Yeah Egypt has a bad reputation for that (so does India). They don't just stare they will also grope on the street. It is important for women to do their research when traveling, especially alone. Iran was ultra polite in tha tway.

But a few heavily armed guards would make a difference at times, like when they were shooting up the restaurant. Though that part probably was an inside job, they relaxed the security at the Taj a week before.

I,as an indian,living in mumbai,take it as a mighty offence,how would you feel if someone would've said the same thing to you during the 9/11 fiasco,please get your facts straight.

the only reason the siege has lasted this long is because the army wanted to ensure that there are minimal casualties,and hostage situation can go on upto 4 days,its not a new thing

US has supported the same terrorists to fight soviets,chechnya,bosnia etc..both by arming them and funding them.Well they were freedom fighters until 9/11 and now they are terrorists.
