I will admit that I have not followed the minutae of this case but can someone show me where he has not produced proper identification to the proper authorities?? Can someone prove to me why I should not believe the State officials in Hawaii??

Oh and by the way, the reason I have not followed the case as closely as some of you is the fact that his mother was an American citizen. That is plenty enough evidence for me. In fact all I see are rabid partisans, racists and lawyers looking to ruin a man on some technicality so he won't be President.

Firstly, allow me to congratulate you on that comment. It's not often that I agree, disagree, agree and then disagree again. Hell, you've even got that authority thingie down with regard to looking at the link code rather than info at said link.

Anyway, my quibble is found in the parenthetical parts (mine) of this quote:

I'm a nice person who understands teamwork, respect for others and overlooking small, petty issues. Hell, when my housekeeper comes, I help clean alongside her while sometimes overlooking a spiderweb; the nature of our relationship is different in the sense that it's voluntary, beneficial to us both and while not without a problem here or there, honest. I got Obama and McCain as the only possible winners because of mob rule and and a bad set-up so the president of the country I live in better damn well understand that he's answerable to the many like me and I'm never going to give him a pass on giving the country the finger.

As a non-US person - from the outside of US politics it is very clear that something is very wrong, and what appears trivial on the surface I suggest indicates far more serious issues that should have everyone very worried right now...

- The Obama birth certificate should be a non-issue, it is so silly - the man should just present his papers (like EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO) to the appropriate authorities and the issue is closed in "blink of an eye" - what's the problem.... I hate to say this, but when the populous just lets "the government" little bit by little bit destroy the laws/rules/constitution and takes away checks/balances/ freedoms, and rights and starts hiding even basic information – EVERY TIME throughout history it leads to some form of oppressive government, and it is always dressed up to be something really good - you only realise when it is too late. Few ever seem to believe it could happen in their country in their time – but it happens to someone some where ....

I do not want to offend anyone – but seriously look at history - look at the lead up to WWII and how Hitler convinced Germany that he stood for great and honourable things in their hour of need during depression and great unemployment, (look at his early speeches etc and what he said was quite good). It was only over time after he carefully removed checks/balances/controls/opponents/laws (that did not suit him), and used fear to build his power, that the true nature came out when it was all too late.
Fear of terrorism and “giving up rights for protection “ is far more dangerous than the terrorists themselves

If you do not like that example, try starwars III - and see how easy it is to have a populous cheer and celebrate as they give away all their laws, rights and freedoms for “peace and security”...

The US constitution is there for a reason, dismiss it, erode it, ignore it, bend it - and over time the US will cease... There is always some power hungry political person who will exploit opportunity to the full...

No-one should ever be considered above the law or constitution...

Read Further and Learn a bit about Jus Sanguinis.

While you may think you have found a flaw I assure you... you have not.

Two lines later I address the time span issue. Obama's Mother was 24 for her first documented trip outside of the U.s.

Anywho... Remember the words Jus Sanguinis, This is Obama's Guarantee that he can take the office.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with Mr. Marrs here. You see, Obama has proved he is a natural born citizen to every aspect of our law and to every level of our government. If Mr. Marrs would read a few of the many, many threads on this issue, he will see many posters consistently use law, statute, and logic to show why there is no credible evidence Obama is not a natural born citizen. And yes, all of those who have defended Obama have used the law to do so. Some have been more partisan than others, but I hope in this thread at least we can all be civil, social, and intelligent

If the Constitution explicitly states that candidates must publicize or submit their vault birth certificate to prove their natural born status, I'd like someone to point me to the passage where this is written.

Well, I say the Constitution is supreme and it includes a Bill of Rights that implies a right to privacy, so Obama has the right as an American citizen to exercise his privacy when he has already gone above and beyond what all other president elects have gone to prove their eligibility. Unfortunately, my implied right to privacy has far more standing in the past 200 years of the judicial system than the VBC as only means of natural born proof, and until a case has actual merit, it will remain that way.

If any of these cases had any merit, don't you think one of them would have stuck? Are all of these judges liberals in on a conspiracy, or just conservatives (note that I do not mean Republican or Democrat, I am speaking in terms of Constitutional interpretation) that have been paid off?

That's the beauty of the Constitution: it is this exquisite and wonderful document that allows the people to voice their opinion, their choice, and their will, while carefully safeguarding the fragility of individuality.

Once again, please, I implore you to look at the sources of these allegations. Look up the backgrounds of the people making these claims. Look at the websites who are propogating these claims. Look at the experts asserting these claims. Look at all the 'first-hand' sources of these claims. Research the laws and statutes of the US and Hawaii that were in effect at the time. Research the laws and statutes that are in effect now during these cases. Do all this, and please tell me again if you think there is a valid conspiracy here, and tell me why.

I don't want to go through every claim again, use law, reason, and the Constitution to explain why what has happened has happened and why he is lawfully and legally considered a natural born citizen, because I'm so very tired of doing so...but the truth is out there, on this site, for any one that cares to find it. I hope some do.

Question: What do you want to see? He published the short form, which includes the same birth place as the long form, and which is the ONLY form you can produce. If you lose the one you're parents got handed out at birth, and you request a new one, you get a short form. Read 'A Birth Certificate Study' and understand that the short form is exactly what people got when they requested a copy of their birth certificate.

Furthermore, there are existing photographs of both sides from all angles of the document. And state officials that declare this exact document as genuine. What more do you want? Do I smell desperation? I think so.

I'm not American so I don't give a #, but this article is highly misleading and suppresses A LOT of facts, and therefore includes many half-truths and unsubstained rumours. Shame on you, Mr. Marrs.

Sorry about the mix up concerning US military bases . I suppose you could make the case that aspects of the US Constitution could have been clarified better but I would have never have said that being a Natural Born Citizen is one of those . Unless someone is trying to get around the eligibility rules then there shouldn't be anything to the matter . Chasing ludicrous dead ends like this one just gives a country's leader a free hand to what ever else they please .

are you kidding me? Not only is the presidency probably the hardest job on the planet it is also one of the most stressful by far.... Countless times we've seen presidents elected looking great healthy dark headed. Then 4-8 years later they look haggered beat down grayed over. You have advisors and such but the choice and its repercussions are layed directly at your feet. Correct me if im wrong but making a decision on wether or not to launch an attack that will claim many lives is not easy. Nor is it easy to face down all the crap thrown at a president by the worlds population. No matter what Americans do or the president decides he will take a large hit from some sector of the international community.

As for the issue of obama being a natural citizen, i am glad that people havent dropped this issue. The left wing guard dogs have already created the phenominon of Mr. Obama, it must not go unnoticed or unreported that he may not be eligible to be president. I havent got much feeling on wether or not he will be a good president, but i do believe that the American people deserve to know who this guy realy is and have the right to know before we put the keys to the country in his hands.

I used to really respect Jim Marrs. he actually used to provide FACTS and DOCUMENTATION to back him up, not just blog crap and the word of Alan Keyes (LOL).

Last I checked the burden of proof in any court proceeding is on the part of the Plaintiff. NEVER on the Defendant. That's how we enforce the constitutional spirit of 'Innocent until proven guilty'.

and courts won't generally hear cases that have zero evidence.
