Reading through this is funny. Palin is a great leader in our state, dems, gop love her. Even the ultras on both sides. She isnt anymore of an insider than the guy eating breakfast at Joes dinner getting ready to go build a house. Very sound on the budget, loving mother, understands people and how her decisions affect their everyday lives. Uses common sense to fix problems instead of merely throwing money around.

This wasnt a pick to pander for the womens vote, this was simply the best person he could have chosen.

Before you judge her after one day of news coverage, wait until she starts campaining and speaking. The person she is will be revealed then, and America will fall in love with her.

Also, for anyone who has mentioned Biden will beat her in a debate obviously has never seen her in one. Poor Joe is gonna get beat bad.

She has given birth to 5 children, the last one she knew had Down syndrome from prenatal testing, and she is as strong a pro-life candidate as I have EVER seen. Your comment is completely asinine.

Yup, insane. But she is the only one who could pull the Republican Right over on this. Come on, he's after white blue collar male workers and pulls somebody as out of touch as Miss World (Alaska div) with the aim of pulling women (bitch, rich)....... I may be insane, but he's hiding his hand..... i think.....

Interesting that you mentioned this.

In just about every story I read today on Palin, the story leads with the fact that she's anti-abortion.

What's funny is that both sides think it's to their advantage to raise the issue, and I'm guessing 90% of the population would rather leave things as they are and not have the abortion debate all over again every time there's an election.

I think this selection just won Obama the election. There are plenty of skeletons in this woman's closet. Like the following:

Wow... is that the best you can do? The investigation found that

* Wooten used a Taser on his stepson
* Wooten shot a moose without a permit, which is illegal. At the time he was married to McCann, who has a permit but never intended to shoot it herself.
* Wooten drank beer in his patrol car on one occasion.
* Wooten told others that his father-in-law — Palin’s father, Chuck Heath — would “eat a f’ing lead bullet” if he helped his daughter get an attorney for the divorce.

They guy sounds like a scumbag. Palin meanwhile has cooperated with investigators openly. Hmm... who to believe... hmm...

Sounds like a really bad closeted skeleton. Bark bark bark. This pick just really
liberals, doesn't it?

Skeletons? Have you ever been to Alaska????

This guys a d1@k lol, but... he's Just an Alaskan

I agree on this..what skeleton is this for the Governer of Alaska? She knew an Alaskan?

and lol, ever see a Moose coming at you? You'd shoot the sob too!

Very few people want to ban abortions where a womans life is at stake or she was raped

I wonder if many people even take the time to read Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton.

The Georgia law that was overturned in Doe v. Bolton had exception clauses for
(1) A continuation of the pregnancy would endanger the life of the pregnant woman or would seriously and permanently injure her health; or
(2) The fetus would very likely be born with a grave, permanent, and irremediable mental or physical defect; or
(3) The pregnancy resulted from forcible or statutory rape.

So, all the rhetoric about these exceptions is complete BS. And Obama wants to steer the Court system and the legislation to remove any barriers what-so-ever, going even further than Roe and Doe, because even they specified, because the rulings allow for states to regulate the third trimester due to the argument of viability.

Such ignorance. ultra liberal = antichrist with some of you.

You really gotta just take a step back and realize we are all americans. we all want the best for this country. liberals dont want to ruin the u.s like rush limbaugh and others say. the sooner this conjecture stops, the sooner we can all get along

Well, that's the thing should we not mention something that's huge and hope it just goes away?

The issue has become bigger than the right to choose it involves the structure of American life as children are not being raised and we can't compete in the work force economically

Every issue Obama raised in his speech... Teachers, Jobs, social security, military, responsability, morality

These problems all stem from a lack of 2nd generation American Moms ... even immigration is only a problem in the end because we are being outweighed as Americans by population growth from immigrants

Taxation and the rest of the budget would be solved by more working American English speaking workers...that's how are share of taxes will really go down

No, liberals might not want to ruin the country... but they are ruining the country. And when I say liberal, I include Neocons like G.W. Bush.

(Gasp... did he just say that? Uh, uh, Bush a liberal? Uh, uh... n-n-n-no you are a right wing nut job. Yeah, you must be a creationist or a Neo-Nazi or something)
Save it pinkos, I won't bite, but I will enjoy seeing you lose in November.

Leave it to the right winger to start the name calling. Yep, Obama is up in the most recent gallup by 8 points, thats the time to guarantee victory alright.

No I don't

It's unbearable, what is being called a life and rights is all bs and personal freedom gone haywire... an utterloss of compassion for people, replaced with new age nonsense

Everything starts in the home, whats constructive and useful for families is what i care about.

Abortion, divorce, dual income households, feminism that revolves around sex not being a Woman, demasculation of Men, Agendas gear at multiple groups that individually represent 1% of the population

it's crap

The 60's were ridiculous, it's great to see a woman her age who is not a freak or a selfish pig

I hated the Clintons... they were awful and Obama is another doof spouting 60's early 70's nonsense...

He keeps bringing up Race... and is it honestly an issue in a nation where young white kids have posters of Rap Stars on their walls and talk Hiphop?

It WAS an issue in the 60's, it's not now... i'm 37 hardly anyone my age or younger is rascist..I suppose we all are to a degree, but not Kill the N1223R racist, a few cops who never wnet to Colleg eand some rednecks and tweakers isn't America... there will always be examples

Real racism in America is more a Black on white issue at this point

we are past all this 60's crap already

The Crisis TODAY is the American family because socially the pendullum has swung to far...

it's all therapists and blame my parents and waaaaa and emo and...retarded all of it. Divorce ..what about my needs? and Abortion, What about my career

The liberals took femanism of women who wnated jobs and the ability to have some sex before marriage and made a crazy lesbian agenda of some...brave new world sexuality where kids are killed in genocide numbers and all women are forced to work and psychologically castrated if they wish to be Mothers

That wasn't a revolution for women it was enslavement and a life without joy

LOl the last thing I am is Right Wing, I hate certain conservative policies too... I wouldn't put myself under any label for that matter...

But there are some aspects of the Liberal agenda that have become unbearable and that's why an Idiot like Bush got into office... and lol he did nothing about them either so yeah, maybe calling the guy liberal isn't a bad idea...

I don't even know what you call them they are...corrupt?

But English... yeah it has to be mandatory

My reasons for this come more from living in AZ around 2-3 Million some odd illegals and legal Mexicans than from any conservative view

Life SUCKS for the kids when they do not speak the same language, many of them even racially are in essence in no way different than the other kids except they have a tan

But mom and dad don't speak English at home and they fall behind in school, have trouble socializing and end up cliquing only with other hispanics, then comes isolation and gangs and trouble for them their whole lives

some kids have it... to buck up on thier own and never gpo that route g-d bless em, but the at risk kids don't

and it's terrible to put your kid through school isolated like that, you came here for a reason and your kids WANT to speak English and play with everyone else

and it's selfish and wrong to not buck up and get past the learning curve when you migrated to America

and I am for Legalizing the illegals

and I am for allowing as many as who wants to come and extremely liberal in that regard

But knowing English makes the opportunities for those families, it earns them money keeps them from being 2nd class citizens and they deserve to be citizens

400 Million English speakers 80 Million Spanish speakers on the continent, one group has to learn the language and English is the most wisely known
spoken language around the world for business

and that's changing, if you want Americans to learn a second language...it's not French or Spanish it is Chinese

You hit the nail right on the head! The liberal agenda of the last 30 to 40 years has done everything it can to destroy the family. Look at the trash on TV today. What passes as sitcom is nothing but acts of immorality
Sarah Palin brings decency back into politics, a mother of five, who got into politics BECAUSE of her family and her desire to make things better for them and all Alaskan families. Hopefully, she can now do the same for all Americans. She is amazing, a woman, a mother, a wife, and a true Reformer who has put the people FIRST. Her story is truly an American dream.
My wife wasn't ready to vote for either Presidential candidate, and neither was I, but Sarah has convinced the two of us, that there is hope for America.

You know McCain has his party, but he is not a "crazy conservative" he's an AZ conservative and living here i know what that means and... it's not Bush and his Over machismo and do it all too Big thing

Pallin, definitively has some liberal views, and... McCain would neeed toneing down... and now he would go to the white house, not just with his Wife Bending his ear on certain issues in regardes to a more Human approach... But Pallin too

I see the combonation of two women in his daily life as being a big plus for a conservative in this day and age...

and you know your avatar says it all

Your probably a bright cool guy and dying for another Kennedy, i'm not nearly conservative... But I don't think if Kennedy was alive today and saw the results of certain 60's thinking in his society he'd be on the side of abortion or certain other things

and ... to not deviate, my aplogies

Obama Throws a Speech like Kennedy, he is not JFK despite the number of times he mentions his name how good those speeches are or how good he looks...

He's not what the hopeful thinks he is, he just talks the talk, he is a rigid man, he does not love America, he has alot of issues with alot of people

And

he is a guy who makes all the promises that will be impossible to keep and JFK was a truth teller not a vote grabber
