I think the American people are smart enough to know that Bush isn't running and that McCain has been a thorn in Bush's side for the past 7 years.

I think the American people are also smart enough to know that Pelosi and Reid will be in complete control if Obama wins.

As much as Bush sucks, it looks like the democrat congress is even suckier.

I think the reasoning behind saying it is an insult to women is the fact that she was pulled out from underneath the hat seemingly from nowhere in an attempt to get the disgruntled Hillary supporters.

Thats not reason, that is an assumption coupled with an attributed motivation.

This would make anyone with any reasoning skills whatsoever ask........does he think women are so stupid that they are gonna vote for him just because he threw a woman on the ticket???

You seem to want to assume the only reason Mccain would have picked a woman is in order to pander to woman voters. But doesnt that say more about your preconception of Mccain than about his reasoning in picking Palin?

It seems fairly transparent , especially when there are more experienced females and males out there in the republican pool to have picked from.

He already has experience, why would John Mccain, of all people, NEED to add any experience to his ticket? Isnt the assumption that Mccain picked Palin becuase she is a woman evidence of prejudice in itself, in that it immediately discounts any non pandering reasons? Like I have said before, the general liberal response to the palin announcement is positively orwellian.

experience didn't help hillary either, so the idea this person has to have oodles of experience is a misnomer. can someone refresh my memory why hillary didn't make it?

Because a certain demographic is allowed to be racist and decided to vote 90% for the person that shared a common skin color.

PALIN has extensive GOVERNING EXPERIENCE and a masterful grasp on FOREIGN POLICY!

Well, personally, Id say she has some governing experience and a little foreign policy experience. But then Id say the same thing about Obama. But then Palin isnt running for president. But then Obama isnt running for Vice president. But then if Palin isnt qualified to be VP, how is Obama who is is barely more experienced, if at all, is qualified to be president???

Hillary was the wife of the first "black" president.

One would think that the Clintons have had a real history of helping the black community.

Obviously issues don't matter if a man with near zero experience can take the entire vote from a person who actually has done something just because of a commonality of skin color.

As for why Hillary was not picked as VP, it's just another reason why Obama is an idiot.

i don't think he's an idiot but there has to be a reason given for why he decided not to choose her. i thought perhaps it was because among muslims and some kkk folks, she was called the whore of babylon and that would make him the antichrist if she were on the same ticket.
a pr move. but that was only me guessing. i'd like to know what he actually gave as a reason or his party gave as a reason, for the decision. is it a head scratcher for everyone?

I can I possibly get my will unenacted? Deenacted? BTW what does it mean that my will has being enacted? Its bad right?

Ya wait until NOVEMBER...

No,,,, it won't be bad anymore once BARRACK OBAMA is elected as president of the united states.

It surely is a head-scratcher.

An Obama-Hillary ticket would have been unstoppable. I have no clue why Hillary was not picked. Ideologically, they are almost the same.

"What has Governor Palin done?"

She took on corruption within her own party in Alaska.

www.weeklystandard.com...

The wipeout in the 2006 election left Republicans in such a state of dejection that they've overlooked the one shining victory in which a Republican star was born. The triumph came in Alaska where Sarah Palin, a politician of eye-popping integrity, was elected governor. She is now the most popular governor in America, with an approval rating in the 90s, and probably the most popular public official in any state.

Her rise is a great (and rare) story of how adherence to principle--especially to transparency and accountability in government--can produce political success. And by the way, Palin is a conservative who only last month vetoed 13 percent of the state's proposed budget for capital projects. The cuts, the Anchorage Daily News said, "may be the biggest single-year line-item veto total in state history."

The biggest issue in the campaign was the proposed natural gas pipeline from the North Slope that's crucial to the state's economy. Murkowski had made a deal with the three big oil companies--Exxon, BP, ConocoPhillips--which own the gas reserves to build the pipeline. But the legislature turned it down and Palin promised to create competition for the pipeline contract.

Her first major achievement as governor was lopsided passage by the legislature of the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act, which is designed to attract pipeline proposals this summer. The state is offering $500 million in incentives, but the developer must meet strict requirements. The oil companies have said they won't join the competition.

This stuff is pretty easy to find for yourself. Palin has more integrity than Obama, or even McCain. Those who think this lady will be a push over obviously haven't done their homework.

There is a reason Palin has this reception and I'll say it straight up...

Taxes for the rich (which includes my bracket and i'm not rich)

My guns to be stripped from me

Money from those taxes sent to the third world

Capitulation with Islam

Changes to immigration laws

more monmey to the 3rd world while they breed like flies and My kids are encouraged to have abortions and taught about homosexuality

and the best...

Compulsory service huh?

All this while I can make no comment about anyone by law, but every day the media and to my face I hear racial remarks get stared at, get treated like $h17, my son taught in school his country was criminal, his race portrayed as weak and evil, told by a media that we can't dance, or sing or play ball...

A liberal my whole life I fought fo everyones rights and daily get smacked in the face

90% vote on an issue of race only

Compulsory service, take my guns, endorse abortion while feeding 3rd world people who have 10 babies each

and say out load "this is whitey" " i don't trust white people"

Not a word on the platform about marriage with an 80% divorce rate but the honeymoon is on if I go Gay... woooo hoo, no offer of money for moms, but abortions are right on!

Compulsory Service, peace with Islam... what the F&^$K!

What am I fooled by this BS?

Am I stupid?

This is my kids life?

Naw... no one cares about Palins 17 year old daughter having babies or her 5 kids or if she is Dominionist... Love her for it, carry that gun Sweetheart

I'll be g-d damned after a lifetime of being liberal and fighting for peoples rights I sit back and take this BS from the same people, I'm treated like # as a white man, complete role reversal I stood UP to see that crap stop and this is how my life will be ? This is the future of my kids?

No way, make those babies, ditch abortion, carry those guns,

Obama can go straight to hell, Compulsory service my arse
