2. True love (seems a few list this)
3. Get as close to flying as I can
4. Achieve, for want of a better word, "enlightenment"

Female
Age(less)
Believe in God but not religion.

Not in any particular order......

1. Trace my family tree back as far as I can (mid 1700s at the moment)

2. Then visit all the various ancestral places

3. Join a medieval re-enactment group

4. Go skydiving over Ayers Rock (Ularu)

5. See ZZTop LIVE before THEY kick the bucket!

6. Write a screen play for a mystery/thriller.

7. See another UFO (saw one briefly back in the 70s)

8. Definately meet an alien if not, then Keanu Reeves will suffice.

9. To find the wreck of the Montevideo Maru that was sunk during WW2 off the coast of Luzon (Phillipines) then return it's bell to a maritime museum to honour the 1,200 soldiers who perished on board, my uncle included.

Female
26
Life Partner
Straight
American
Lutheran/Baptist... but have other belifs as well... but the main constant is there is a God/Higher Power and Spirits.

My Bucket list...

1. To visit the UK, Wales, Scotland and Finland with my family.
2. Meet Paul McCartney
3. Swim with Dolphins
4. Confirmation of an alien species/humanoid life out there
5. To say I'm sorry to anyone I hurt in my life.
6. Stay in a renovated castle with friends and family.
7. Win the lottery and give the money to a local shelter or children's program.
8. To get married to my SO and not have to worry about SSI/DI crap.(We get married he loses his Disablity Benefits and he needs that more than I need to be married. Sides, we already said vows to each other between us and God, so we don't need a state certificate showing us were married... it'd just be fun to do. That and easier to say he's my husband instead of partner and confuse people, lol.

You know, that about covers it. Pretty much stuff that will never happen, but as long as I live my life, be happy, and have my family around me I'm all good.

Excellent thread Dave, by JOVE you've done it again!

male -50

I had a bucket list before I knew about the term "bucket list". It got pared down and restocked over time. I'm a very fortunate person (given that I survived all the previous incarnations of the list!)

1. Build a 30-foot (legal height limit here) rock and concrete tower on the beach for taking green flash photos and general introspection.

2. I've been working on a paper for more than 15 years, attempting to unify the constants "c" and "g"..... I'd like to find the proofs to substantiate that, if it can be done.

3. Build a brownian motion particle generator that put out more than fractions of an amp.

4. I want to teach again. Agriculture and farming, survival systems.

5. Orbit the Earth.

6. Interact in a balanced manner with an extraterrestrial (unless they're from HERE, in which case...... interact with THEM)

7. Swim with a dolphin or two. There was a wild dolphin -- Spot -- who was here for the better part of two years. He was thought to have come in here after a severe hurricane. I tried to find him, tried to get aboard dive boats, anything for the experience. Never happened.

8. Climb Dixon's Wall in Cayman Brac. ...... and live.

9. Have my Bride and I live long enough to be at that wonderful age when you can get away with ANYTHING (althought I suspect that even then, shelling the supply barge with a coconut trebuchet will still be off-limits
)

Following consensus format;
Male
54
Highly spiritual but not at all religious. (know too much)
Married since 80
Independent (pro-everyone)

First and foremost. Wake the hell up!
If I awaken I can enjoy anything I do and then go with grace.

In the long list I've had forever in any case,

* See the major mountain ranges of the world and hike them.

* See major deserts of the planet and hike them.

* Meet as many people as I can from aboriginal to tribal and simple cultures
see and learn from their beauty.

* Visit the ruins of the earliest civilizations, Mesoamerican, Asian, African, etc.

* See Earth from orbit.

* See Moon from Moon.

* See Mars from Mars.

* See another civilized world.

* See another dimension.

* About a million more lifetimes of experience.

* Walk out of the world into the next, and take all my loved family and friends.

Oh, and learn how to count from 1 to 10. (sry)

OK, big and very strange bucket, but if you don't ask......

ZG

My Bucket list:

10. Be content when I die [yes this would be a major accomplishment and want
]

9. Become truly un-self centered and non-judgemental against every human being whether poor, rich, or in between.

7. Fly the rivers of Alaska

6. Own a German Sheppard and a fat cat named Muffin.
Yes I'm serious.

being happy.

4. Discover the truth behind Alien's and Aids. [one of the few that believe it wasn't created from how they say it was]

3. Get my Pilots license, join the Air Force

2. Own a nice piece of land in the counrty, hard wood floors, computer, stables and horses where the sun shines through the window of my room every morning... reminding me of the beauty in the world.

1. Find my place in the world - and help others do the same

Absolutely love the country, and I love helping people even though sometimes I don't act it.... thats why that makes my bucket list. Become who I know I am -- instead of being who I've become.
