Seriously? Do I really need to repost it a 3rd time? The opening sentence blaming dems and indies for what you THINK THEY WILL USE THIS FOR AND DO ABOUT IT??????????????????????????????

That is blaming and demonizing everyone NOT republican off the bat. I could care less what you are, that is not insulting. Your statement about Independants and Democrats, as well as your use of words in general, is what I find insulting.

Now seriously, If you are an adult male product of the US educational system and cannot even pretend you see the sentence in question that you wrote so poorly, then you need to prove to us that you are an adult male

Maybe if I do it more slowly and one at a time. What do you mean by claiming Independants and Democrats will use this for evil? How is that not blaming them? Demonizing them? Setting yourself as a Christian Republican apart from them?

I know there are many Democrats and Independents that use this forum who probably hate me for what political party I'm with.

Compare the sentences. I didn't say that they would use this forum for hate. I stated that there are many Democrats and Independents that use this forum WHO probably hate me for what political party I'm with.

And....you dont see the problem? You do not see how that is immediately going to cause a rift? How about I come over for dinner, I walk in saying, I am a gay, gun hating, veagan, democrat, liberal, satanist, and I know republicans are going to use that to disparage me but here I am.

Would that not rock the boat a little? Even if your home was the most welcoming on the planet, I would hope that they would at least be a little put off that I already told them how they would react to me.

It was not a critique. If you claim you are a college educated 19 year old English speaking American male, then statemenst that truly belie every bit of that should be as questionable as anything else the OP has stated.

I assure you that I do not hate you although I also do not subscribe to any political party. Fact is, I do not know you.

Unfornately there can be no one correct view on this war because it isn't, as I said, BLACK AND WHITE.

There were reasons for going that according to international law are justified, but there are reasons it was pushed for that are not justified. Uniting is a fine ideal, but when looking at reality, one has to realize it will be unlikely because in order to do so, one point of view must be agreed upon and conformed to by all and let's face it, I don't want to be a Christian anymore than you don't want to look at the reality of our world.

I think your desire is noble, but just not plausible unless the world is willing to conform to my views because I am unlikely to conform myself to anyone else's views

TOPIC-Begun by the OP

CONSPIRACY TO SPLIT UP THE US

Opens with the statement that Democrats and Independants will misuse this for evil. Very much applies to the topic. I suggest that if people do not want issues in their opening statements discussed, they do not make any.

Dan, I have been watching this thread and I am shaking my head. I think that what you are saying is that we need to come together as a country and get past the BS of Washington. This is a positive notion. It needs to be explored and discussed. However, the fact that you believe in Creationism, and the mere possibility that you don't understand innocent cilvilians have died in Iraq and Afghanistan (just last week we killed 85 in a wedding party), is astonishing. To come here and believe you have an argument, well, I'm sorry, this is just sad. Read up- not propaganda, not lies, FACTS. They suit you in a discussion.

You really do sound like someone that has been fed a load of propoganda all his life and has never dared to question it. Do you watch and believe Fox News by any chance? I think your intention may be noble but your opening statement does come across as judgemental of anyone not christian and republican. The misuse of common English words and claim of college education, along with saying that we are not killing innocent people really all adds together to say that you are either just saying things for fun or someone has done a great job of hiding the world from you. Now I am curious about this college because it seems at least there, if not the definition of "conspire" you should at least learn the costs of war. War is never a good guy/bad guy deal. There are no clear cut evil people and that is that. Every building that gets bombed on any side has at least one guy in that just changes the garbage cans. There are always innocent lives lost in war. That is why it is such a weighty decision and should not be entered into so lightly, nor cheered on as sport, or celebrated as a noble victory.

This pretty much ended the discussion before it began. Proof, logic, and truth to you will no doubt be discarded if they do not fit your view of the world.

Dude, that's pretty crass. It really doesn't matter how somebody thinks we got here, does it? How often does it come up in your daily life? The same people on this board that will bash creationism/God spout off about Nibiruu and Aliens visiting this planet. Lay off the dude. On the topic of the innocent civies daniel, Im sure that us American's aren't over there for oil, and we certainly are not killing civies on purpose. 90% of the civilian casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan are attritubted to sectarian violence/suicide bombers/roadside bombs.

among other things, the fact that you view the first reply as an attack or against the US is beyond sad, it was in point a statement along the lines of 'we all live on the same planet so nationalism or placing a country above others is wrong and childish while viewing all countries as equal because we are all on this earth together makes more sense' is what he was saying. the fact that you think you are better than someone from another country just because you are from said country is sad. (in my opinion) so is the fact that you believe people like bush and cheney. I can't believe you are actually 19 years old, your posts seem to be written by someone much younger. Again my opinion. Do you honestly think America is the greatest country? If you do I believe this shows your maturity level; as any person with their heart in the right place realises no country is above any other.
take care...

The U.S. don't kill innocent civilians.

Planet Earth is the only planet we live on, so it's senseless to say that it doesn't matter what country we live in.

Let me tell you something.

We've killed an excess of three MILLION innocent Iraqis. And WE'RE fighting the war on terror. We've lost about 5500 soldiers and 3047 people on 9/11.
That's under 10k casualties.

We should be the one's being shot at, our houses being burned to the ground. WE are the terrorists. Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11, WMDs etc.

God the Government top ten wanted doesn't even say Osama was responsible for 9/11. WTF?

Is this post for real or are you all playing a rpg? This country has been divided forever over whatever is the safest target to hate or feel better than. The fact that McCain picked a women says a lot. The fact that when the government made driving and accidents so much safer by Mandating we all where seatbelts, That opened my eyes. All the lives and money saved, did any of you get a rebate on your insurance? A 19 year old OP, please, get out in the real world, see how real people live, and you will see that this country is always being divided, and it doesn't take belonging to a group to do it. All you have to do is be born...be born a non-white male. This world is still run by White Males....Period. and they laugh at the rest of us especially women like Martha Stewart who try to be equal. Wake up OP - Wake UP. And the rest of you please, if you are going to start a role playing game let the rest of us know so we can decide to join you in your fantasy.

just a quick serch on the internet i found these

and face it they are over theyre killing innocent people aswell

heres some info on the killings you mentioned 7 of 8 were aquited of charges

Of the eight marines accused, six had all charges against them dropped, and a seventh - Lt Andrew Grayson - was acquitted after facing a court martial.

Only one marine - Sgt Frank Wuterich - still faces charges in relation to the incident.

Sgt Wuterich will be tried on nine counts of voluntary manslaughter later this year.

It actually came out that insurgents were in the 3 homes involved and even had there own video of part of the fire fight. Now there does seem to be some contention on exactly what the sergeant did on entering 1 residence. But I will say that people can get into that kill anything that moves in a fire fight and it is hard to not see every thing as a threat. I saw it in training exercises even. And then there's just some people who are nuts. You cant judge the entire military on the actions of a few. I was in Iraq and I protected Iraqis on more than one occasion.
There were insurgents trying to kill people in there homes. I personally had to chase down a person driving thru a neighborhood shooting at any thing that moved. We were very proud of the fact these 2 died before making it to a playground with families there trying to let there kids play because they knew we had patrols in the area. But according to you I guess I should have just watched and decided to head back for dinner huh? Don’t even try to assume you know anything about iraq unless you see what there going thru. Ive had to escort people to the store because I was in the area and they were scared of coming out of there house for fear that an insurgent would kill them. Ive chased down vehicles running people over on the street. Ive had friends die at roadblocks trying to protect neighborhoods. Don’t believe everything you read in the news they have an agenda.
