I'm praying McCain wins or Obama may tax my family, quite literally, into bankruptcy!

You must be very wealthy then....

MCCAIN OBAMA
Income Avg. tax bill Avg. tax bill
Over $2.9M -$269,364 +$701,885
$603K and up -$45,361 +$115,974
$227K-$603K -$7,871 +$12
$161K-$227K -$4,380 -$2,789
$112K-$161K -$2,614 -$2,204
$66K-$112K -$1,009 -$1,290
$38K-$66K -$319 -$1,042
$19K-$38K -$113 -$892
Under $19K -$19 -$567

Taxing you to the poorhouse, huh???

homosexual socialist

How the hell did this thread go from
'the polls are wrong - McCain is winning - and here's why'
(which I disagreed with)
to you talking about homosexuals?

VERY OFF TOPIC.

Oh .. and SHAME SHAME on those three people who starred this WRONG post - simply because it was an anti-FlyersFan post. (gee .. wonder who did that?

Do people not realize that it hardly matters who is "winning" 30 days out in ANY election???

Look at history for Pete's sake, it only matters who leads the polls on November 2nd.

If you don't support McCain and his insane followers than yes I am sorry if I misunderstood your posts

More crazy McCain rallies www.youtube.com...

These type of people need to lose big time in 2008. They are the diehard neocons that make up the 25% of the country that still support Bush.

So McCain is only winning in the neocon's fantasies.

McCain will win.

Keep in mind the media is doing the polling, the media is backing Obama, and as we know, the media lies.

Most of the polling is being done online, and guess what? Most of the people being polled are young....under 40-ish. The 40-80 year-old crowd doesn't hang around on-line. Many of them don't even have computers. And they will come out in droves and make sure McCain wins. Leave the cities and every other car has a McCain sticker. The only Obama stickers you see are in urban areas.

Wow, rabid republicans are funny. Obama will destroy Ameirca by... giving healthcare to every American and cutting taxes for 95% of Americans. Yeah, didn't make sense to me either.

Can you explain how Obama will introduce a trillion dollar entitlement program without raising taxes?

I mean, come on, math is still math right? The budget still is in deficit as we speak.

The "pollsters" are well aware of this, but the spinsters in the MSM don't care. They want Barack Hussein Obama as our next President.

If you need proof that they are aware of this, search "ACORN" in any search engine. ACORN is out there working hard for Obama. Gather up all ye homeless people, felons, and ignorants! Vote for Obama!

ACORN Fraud Attempts

Obama's ACORN voter fraud

Miami Herald

I hope the Miami Herald is "mainstream" enough. There are literally hundreds of blogs on this but due to ATS political trolling constraints, I will not cite them.

I'll tell you one thing...

people who truly are educated don't use appeal to ridicule and appeal to authority arguments to present their points.

Winfall tax on Oil Companies and ending Bush's tax cuts to the top 1% that helped cause this economic problem and ending Iraq. Ending Iraq alone will be 1.2trillion or more a year.

??? ARE YOU NUTS?

1. If you tax the oil companies they are going to PASS THAT OFF ON US, the consumer.
2. "Big Oil" has an 8.9% profit margin on their investments. The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT makes quadruple that from what we spend at the pump with NO investment.
3. "Bush's Tax cuts" created the greatest tax revenues in the history of this nation. The problem was NOT tax cuts, it was the SPENDING INCREASES.
4. "This problem" was caused by predatory lending to people that never should have been loaned money to begin with.
5. Iraq is ending, have you been watching the news? Troops are coming home.

I'm not arguing for McCain but, isn't that the "American dream?"

I mean, I don't know about you but my goal is to progress every year not stay at the same place.
Should I be punished for wanting to be successful?
Should I stay at a certain level just so me and my family won't be taxed to kingdom come?

Again, not arguing for McCain but Obama's tax plan really bothers me. I mean, why? I can understand lowering their tax cut but actually raising it?

Anyway, as far as the OP -
Obama's winning.
I do think it may be closer than the polls are showing (and within the margin of error) but I still think he's (Obama) a bit in the lead right now. Still a ways to go and anything could happen though.

Do you any time in the foreseeable future see yourself making over $250,000 a year???

If you do, you are doing alright, and need not worry about paying a little higher tax rate.

How you figure? Clinton wasn't a fan favorite but when Bush stepped in. Gas was under a dollar a gallon, the budget was balanced and a vast majority of the world like the US. Bush came in, Screwed up the budget that was great 8 and half years ago. we're paying $3 plus for gas, and now The world wants us gone as worse than Muslims hate the Jews. McCain co-signed damn near everything Bush proposed so you don't think Obama will do this country and this planet some good??!? You are nuts if you think McCain isn't gonna keep up the ludicrous Bush policies and continue driving us backwards. Kill Yourself.
