For those that think CNN is left wing, haven't watched Lou Dobbs or Campbell Brown recently.

Didn't you see? She's already been mentioned once in this thread...

Campbell Brown comes to mind another CNN leftist. And they actually gave her a spot titled no bias no bull........ Please

...sooooo yeah.

I'm also guessing PS hasnt watched her lately. She's been reporting quite a few unflattering facts about both campaigns.

As for people thinking Beck is right wing... he's always admitted to being a conservative commentator. It also took him 7 years to stop giving Bush the bennefit of the doubt. I'll give him respect for finally waking up on that one. He held out for quite awhile; however, I think it's a case of better late then never. Bush isn't really a conservative when it comes to smaller government, responsible spending, states rights, and the list goes on. It took some people quite awhile to figure that one out, and amazingly others still havn't.

The problem with his show is that it is unfactual and underresearched to the point of negating any truth he speaks. He makes so many basic reporting mistakes and repeats so much unsubstatiated gossip that he obviously is reiterating stories he finds on the Internet and may not even read them completely, depending on how much of his show is scripted. Notice he cannot logically defend his statements or ask objective questions. After he botched reporting on the Chris Benoit murder-suicide, I stopped watching him and his shows I've seen since then have not disproved that belief at all. As a former news employee I am sorry to say that he personifies why the media is failing though it is a sad statement that Americans are so desperate for affirmation that people like Beck and Stephen Colbert can be passed off as journalists when they are nothing but comedians reading scripts. You would never have seen this nonsense back in the Cronkite era.

Dobbs discusses it somewhat covertly. I'm sure Glenn will continue talking about it on Fox but because he'll be on Fox all those who listened to what he was saying on HN will immediately dismiss the same message just because it's on Fox. People are stupid and fickle like that.

That explains why Beck has been pushing the martial law angle he's looking to bring in new viewers to faux news.He has not really woken up,y'all he's just using the current econnomic news to boast his ratings.

If you realy knew what Glenn talks about and for how long he has been warning us of the problems we are seeing before our eyes, you'd know how foolish your comments on Beck are! His leaving the Communist News Network is fodder for those liberals who can't stand thats someone who doesn't toe the line on liberal talking points is moving on to better pastures. I'm glad he will continue to be a thorn in the sides of those who want the Socialists to take over our government.

Now go back to his numbers before CNN nuked him by changing Lou Dobbs to the same time slot? Glenn was having too much effect on Obama's rise to godhood................

You said he had "very good ratings." Now you're now admitting he doesn't have great ratings.

You said "Recently Glenn has been pounding Obama." Yet now you're saying this is part of some year-long plan to get rid of Beck by CNN who moved Dobbs to the same time slot a year ago.

So which is it? Does it have great ratings and was canceled because he recently started called Obama a socialst? Or is it that he has terrible ratings because CNN wanted to can him and took a year to do it?

I'm from Canada, so I find it pretty sad that people who have chosen to join a site such as ATS are watching either CNN OR Fox.

MSM is MSM is MSM.

There's a "two-party" media system in place for a reason, you know. What better way to fuel all this partisan nonsense. The evidence has been posted several times throughout the thread.

Come on, people.

I actually heard Beck mention his move from CNN to Fox either this morning or yesterday. One of the reasons he mentioned was that he didn't want to be the only conservative on CNN. Another reason he mentioned was "strength in numbers' if/when Obama is elected and the likelihood of a return of the "Fairness Doctrine".

I do listen to talk radio occasionally, usually when NPR is talking about something I could care less about or on one of their begging campaigns through the day mostly. Unfortunately, there isn't any market for left leaning talk radio in my part of the country, and from what little I've heard of Air America I understand why.

Good! I don't know which is worse, a lying journalist or a delusional one. Faux News is right down his blind alley.

I wondered what happened to Beck. I had the show set to TIVO and when I start it up, I get some chick I never heard of.
I happen to like the man. He says some stuff that is pretty scary sometimes, but forewarned is forearmed. I'm not surprised they took him off now, just before the election. They probably felt he was swaying to many Obamaites to vote for the other guy.
I figure this means time is short for Lou Dobbs as well. I just can't figure out where they will put him, unless he goes to Fox Business. (Just as long as they don't cancel Dave Ramsey)
Dobbs is highly critical of the government in general, and extremely critical of Obama's socialist stand.
Dobbs also railed against the bailout and the incompetency of the government(the entire government, not just Bush) for letting it get this far.
