We need to do something about the banks stealing our money and the government not doing anything to stop them, actually enabling them and giving them the means to do so. There are criminals in our government that need to be in prison and no one is doing anything about it. They passed one bailout bill without our consent, actually quite the opposite, we all were furious! But after that what did we do? Nothing, no retaliation, maybe a few protests and angry letters to our congressmen. What's to stop them from going further?

Here's a quote from Naomi Wolf's book The End of America that might help you understand what I'm trying to say to you:

Torture doesn't get you better information, but the Bush team wants to be able to torture-and to let you know that torture takes place. Many critics have noted that illegal wiretapping doesn't speed intelligence gathering, but the Bush administration wants to eavesdrop on your calls and e-mails without a warrant-and to let you know there is such surveillance underway.
Why?

Why indeed. These tax breaks and bailouts are obviously not going to help the economy and the middle class or even the companies they're given to, but the banks and government want to be able to steal our money and blatantly let us know that they're stealing our money and that there's nothing we can do to stop them.

This is just another way for them to break our spirits! Like detaining and torturing prisoners or surveilling citizens. Stifle dissent, make us think there's nothing we can do so that we will be docile and easily silenced as they take not only our money and freedom, but our dignity as Americans.

Write whatever you want in response, what do you think??

I want to know what I can do to stop these people.

Please answer yes or no to the following.

1. Did we or did we not just have an election?
2. Did you vote?
3. If yes to #2, did you take a list with you of the reps. from the House of Reps. and the Senate who voted "For" the final bailout package that was passed?
4. If yes to #3, did you vote for their opponent?
5. If yes to #2, #3 and #4 do you plan to do the same in 2010?

If you answered No to any questions from 2 through 5, then why are you complaining? A way to hold these men and women in government as responsible was available for you and every other red-blooded American and you didn't do anything about it!

If you said Yes to questions 2 through 5, like I did, then I applaud you!!!But I ask, what more would you like to be done?

By the way, remember that America did just vote in Obama and he did vote FOR the bailout package.

So who wants to start?
Who wants to make some youtube videos? They can't be rants or sound paranoid they have to be well thought out and backed up with facts and they have to contain something that will get our message across about what we are willing to do if things don't stop.

Fox News headquarters is in NYC right? Who lives near enough to go down there? I live a 2 hour train ride away and have family that I can stay with. I'm willing to go down there. To tell you the truth I'm willing to actually interrupt a live broadcast whatever it takes, hold a sign in front of the camera. I'm willing to get arrested. I'm young I'll probably get off with a fine and end up on some list somewhere but i'll do it.

I hope you realize how serious i am about this.

If you answered No to any questions from 2 through 5, then you have no right to complain, because a perfectly reasonable avenue of consequence was available for you and every other red-blooded American. If you said Yes to those, like I did, then I applaud you. What more do you expect to be done?

With all due respect sir...I disagree. Some think we were screwed either way...including me. To vote for the lesser of two evils is not a way to choose a President. People could have voted for a third party candidate but they had no chance of winning because they didn't get the media coverage.

Our government as a whole is screwing the very people they are supposed to serve. People were strongly opposed to the first bailout but it passed anyway and they still continue to happen. One man wouldn't have changed this. McCain voted for the first bailout anyway!

More can be done...but a majority of people are still working and still making ends meet. When that changes..we will see other changes. As long as people are working they won't do anything mostly because they couldn't afford to do it anyway.

I'm just not into the political party garbage anymore. It pits us against each other when we should be criticizing our government as a whole...not just one part of it.

I've always been against the "If you didn't vote you can't complain bit as well." If the choices suck then it shouldn't matter. Voting for someone you HATE LESS is hardly a confident vote and doesn't give anyone a right to complain any more or less.

Well, I guess for starters people can start looking into the TRUTH (not what you were told) of past successful revolutions... like what our forefathers did; what gandhi did; etc.. and learn what passive agression is and what it is not (because there is a major misconception of what that really entails).

Some of the things that are being suggested on this thread have already and are being tried and it is said that the insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.

Thus far, the only TRULY successful revolutions have been done passive agressively, including the one that brought about this country, so it boggles my mind that people are refusing to acknowledge this and continuing to try and cheer each other and theirselves on in methods that have failed consistently.

Free yourself FIRST and then you can teach others how to free themselves. I am giving you gold here, but per usual, most tend to ignore the truly effective ideas because they don't have immediate long range results. *shrugs*

exactly... Didn't this guy watch the movie JFK?

If voting for a president made a difference, it would be illegal... Or in a JFK's case... an assassination would take place.

Who wants to compose an manifesto and post it on a website so Shocka can hold up a sign outside Fox News with the Website address.

I don't think we need a march on Washington, although that would be ideal. First we need some cells around the country with effective strategies to get this in the MSM. Small groups of 10-20 with airtime can be just as effective as a group of 50,000+ with no exposure.

OK for those of you who are serious, a few events in NYC:

On Dec. 18 HENRY PAULSON will be at 1395 Lexington Avenue on 92nd ST. at 8:00 pm

That sounds like fun.

On Dec. 3 NBC will be having a live broadcast in Rockefeller Center for a Christmas special 7:00 pm

Good opportunity to get some air time!

Bill O'Reilly will be at Barnes & Noble at Smith Haven Mall at 7:00 pm

Wrist bands are required but I can probably get them sent to me, if you want to go tell me.

I'm sending an email to Lou Dobbs

This is what he says on his website.

I started this website to provide my viewers and my readers with a place where they can get the facts on the most important issues facing all of us. To be well-informed is to be well-prepared. It’s also about how you and I can make a difference. We need to start somewhere. Let’s do it here. Send me an email

I'm also compiling email addrerss of all the economists that sent a letter to congress outlining the reasons the bailout is a BAD idea. I hope anyone of these economists will reply with useful ideas on how to approach this as a mere pawn in the PTB money game.

I wasn't really talking the office of POTUS as much as I was talking about our Reps and Senators. Question is, who is pulling their strings - the guys who contribute most to their campaigns like George Soros? I'm not well versed enough in politics to know how it works beyond the basic levels.

I dunno man. I'm not sure exactly how it works..but it's probably not the way it was meant to.

It's kinda like the Bailout bill after it failed the house. It came back to them with a bunch of garbage...just things politicians wanted with another issue to help pay back guys who contributed to their campaign. They essentially SOLD their own vote or traded it. Well i don't like this....but i'll vote on it if you vote on something i want or add something i want.

Aren't these guys supposed to be principles based or voicing for the people? How can they do this? It just doesn't seem justifiable to me. This is just one thing i noticed.

Again, i'm no genius on how it all works this is just what i've seen in the last few months as i had never been an avid news watcher.

I like watching Neil Cavuto and Lou Dobbs. They blast politicians all the time. I recall Dobbs calling them all jackasses one day. Kinda crazy to here someone on tv say that about the government. I actually started laughing when he said that.

Watch this vid of Cavuto. He makes this congressman look like an ass.

I can also see why people like RP. He's straight to the point, honest, and pretty damn smart.

Plus, it is money that does not exist. They are just printing money.

Why didn't we sell some of our gold off and also collect some money from Iraq?

Sell some of our gold? What gold are you talking about? The gold FDR confiscated in 1933?If that's it your to late he gave it to the federal reserve bank. The Rothchilds have a special place in thier little hearts for gold especially if it's ours.
