The only reason I would not vote for Obama is I feel he will likely be assasinated his first 2 weeks in office (no imput or knowledge here) and that it would be a vote wasted because of that. That's the only reason.

I *like* Obama.
But-why go to the box if he's both going to win anyways AND won't last the term.

I'd like to see him last 2 terms just to see how he is going to compliment the work of the prior presidents.

*personally* I am for a parliment system with a complimenting traditional monarchy icon.

But. I'm here so.

Why would you try to tell me who to vote for in the first place? Who we vote for is none of your business

When did I tell you who to vote for? I must have missed that...

I am one to get " feelings about people. Never once have my feelings been wrong. I just don't think he is the change everyone thinks he is going to be. I actually get a slightly uneasy feeling as if hes a narcissist. I will not be voting for obama, and I dont want to vote for McCain either. Atleast McCain doesn't give me that uneasy feeling. I know he will be corrupt as most presidents become but, with Obama I feel it is just this huge risk and his power factor makes me uneasy, so my choice is McCain. I wish there was someone else I could vote for

Your point is valid, however the bottom line is America is sick of BUSH & Comp. All I am saying is that people are more mad at the GOP than their inadaquate understandings of Obama.

Doesn't that makes psychological sense?

I will not and would not vote for Obama because I believe he fully intends to turn this country into a full on socialistic welfare state.

Milking the working class and upper class of their hard earned dollars in order to reward a bunch of do nothing bottom feeders is socialism at it's worst.

It is unfair to those who earn their living, it is un-American to use the sweat off of the backs of hard working citizens in order to prop up an entire segment of the population who choose not to or refuse to do for themselves.

It is not only unfair but it is un-American and defies every great principal that this nation was founded upon. Barack Obama is a Karl Marx disciple in an expensive suit, he does a fine job of masking and disguising his true agenda with fancy rhetoric and rah rah speeches.

But make no mistake, he is the next great American disaster waiting to happen. Just my own personal opinion, which I will give freely while it is still within the law to do so.

Flame away if you wish.

You are correct that the public is sick of Bushco. But they are not intelligent enough to know that McCain is not a Bush follower; there's a reason for his nickname Maverick.

Obama.. the more we find out, the less we like him.

For supporting late term abortion. I am all about women's rights ony through the first trimester.

I can't see any reason late term abortion should be performed, unless the fetus can somehow kill a million people.

That's why I am neither a democrat nor a republican.

Both are two sides to the same big government big corporation coin.

The classical liberalism the republican party was founded on has long since died within that party.

my reasons for not voting for obama are simple. 1)lied and said he wasent in the cfr, whem its been proven that he indeed is connected to the cfr. 2) Zbigniew Zebrinski is his mentor and held a major part in his campign untill people started bringing it up.

I'm adding you to my friends list.

This is probably my main reason also. Partial birth abortion is horrible and hideous beyond comprehension. He would not want his daughters "punished" by a pregnancy; that shows his lack of dignity for life.

He also supports killing babies that survive abortion.

I would not be surprised if he supported euthanasia.:

I won't vote for Obama because...
He's a shill for the gov, he's a CFR kid.
Believes in "spreading the wealth" (that is a fact people, he's said more communistic things too though).
He's not naturally born in the US.
His people attended the last Bilderberg meeting held.
He also attended the Bohemian Club.
The people that support him are gullible sheep, falling for his rigga-ma-roll.

I won't vote for McCain because of those reasons either, also I bet my post will get edited or something like that because most of the Mods on ATS support Obama, because they're in on it too sadly, reason being, money is to be made.

Money is to be made? You realize many ATS mods do not live in America right?

Also, Obama is just as naturally born American as McCain is. Both skate on that edge. It is generally accepted that they both qualify though.

Has anyone really listened to how he words his speaches.

Emphesis on important words in he speaches, i feel , fools poeple into agreeing with what he is saying. They forget the words he said before, after, and throughout 90% of his senteces.

Allmost if he's trying to hypnotise or lecture a group of monkeys. Kinda talking down to us, like elitist mindgames.

Saying facts is easy, but he doesn't seem to tell me anything about what he actually believes in, and will do. To me this is very socialist, radical, marxist, and very scary. And what he has said is either typical "when I'm president" BS, or just crazy socialist talk.

He's like the witch giving Snow White an apple, is looks like a ripe red apple, but inside is green and poison.

He is a very, very smart man, but is easily munipulated by the people that surrond him. That makes him very dangerous for this country and a big part in not trusting him.

Sitting in a church for 20 yrs listening to Rev. Wright speak has to have some influence in your decision making. Please the man quoted and titled one of his books from Rev. Wright. Everything I've heared coming from those churches is very, very, racist and extremist. But thats another topic.

He, in my opinion, could very well favor blacks and minorities in his decison making, and could cause civil unrest, and most definatly a racial war. But that could happen even if he's not elected.

He does not understand the constitution. He and a controlled Democatic Washington, WILL rewrite the constitution any way they can or completely toss it.

I could go on an on, but speculation won't chang a thing. Not matter Who we choose to be president will be the wrong choice.
Its a lesser of two evils, Obama is EVIL, McCain is LESS EVIL.

Obama will collaps this counrty in so many ways, very quickly. McCain will collaps this counrty in many ways allso, but it won't take as long.. another 4 yrs of Bush crap.

I belive this election is about CHANCE, not CHANGE. Change scares me, change what, our diapers, no more change in my pocket, change your mind, what change. Atleast McCains "Counrty First" broadens the point.

This counrty may be broken, McCain won't fix it, Obama won't fix it, we the PEOPLE will fix it.

Yes. I have really listened to the words. I have seen each debate at about 3 times, and even read some transcripts.

So no. He has not hypnotized me, nor did I have a difficult time following his speech the first times I heard them.

Nor with McCain.

So I am either smart enough, not easily fooled, or just impervious to conversation hypnosis.

And I still think Obama is a much better choice then McCain.

I will be voting for Ron Paul.
