9/11 was just a new take on an old idea.

research "Operation Backwoods" from the early 60's.

locations and players changed but the plan is the same.

If they were willing to do it then, why do you think they wouldnt do it now.

We now know that NIST is not a "scientific" organization at all. It is a propaganda organ of the government.

Any reports coming out henceforth will be suspect. Maybe it really means National Inquirer STories.

How can a formally respected organization self destruct like this?

Unbelievable.

They certainly are, Pawnhaus, but as you know, the Devil is in the details...

Those cuts were done AFTER 9/11, during clean up. You can see the worker pointing it out.

If the core columns were cut, why did the Towers collapse from top to bottom AND had the cores remain standing for another 15 seconds after initial collapse?

Hello folks, this is my first time officially here on ATS. So yeah a n00b. i've been to this site many times and decided to join in!

As to the angle cuts:

There is a video of the workers even pointing out the cuts as they clean up!

That's the WTC all over.

It looks like it exploded all over the place.

Cuts to the outer shell to remove it.

The core beams must have gotten the silent treatment
with thermite and thermate.

That should bring down the WTC all alone.

At 9:58:59, the South Tower collapsed in ten seconds

www.9-11commission.gov...

Physics does not allow for the tower to fall this fast, without alot of help! Conservation of Energy is not something that can be undone by the government. Simple physics tells the whole story.

Just common sense should tell you that steel columns that supported all the weight of the floors above them for 30 years don't just 'get out of the way' of those same floors. Even if they were unable to handle the weight above them suddenly for some reason, it takes time to displace them. Thus, Conservation of Energy must be taken into account.

So the government wants to get rid of a cornerstone of Physics and replace it with this new phenomenon 'thermal expansion'. Maybe a black hole opened that day and warped the world as we know it.

You can't use Thermite to make cuts like that. I've used tons of it to do welding and repair of train tracks. There's no way clean cuts like that can be the result of Thermite. And, no, a shape charge leaves different type cuts in steel, too. Sorry.

Building 7 wasnt even hit by a plane, how can thermal expansion take place inside of a building where there is no accelerant or fuel?

It didn't get it by plane, but it sure as hell got hit by debris from the Towers.

Have you ever been to the WTC complex? Building 7 was on the OTHER side of building 6. It's on the opposite side of the complex and was the farthest building from tower 2 about four blocks away.

The heavy debris fell over on the West Street side by 2 & 3 World Financial Center and the Winter Garden, and none of them experienced any major damage.

So how did building 7 sustain such damage, while buildings right across the street, which were not part of the WTC complex, didn't?

Building 6, which was between tower 1 and building 7, looked like it was blasted from the inside.

But the REAL question was with Larry Silverstein saying the decision was made to "pull" the building, he said "I remember getting a call from the fire dept commander.. and the smartest thing was to "pull it", and they made that decision to pull, and we watched the building collapse."

So what does "pull it" mean?

On the same page is a recording of a demolition worker saying: "we are getting ready to pull building 6" and then another man saying "we have to be very careful how we demolish building 6..."

Pull It!

The other strange thing was the BBC newscaster saying they had just been handed news that building 7 had collapsed, even though it was clearly seen over her shoulder, and had not yet fallen, and wouldn't for a few more minutes.

And let's not forget, the CIA's undercover New York station was in the 7 WTC.

Hmmmmm. Too many odd things to just dismiss.

Both my wife and myself where there on 9/11. I was about 10 blocks uptown, but she was across the street. She said they all heard several loud explosions right before any of the buildings came down, more than one for the towers.

Just to make a physics point, since I think the 9.11 threads suffer from a lot of hyperbole and random misinformation that simply suffice to cloud the issues, Thermal Expansion is a real, well known non mystery phenomenon. There's even ways to figure out coefficients of thermal expansion. I should know, I did a study on exactly this phenomenon for a rubber company probably 15 years ago now - as in, the relationship between the mold size and the actual finished product (which when cooler, is smaller).

Whether this phenomenon could bring down buildings or not, or even if it occurred on an appreciable scale or not, however, is another question entirely..

But please, don't suggest that this physical phenomenon doesn't exist. Thanks

You gotta be f**king kidding me.

"Al-Qaida operatives held captive the families of the countries foremost building demolition specialists, provided them with fake credentials and security passes, and had them wire the buildings for demolition in the days prior to September 11th."

Actually they were Israeli Agents, demolition experts ... the same ones that were filming the event from blocks away.

Thermal expansion as it pertains to the collapse of buildings is new. You are talking about something completely unrelated, If i were an explosive expert I could talk about how I had experience with thermal expansion, or If I were a Baker... so there is no misinfo going on here, just people discussing thermal expansion + buildings collapsing... not rubber expanding, thanks

peace
