Do any of you people even watch/listen to Glenn Beck? He doesn't support EITHER Obama or McCain. He's not a Democrat or a Republican. A lot of what he says makes sense, but some of you have on blinders and refuse to see things for what they really are.

Personally I don't think FOX will make Glenn Beck change. I think they want him because of how he is.

I tend to think of FOX, not so much as biased, more as being ratings whores. I think often they are just the TV equivalent of an Internet troll, and to them controversy is ratings. My opinion is that their talking heads tend to be more conservative because the right wing hosts are generally more entertaining and trollish, most left wing hosts tend to be dull boring intellectual types. Only a few like Olbermann on the left appears to have the entertrollment factor.

So, if the reason people tune in Beck is because he is partial to an NAU/NWO theory, I think FOX will push him to do even more!

I've noticed with Bill O Reilly lately, he is pandering to populists much more, and I think we will see more of this on FOX news. Populism, and a general anti-government feeling has been on the rise, with the calamities of Bush, the failure of the Democrats to strongly oppose bad policies, the credit crisis/bailout, and more. I think FOX will want to capitalize on this feeling.

You really don't get it, do you? O'Rielly is maintains a as neurtral a stance as he possibly can. He invites people to come on an defend their views. But he won't tolerat spin. Neither will I. If you want to waste my time trying to explain why we SHOULD give money to people who don't work, who don't produce anything, even though they are capable, then I'm going to get in your face. If you can honestly tell me why the government should take care of social parasites, I will listen, then attempt to refute your arguement.
I agree that he comes across as arrogant quite often, but that's his schtick. If I were doing the show, I might come across as being extremely humble. Until I cut you off at the knees.

"Fair and balanced" Fox news seems to be getting way too right-wing conservative Republican for my taste. I enjoy watching Glenn Beck's show, although I usually don't watch it on CNN. But if you really look at all FOX news has to offer, it seems that they definately do lean to the conservative republican side on nearly everything.

I usually lean to the conservative side when it comes to social issues, democrat side on most political issues.. But I do like the idea of hearing a Democrat's view of the isues without being instantly attacked while trying to answer questions being asked of them by Fox hosts. I've seen it so many times that I can't even watch Fox anymore. It just makes me sick.. How many times has Fox news been discovered using NLP now? I can't even keep track anymore. I've already been boycotting CNN for showing U.S. Soldiers being shot and blown up in Iraq a couple years ago. Fox has been on my list for a couple months now.

Glenn Beck is a great commentator, I like his style. It is hilarious that people flame Fox News and it's staff, yet they provide nothing to support their comments. No rational person takes those types of comments seriously, they just roll their eyes and move on. Glenn Beck is the 3rd most listened to talk radio station in a very competitive market. You have Savage, Levin, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, Schnitt, Miller etc. To be 3rd amongst the titans is a great accomplishment. It speaks volumes about his content, entertainment and opinions. He is respectable, and deserves better than the garbage that is posted against him. I am very happy that he is moving to Fox News, I believe he will reach a larger audience and be more influential to the people in this country that still believe in the greatness of America. I am concerned about the Fairness Doctrine, but talk radio can still exist, it may just have to be broadcast through satellite instead of the airwaves.

All i have ever got from watching him,is,i see a confused and angry person...which is fine and good, but, when your going to fingerpoint things, but have NEVER had a simple/solid/straightforward explination of your own, than it gets kind of redundant watching the man...He always knows whats wrong, but, when it comes how to make it right,he will reach from ANY spectrum of the world, from dictatorship to socialist,he will argue for/against both in a breath i feel...People are confused, but, watching yet another confused blabbermouth has never seemed like a way to "solve" things...

Right... like any conservative watches CNN. He's going to a place where he'll get better ratings and have a more friendly audience.

Yeah... I can see the conspiracy there. Must be Obama.

(Love how he blamed Obama. He must be God since he is responsible for everything bad that happens to you people.) Crazy people...

Haven't you heard yet? Obama is the messiah, you watch your mouth.

CNN may become the new BET and Fox the all white network........

I promise you over the next few weeks all the ABC, CBS, NBC, OMSNBC, execs will be searching for african-american faces for thier prime spots.......

Isn't that the biggest complaint of all the other commentators? They give their own ideas on how to fix things and Glenn does what they should be doing. Telling us whats happening and asking us to look into it. He gives us the breakdown on the situation and lets us decide how we feel about it. He does tell us, most of the time, how he feels about it but leaves it up to us to figure out the remedy. Thats what News Readers where originaly set up to do!! Not pointificate how everybody 'SHOULD' feel and think about the matter at hand!

Because of course no one would ever hire a lowly African American because they think that they are the right candidate for the job. We should, NAY WE MUST, keep the glorious Caucasians upon the gleaming facade of our news networks.

Helios, I'm beginning to think you may actually believe some of the absurd things that you post.

You miss my point.the newly PC networks are in a rush to change faces to appear to be part of the movement, rather than a reacting whore following the movement. If these new faces are available, why aren't they on the air NOW?

I stopped watching CNN because they are so one sided for Obama, They always say how wonderful he is and how terrible McCain is. Now, I am an undecided voter. But I want to hear it straight about both sides, CNN doesn't give me that! The only person who talked honest about things was Glen Beck. CNN made a huge mistake, but I am glad for that because now I am a loyal Fox News watcher so now I get to watch him again.
Thank You CNN!

I don't mind seeing a right-wing leaning person on TV or in print, as long as he or she is smart and makes sense. Glen is/does not. The only thing he manages to convey well is that he's really full of himself. All I can say "good riddance" to CNN, he's not qualified to work there.

YAH-HOOOO!! I cannot stand that gasbag and never understood why CNN would cheapen their brandname and reputation by giving him any time at all, muchless during prime viewing hours. He belongs with the rest of the extreme right, xenophobic and thakfully increasingly irrelevant nutjubs that pretend they are representing the truth with facts to back it up.

This is a totally knee jerk reaction by a someone who does not know the person in question. This is what liberals do anytime the word FOX is uttered.

Beck in not a right wing mouthpiece, you just assumed he was because FOX was in the post.

This kid of mindless bandwagon hatred needs to stop.
Seriously Beck is an equal opportunity loon.
