Well apparently he is not a very devout Muslim to put his nationality before his religion. Muslims are not supposed to encourage or participate in the religious practices of others. They are supposed to stay neutral and not openly acknowledge them.

Kashmiris are majority muslims and prefer Pakistan more than India.India would have ethnicaly cleased all the muslim kashmiris if Pakistan didn't help them to fund and fight the indians.

Peace will never be a possibility in Kashmir until the extremists are taken out of the equation. All this talk of how Muslims are being slaughtered by the Indians is hogwash when actually it's the extremists doing the slaughtering by suicide bombing their own, and attackers taking refuge amongst the general population of innocent Muslims. Until the peace seeking Muslim population realizes this and turns against the indiscriminate killers amongst them that call themselves freedom fighters, there will be no peace in Kashmir. This will not be solved with terrorism.

Pakistan armed the afghans to fight the soviets for their own benefit too.Otherwise the soviets would have marched all the way to karachi killing every muslim.Pakistan thought its better off getting rid of the soviet problem in afghanistan before it reaches pakistan.US/CIA provided hi-tech stingers and RPGS,Pakistan only taught the afhgans on how and when to use them.
