Your opinion- Were the U.S. to ACTUALLY leave this region to govern itself without intervention or intimidation, do you think that the problems would be quelled?

If so, tell me why. If not, tell me why. Don't just speak back to me what the media thinks about it, think it out and really explain to me why you think so or not so, and the logic behind it. Also don't just assume that they are animalistic robots that need to destroy all which is not them.

It might help if i try and expalin a little. I lost a family member In the London Bombings. It took quite a bit out of me.

I have since encountered radical Muslims in the UK, and other Muslims who show no remorse for these actions and actually look upon it as something of an achievement.

For these reasons i may come across too strongly sometimes.

But i make no apologies for my views,

Maybe Pakistan should actually POLICE THE #ING BORDER THAT THEY WERE PAID AN EXHORBITANT AMOUNT OF MONEY BY THE US TO DO. I'm sure the people on the ground there didn't know it was a school, because they don't have strip maps of Pakistan down to the last building and don't have analysts poring over those images to find out what's what.

Why? Because Pakistan itself is supposed to take care of it but doesn't. I could understand if Pakistan was like "No, we're not going to help you, America, and even if you give us this 10 million dollars we won't use it to shore up our border with Afghanistan". Then there would be some type of conversation to be had. But when they "Yes, we will help you and thank you for this obscene amount of money it's what we need and the border will be secure" and then DON'T secure it...that's a problem.

I'm a Muslim, and I do not support those radical actions. You may not have been looking in the right place, or the media has chose not to air the gatherings against it, but after the attacks, huge numbers of Muslims were condemning the attacks.

What those attackers did is not allowed in Islam.

I think the OP was about a School getting bombed and for what ever reson it happend , its wrong.
You say you live in Scotland and your are an english man, So you have must have had some hate thrown at you, the same way you are thrown it at Muslims now.

i do not feel that you are being truthful about your loss, if am am wrong then i hold my head in shame, as i to have lost my father (heart attack) and my sister who was aged 39 to breast cancer, i held her and my fathers hands as they died, i understand the pain of losing people i love, if it is true that you lost a family member in the bombings i suggest you research who was to blame, and yes call it conspiracy, look toward mi5, dont be blinded by your hate, all this however does not justify america dropping bombs on pakistan , it is almost an act of war against a nuclear power, where will it lead?

I don't think anyone is arguing there isn't Muslim extremists. There are. There are also Christian extremists.

Most Christians are not, same is said for Muslims. The reason they are called extremists to begin with is that their views are more extreme then others of that faith.

I am very sorry to hear about that, and I give my condolences. It must be very hard to get past that hate.

However-

I must tell you that if you don't, you are only going to spread the kind of hate that has brought the death of a family member to you. Instead of trying to destroy all which does not wholly agree with us, we should try and quell everything.

The real problem here is that our government is doing a lot of things that they don't tell us that is getting the middle east region angry at us. When people can't sleep at night without worrying about bombs hitting their homes, we really should realize that more acts of war are going to happen in retaliation.

The IRA were fighting for unification of their country not about religion.

These people use religion as a weapon,but the spread of extremist Islam is not their only reasons.Getting democracies to withdraw military forces from the territory that the terrorists view as their homeland is also a major factor.

And the country was unified,what the IRA were fighting for,originally,was Home Rule.The partition of Ireland came after their War of Independence and a civil war.
