We need to do something about the banks stealing our money and the government not doing anything to stop them, actually enabling them and giving them the means to do so. There are criminals in our government that need to be in prison and no one is doing anything about it. They passed one bailout bill without our consent, actually quite the opposite, we all were furious! But after that what did we do? Nothing, no retaliation, maybe a few protests and angry letters to our congressmen. What's to stop them from going further?
Here's a quote from Naomi Wolf's book The End of America that might help you understand what I'm trying to say to you:
Torture doesn't get you better information, but the Bush team wants to be able to torture-and to let you know that torture takes place. Many critics have noted that illegal wiretapping doesn't speed intelligence gathering, but the Bush administration wants to eavesdrop on your calls and e-mails without a warrant-and to let you know there is such surveillance underway.
Why?
Why indeed. These tax breaks and bailouts are obviously not going to help the economy and the middle class or even the companies they're given to, but the banks and government want to be able to steal our money and blatantly let us know that they're stealing our money and that there's nothing we can do to stop them.
This is just another way for them to break our spirits! Like detaining and torturing prisoners or surveilling citizens. Stifle dissent, make us think there's nothing we can do so that we will be docile and easily silenced as they take not only our money and freedom, but our dignity as Americans.
Write whatever you want in response, what do you think??
I want to know what I can do to stop these people.

Please answer yes or no to the following.
1. Did we or did we not just have an election?
2. Did you vote?
3. If yes to #2, did you take a list with you of the reps. from the House of Reps. and the Senate who voted "For" the final bailout package that was passed?
4. If yes to #3, did you vote for their opponent?
5. If yes to #2, #3 and #4 do you plan to do the same in 2010?
If you answered No to any questions from 2 through 5, then why are you complaining? A way to hold these men and women in government as responsible was available for you and every other red-blooded American and you didn't do anything about it!
If you said Yes to questions 2 through 5, like I did, then I applaud you!!!But I ask, what more would you like to be done?
By the way, remember that America did just vote in Obama and he did vote FOR the bailout package.
If you answered No to any questions from 2 through 5, then you have no right to complain, because a perfectly reasonable avenue of consequence was available for you and every other red-blooded American. If you said Yes to those, like I did, then I applaud you. What more do you expect to be done?

I started this website to provide my viewers and my readers with a place where they can get the facts on the most important issues facing all of us. To be well-informed is to be well-prepared. It’s also about how you and I can make a difference. We need to start somewhere. Let’s do it here. Send me an email

With all due respect sir...I disagree. Some think we were screwed either way...including me. To vote for the lesser of two evils is not a way to choose a President. People could have voted for a third party candidate but they had no chance of winning because they didn't get the media coverage.
Our government as a whole is screwing the very people they are supposed to serve. People were strongly opposed to the first bailout but it passed anyway and they still continue to happen. One man wouldn't have changed this. McCain voted for the first bailout anyway!
More can be done...but a majority of people are still working and still making ends meet. When that changes..we will see other changes. As long as people are working they won't do anything mostly because they couldn't afford to do it anyway.
I'm just not into the political party garbage anymore. It pits us against each other when we should be criticizing our government as a whole...not just one part of it.
I've always been against the "If you didn't vote you can't complain bit as well." If the choices suck then it shouldn't matter. Voting for someone you HATE LESS is hardly a confident vote and doesn't give anyone a right to complain any more or less.
Question is, who is pulling their strings - the guys who contribute most to their campaigns like George Soros? I'm not well versed enough in politics to know how it works beyond the basic levels.

What really freaks me out about this is how they are giving the institutions the money but not overseeing how it is being spent. It is insane.
Plus, it is money that does not exist. They are just printing money.
Why didn't we sell some of our gold off and also collect some money from Iraq?
