxy their hatred of Americans.

About the shoe bombing angle, well I guess the reason he didn't use a shoe bomb is because #1 he's a journalist not a terrorist, well, he's a terrorist now i guess!

And #2, those shoe bombs are rubbish. They would have noticed him take his shoe off, open the secret compartment, set fire to his shoe, and then chuck it.

wow george bush has reflexes like a cat!! they should make a matrix video out of that!!

You can't predict everything that can happen. It was a couple shoes for *snip* sake. Surely they were screened for weapons and explosives before coming in and if a shoe toss is the most effective thing they can improvise I would say the security measures worked alright.

It goes beyond the shoes IMO. If somebody is charging up towards a podium like that, they will usually intercept him en-route. They are usually screening the crowd profusely for anyone displaying signs of agitation. Unless that guy had the poker face of the year, the minute he started charging up toward the front someone should have either stopped him or stepped in front of Bush.

I would have to tend to agree with how you feel. When I first saw this, it was attached to a section of my mind that gets tugged on alot when I start see'ing played out shows, or illusions.
How could it be this easy to hit Bush in the head with not 1 shoe, but 3 shoes? And not have the guys who hurled those shoes not either dead on the spot, or put in jail.
No to me something is not right here.. It was to good to be true folks.
And felt alot like propaganda to me.. But its that time of year again isnt it folks?
