Backing off? Its a little late for that. They've thoroughly embarassed the Palin family and her daughter with absolutely no evidence to back it up. Honestly, I hope that all of the sites pushing this unsubstantiated garbage get sued.

I think they backed off not because of the oddly interesting evidence, but because some people see it as attacking the teenage daughter.

Trig Palin was born April 18th, 2008. Here is Sarah, March 14th: Link to photo

Is it any wonder people are questioning this? Even if we completely disregard the rumors about it not being her child, the facts still remain that a woman in a high-risk pregnancy agree to fly across the continent one month before she was due. Her water breaks one month early. She still gives a speech, but decides not to go to a hospital. Instead, she makes a half day's journey, with 1 layover, to Anchorage. Then, in another mysterious judgment call, she decides not to go to a hospital there, but drives another 45 minutes to a small town hospital.

She put not onlyher, and her newborn baby into unnecessary risk. If she makes such a decision with her own life and her baby's life, what risks will she take for our soldiers? Our children? That's what disturbs me in this whole story. She is either a liar or a risk taker where lives are concerned.

So this story may disappear. But I will not forget that part of it when I'm at the voting booth.

Blogger Elizabeth Eubanks writes a blog called Polar Trec.

On April 28, 2008, Eubanks wrote about a chance meeting she had with Gov. Palin in the New Orleans airport. In her April 28 entry she describes Gov. Palin as being pregnant, and even posted a photo on her blog with Gov. Palin.

So unless you are inclined to believe that Ms. Eubanks is part of this alleged conspiracy to fake Gov. Palin being pregnant, I think it's safe to say this rumor has been laid to rest.

Another photo of a very pregnant Gov. Palin:

So you chastise Gov. Palin for being a "risk taker" with a human life for having her baby, but you are going to remember to vote for Obama who does more than risk the lives of babies.

Obama voted to make sure babies' lives could be snuffed out during late term abortions.

So who is it that REALLY values human life more? A man willing to have babies killed or a woman who gets on a plane while in labor?

I wonder if any of the people criticizing her are actually her family doctor? Did they examine Sarah Palin during her pregnancy? Did they give her advice on what activities she could partake in? Do they know what advice her doctor actually gave her? Or are they playing monday morning quarterback, criticizing the decisions of another when they themselves have no direct knowledge of Sarah Palin's situation besides what they saw on TV last night?

OMG! You've proven it! A 17 year old girl wearing a ring! Clearly proof that it is her kid and that she's secretly married (or something???)! No 17 year old girl ever wears a ring on her finger for decoration!

(Yes, that was sarcasm.)

I don't see what any of this has to do with Ron Paul.

You do realize that you come across as a total moron with posts like this, right?

Why isn't daddy holding the baby? Seriously, that might be in the top 10 stupidest comments I've seen on ATS.

No, Bristol is 5 months pregnant, Trig is 4 months old. They released the information about Bristol's pregnancy due to the rumors flying around about Trig in order to prove without a doubt that Bristol could not be the mother of Trig.

Whether or not it's true, and don't know if this has been posted yet, but her daughter is now confirmed as being pregnant

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced moments ago that her 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, is five months pregnant and is planning to keep the baby and marry the father.

Usually I am very facetious towards pathetic rumours like this, but I have to pour scorn on those who use a disable child as a political football

I disagree, where there is smoke there is fire. This is important because it tells us what kind of person the governor is. I really liked her initially, but now am very disappointed and her promises of being a faith inspired leader fall flat.

She has failed to educate her daughter in the most important aspects of life, how to control yourself, how to avoid pregnancy before the time is right, and chastity. She failed to teach her own daughter marriage before sex. She tells us she is a person of these virtues, but if she can not lead her family in these virtues, she can lead her nation either. It is an important discussion. Still looking for POTUS worthy person, still haven't found one _javascript:icon('

My theory:

Bristol Palin is not pregnent. She is still chubby from her first baby Trig.

Bristol is the mother of Trig, kept it secret by being out of school for several months with a coverup story of "mono".

Governor Palin orchestrated a elaborate ruse to make it appear she was pregnant, even wearing a pregnancy suit the last month. Staffers were shocked when she announced her pregnancy.

Bristol went into labor and sent Mom the message, Gov. Palin was in Tex at an oil conference at the time and flew home , while she was in labor, which is very unusual, especially with a high risk pregnancy.(give me a break a mother of a down syndrome baby would have never flown from alaska to texas in her last month of pregnancy.) Gov Palin got home in time to deceive us into thinking she gave birth to Trig, but in truth it was Bristol who gave birth to Trig.

Now to avoid the truth, they are saying Bristol is pregant now....I bet she is not and we will hear she had a miscarriage or something like that. If she does have the baby, I apologize and wish them well, but if not I will never trust Palin. I will not vote for her either way, this proves her lack of leadership skills.

My water broke when I was 22 with my first baby one month early and I was told in no uncertain terms to get to the hospital right away because this is a situation that can increase risk exponentially. Namely infection. This is very strange behavior for a 5th!!!! baby, which labors tend to get less intense and shorter each time.

www.washingtonpost.com...

97% of people had sex for the first time before they were married according to this article.

That is how hard it is to wait to have sex before marriage. I guess you must be one of the ones who has waited. I applaud you for that. However, no matter who you are and what moral values you possess it is a struggle to avoid sex.

A mother can love her child, teach their children right from wrong, and pray for them as much as she possibly can and choices still fall into the hands of teens who are faced with unbearable peer pressure, saturated with sex in media, and females especially are pounded with images that lower self image. I see these things everyday as a youth pastor, and I understand my youth I work with and the numerous mistakes they make even in sight of awesome parenting. Damning a mother because her daughter is experiencing an unplanned pregnancy is pure hypocrisy to put it lightly. We all make mistakes and do bad things.

Oh, and furthering rumors and gossip is the most hateful and horrible thing anyone can do because it damages people's lives. I can't count the number of times I've had youth in my office bawling their eyes out because of a false rumor that had been started about them. Rumors and gossip lead to hurt people who post about it on myspace and talk about it in their suicide notes.

Back to a more on topic approach I think this will get little attention from the media in the overall perspective. That is the way it should be. I'm glad we've finally come to understand the truth in the midst of the all the rumors that have been flying around. We have the truth and it should be left at that. Labeling this family will produce no good.
