Yes, I can and have. Let's assume for a moment that Obama WAS born in Hawaii, his citizenship is NOT in question and that his CoLB is genuine. My suspicion is that when Berg first sued, Obama's legal advisors told him to let it play out. After all, he had posted his CoLB on the Internet and it did not satisfy all the people.

Letting the suit play out has one HUGE advantage. And that is that once it gets thrown out and tossed around and 17 more suits pop up, one trip to the Supreme Court will settle it once and for all. If he had "rolled over" and gone to the trouble of showing his actual Birth Certificate to Berg and his lawyer, there would be other people wanting to see it. Then, if he posted it on the Internet for all to see, there would be those who would think it was fake and another huge internet scandal would ensue. Then, with every suit that popped up, he would have to send a copy to them or go to that state court and go through the hassle of proving his credentials time and time again. By withholding it until the Supreme Court got involved and perhaps finally demands to see it, he can show it ONE TIME to them, and wipe out all current and future cases with one action. The Supreme Court, the highest court in the land, will have either thrown the case out or demanded proof and proclaimed him ELIGIBLE.

THAT'S why I think he's not providing proof to every Tom, Dick and Harry that knows a lawyer and can file a claim against him. He's waiting (at his legal team's advice) until he can take care of it with one action. If it's going to be in the news, they want it to be that some crazy people filed a lawsuit and the Supreme Court shot it down or proved him right.

Secondly, (and this, too, is just my opinion) I don't know how much people have actually read about Obama, but I have read so much, I feel like I know him. And if I am ANY judge of character, this whole "scandal" about his eligibility has got him just a little pissed off. NO American-born presidential candidate has EVER had ANYTHING CLOSE to this interrogation about his eligibility. And along comes a black man and all of a sudden, he's a gay, socialist, fascist, Arab, terrorist Muslim who wasn't really born in the US and is "anti-American"... If he's TOTALLY innocent of these charges, think about how these accusations might strike him...

If I were him, I'd wait, too. I'd wait till the accusers spent all their money and energy and took their silly cases to the highest court and then... when the SC asked me, I'd say, "Oh, this little old thing? Sure you can see it..."

Just my thoughts and opinions on why he doesn't "turn it over". He posted his CoLB for the ENTIRE WORLD to see, which is more than any American-born candidate has ever been requested to do and look what happened... The more appropriate questions is, Why WOULD he post his Birth Certificate online and go through what he did with the CoLB?

Visionary foresight that there would massive riots all over the place if the SC determined that Obama is not qualified, I believe to be overly alarmist, and simply untrue.

I totally agree. I think race riots and such are almost wishful thinking on some people's behalf.

I do, too. BUT, as I have said before, IF Obama's parents lived in Hawaii and Obama was (unknowingly) born in Kenya while his parents were vacationing there, and IF the SC determines that the intent of the founding fathers was NOT to exclude a person from presidential eligibility because their parents were stupid enough to travel abroad so close to her term, and so therefore determine that Obama is a natural-born citizen, then I will accept that.

I have found NO indication that Obama's mother ever had a passport OR that they traveled to Kenya together or that Obama was born in Kenya. I have scrubbed and scrubbed looking for evidence and there's just none than I can find. So, I think he really was born in Hawaii. Occam.

Let's say Obama is NOT eligible to serve because of his birth (or his four years in Indonesia) and "they" (SC or majority American vote, whatever means) deem it okay to proceed with the Presidency and throw this out and let him serve anyway....

Then what part of the Constitution WOULD be sacred and held to? What would be upheld and what would be squashed?? Who would decide?? What if this were a "ploy" (because any good conspiracy starts as something small so it goes unnoticed...) to get everyone so worked up about this BC that noone even cared anymore and said "Just change the Constitution and be done with it....we don't want to dwell on this we have enough to think about..." (I mean, with the world going to hell like it is, why worry about something that "doesn't really matter", right?) Well, who's to say (and this is for the Conspiracy Theorists) that the "ploy" was to get everyone to this point, give him (Obama, his team) the go ahead to change what our country is based on just to "keep the peace"....well, what happens the next time something in the Constitution stands in his (Obama's) way....will he changed that, too?? Will Americans want him to, just to "keep everything running smoothly"? Well, if that sets the precident, then what about the next president? What if he (the next President) truly is what everyone was thinking Obama is, and who can tell the next president that they can't do what the president before him did and change whatever they want, based on what works for them....what then?? If this is the best the opposition can do then I am afraid they will be extremely disappointed and ultimately embarrassed when this is once and for all, legally ended.

Surely McCain and his supporters have gotten wind of this bogus Birth Certificate/Citizenship...what I'd like to know is "why is the McCain administration not trying to press this issue and appeal"?

You may be right. And I FULLY believe Obama is eligible. I voted for him and I support him and most of his policies.

However, I do believe that people have questions. And while I don't agree that they have any legitimacy, the doubts are there. And I think they have a right to want answers and I hope they get answers. I want the truth, just as they do and, I'm sure, you do.

This is precisely what they want you to do.

You see, even though this was an issue prior to the election, the Obama camp knew if they could just get him elected, then folks would be obliged to turn a blind eye, forget this whole naturalized citizen thing and unite behind the annointed one.

It is our right as US citizens to question this, especially if we have not been privvy to the actual birth certificate and there is sufficient reason to doubt his legitimacy as a naturalized citizen. This whole thing could go away in a minute if the ACTUAL BC was released.

And, let me ask the folks who voted against Bush. Did you UNITE behind him once he was elected? Or, did you do nothing but bash and oppose him throughout his term? Now, you ask that we UNITE behind someone who doesn't have America's best interests at heart?

Without going into detail, I have recently become somewhat physically impaired, so yeah, I get bored. I am thankful that ATS is here so I can interact with people and stretch my mind. I live in the country and can ride my ATV around, but even that gets old after a while. Believe me, I'd much rather be out running with my dogs, but alas...

This is another point that's been made here before. IF Obama isn't who he says he is, he has access to the best in the world and could probably fool 90% of the experts, so people are wasting their time going after this.

I happen to share your opinion on the place pretty much verbatim, except in this case he said and I quote "I had learned about the story accidentally through World Net Daily..." And that was pretty much all he said about WND. So why would that tend to make you believe that this guy is a die hard WND fan getting all his news from there?

I am still looking for a real example of a similar CoLB from 1961. So far all I can find is a genuine from 1963 here, but this appears to be a CERTIFICATE of LB, and not the CERTIFICATION that has been circulating. In other words, this is close to the real deal that everyone so much wants to see:

There are other issues too that people are questioning, especially the issue of his CoLB stating AFRICAN instead of NEGRO. They are arguing that the term African did not come about until after the civil rights movement. An answer to that might potentially be that since his CoLB was a more recent copy, it may have been "politically corrected"? I dunno. Weird.

If Obama has committed FRAUD by participating in and/or acquiescing to the alteration of his birth certificate, or even if he has not and is just not a natural-born citizen as required by the Constitution, the result is the same: his election is invalid!!

(And have the Obamabots considered what the reaction will be of the US citizens when they are forced to accept such a FRAUD as their President?! I am not an Obama fan or supporter, and I was definitely not a More of the same supporter, but after doing some research about this situation, I have come to my own conclusion that he is indeed a US Citizen.
