I'm sorry, but I've never seen what you describe in Hinduism. Orange threads, yes. Red threads, yes. Threads worn like a sling under the shirt, yes. But not so many threads on one wrist that it looks like a strap.

Whatever it is, it is still too early to draw conclusions about anything. Hindus and Muslims have been fighting each other in this country for ages.

I was wondering when you would show up to defend the terrorists and praise them as glorious revolutionaries.

There's nothing hilarious about any of this. In 2001 there was near nuclear armageddon over 7 deaths in the parliamentary building.

How do you think India will respond when hundreds of Indians, several foreign friends and the main economic distric was attacked?

There is a mentality rising amongst Indians now. Enough is enough; all we want is peace, democracy and prosperity by business. These barbarians who seek to destroy that cannot be tolerated or excused any more.

The question is now, after the Prime Minister's statement, will India proceed with potential military action against Pakistan. Manmohan Singh (Indian Prime Minister) is pretty adamant with the words;

India would not tolerate "neighbours" who provide a haven to militants targeting it.

The BBC is reporting that a main railway station has been attacked. Have not heard that before, unless i missed it.

The last time in 2001-2002; an Indian minister went as far as to say "If attacked we can take a nuke or two from Pakistan, but when we retaliate there will be nothing left of Pakistan".

Yes india can take one or two nukes but Pakistan isn't dumb enough to just fire one or two nukes.

If ISI is the power of Pakistan, if ISI is the core of Pakistani polity, if ISI is supported by most Pakistanis, and if ISI was behind this attack; then India has no option but full out nuclear warfare.

British government is sending anti-terrorism police and "experts" to Mumbai to assist with British nationals - plus with operations too. More assistance will be provide to the Indian security forces.

How many 'terrorists' (in reality ISI or Pakistani Army special forces) are their in total?

I figure they split up into a dozen groups of 4 each which would mean 48 in total and would explain why they used the freighter as a base from which to assault the city.

i can see these wrists everyday, and they do collect them, and i will see more of those collections as i will go out for chai in a few minutes

the fighting stuff is also incorrect,

the fighting has started after the partition imposed by the brits, (divide to rule...)

although there have been a couple (but not more) of war in the last millenia, muslim and hindu were leaving peacefully next to each other for centuries until that #ing insane partition.

i fully agree to not draw any conclusions and i'm not aiming for that (and i have made this precision just before)

Sometimes I day-dream about it .. like I am in a soon-to-be hostage situation, and I've got a firearm on me, like maybe in my car but I rushed out at the first sound of gunfire to my car or whatever. Then, I day-dream about holding it in my hand in my hotel room pointing it at the door, which is unlocked, just waiting for the fools to open it, so I can blast as many of them as possible. When travelling within a country for vacation, this is entirely possible... what I mean is, if I legally own a gun, I can take it with me on a road trip to whever my destination is, so long as it is inside the USA, being that im a US citizen. In fact my ex-gf's father who works for the Government brought a pistol with him when we went on vacation to the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.

My only fear would be that I'd accidently kill a policeman or someone innocent trying to get into my room for whatever reason during the incident.

It's an act of war.

If this is the case, I hope India Blows the crap outa which ever dodgy little backward country they came from.

If they are domestic, then I hope the Indian Authorities hunt then all down & their families & wipe them out.

Eye for an eye. These [snip] don't give a toss if they kill a mother, a son, husband wife, then we should show them the same courtesy.

I agree,this is an act of war,but to say that you hope a whole country gets bombed is a little harsh. that's like saying you hope the whole of the USA/UK get's taken out for it's war in Iraq. When the majority vehimently oppose it.
