Hey Dave, I have a quick question. Are you going to compile the results for any reason? It might be a fun and interesting study such as do ATS'ers think alike? Or do we really have a diverse forum here. It was just a thought.

As you were....

Some of you people really need to get in touch with your romantic self.

I know it's tough to watch if there isn't somebody's head blowing up or a car falling on somebody, but romance is good for the soul.

It's great and fascinating to find out which movies you guys around here prefer [I'm from the Midwest, so "guys" is an all-inclusive, gender-neutral noun here].

But weren't we asked to just list our 'TOP' [i.e. ONE] movie in each genre? Some of you guys are listing 2 and 3 movies for each one! Now, I'm not trying to be a cop or a mod, but part of the cool thing about this exercise is it forced, well, some of us to whittle down each genre list to just ONE favorite.

I, like many, could fill a thread with my favoriteS.

By the way, for the added 'Western' category, could I use 'Serenity'? Or am I just trying to slip in a second SciFi? Otherwise, I'll go with 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford'.

I believe Johnny would say I have created a SIDEBAR.
