We have confirmation of CONTACT!!

2nd hand report. My friend lives maybe a mile and half away from me. He says he walked outside to light a cig and heard some voices across the wooden fence in my grandparents back yard. He thought it sounded like spanish but wasn't sure so he looked through the crack in the fence and saw 2 people about 9 feet tall that were really skinny wearing skin tight clothes. He then says it scared the living hell out of him and he backed up and noticed a glimmer of light and then he looked up and says he saw a beam of light shoot down about as big as a 2-liter bottle. He then looked up to see where the light was coming from and he saw a saucer shaped UFO. He says red lights rotating around it, but coulldn't see the color of the craft itself. Then after he looked at the UFO it shot off into the air.

I am seriously jealous as hell about this. He swears on his life, god, the bible, everything that he saw it.

Note, when planets and bright stars are low in the sky, they can scintillate and (Venus especially) appears to change colors.

This is normal resulting from the light passing through larger amounts of atmosphere, and varying frequencies having different path lengths due to density fluctuations.

Then as they "rise" (Earth rotates) the color fluctuations will go away.

I saw a bright small star, not satellite moving then disappearing. Straight line, happened when I went outside, which was 1 hour ago. There's always this bright thing in the sky too, I'm not sure which planet it is. It's rising in the east and setting in the west about the same time everyday. I live near Seattle. Does anyone know? I'm attaching pics of it.

The last pic was me trying to take a picture of the sky.

Only thing significant in Toledo, Oh at the moment is a looming thunderstorm. Or perhaps a transformer blew. Either way it sounds like a thunderstorms approaching. Though I hope people keep this thread updated if anything happens

I must say, even though we all may hold different political/social views, we all do share something in common. We all share an open mind, and open to experience something beyond our material world, which is a good thing. So even if you don't see anything tonight, the fact that you gave it a shot, is of significance, I think it is one step closer for us to lead the way for the rest of humanity and collectively on the conscious level moving forward to disclosure. Because again, disclosure will not be given to us, we have to want it.

We had a no-light-pollution view of the sky without clouds. Must have seen 50 shooting stars before we went to bed, just one after the other.

You'll have to forgive me but if i remember correctly I did see more shooting stars than usual on Friday night. I am in North central fl and they were towards the north west. I didn't see 50 but then again I wasn't out for very long, just to let the dog do her thing.

Hey EternalThought , i took some pictures at night a while ago and got the same red dots captured!
i believed at first that it was either jupiter or mars, but i checked my location in StarryNight and got no positive ID.
ill look em up and post them later!

Regarding the increase in UFO activity i do feel something is up, just last Thursday i was with a friend watching the sky at 2 30 pm, and saw the strangest thing flying around, very low to the ground, it was amazing, simply amazing!
I've never seen anything like that before, people can say anything they want, but when one finally sees something really strange, the mind just expands!...

too bad i have 0% visibility because of the clouds tonite, good luck everyone...

But good luck to you and your quest.

Yeah, this whole week isn't good for me!

Nothing as manic as not being able to make a plan ahead of "right now!". Why doesn't someone on ATS make a planed date in advance so that we'd all be able to schedule something?

I really don't try to look anymore since i already know it is real. It's kinda like...Oh that light looks interesting, could be a UFO...but got to get inside to scarf down my take out.

Yeah! Besides you get that whole kink in the neck thing going on. Besides, here's a thought. The OP says we should sit outside and think happy fuzzy thoughts out to the universe of how "we're ready". BUT!, wouldn't the factor that all those people sitting out in their back yards looking up trying to be "telepathic" show the fact they were not ready? After all, if you're going to be telepathic you can do it from the confert of your bed.

Hey

Well, I was out there "calling aliens" and nothing, yet its possible I didnt stay out there long enough, or that I live in Canada Alberta...
I have never heard of UFO sightings out here...

Anyways... i'm going out later tonight to check it out again.

Sincerely,
joshedis

"Hello, this is the calling aliens hotline. Due to higher then expected call rate your wait time should be 2 years and 7 months. Please don't hang up as this will only delay your call and your call is importiant to us".

Not to be rude but this is funny.

Where do you get the concept of white aliens are nice and grey are naughty? and Alex Collier?

You think, that they are not just as busy as anyone else?
From what I know, they are not mystical creatures that give attention to anyone who wants it.

Maybe the Grey Aliens have their version of "Chris Rock"?

Is that still racisim or should it be known as spacisim?

If one wanted to get something going ahead of "RIGHT NOW!" people could sign up. There could be a week or two period where people project thoughs in union out toward the aliens about the targeted night.

Ach, I'm unfortunate enough to live in a development. The sky's blocked with light pollution - I can't see a thing, really. (I despise developments. I really do.) However, I'll keep my eyes peeled, both metaphysically and physically. And good luck to everyone else! Whilst this may be a completely normal day, it is good to have your eyes open regardless.

Oh, I did hear some weird noise, however. The computer's speakers were off, and the noise was coming from outside. It sounded like music - like a crescendo in an orchestra, the soft, strings kind. Think of the 1812 overture, I suppose. It was more of an ethereal sound, though, and after the crescendo, started very quickly to fade out until it faded completely. Overall, it lasted about six seconds. I've no idea what it was, and I hear these sorts of things (never the same, though) every now and then. (As in, every few months.) HOWEVER! Most of the time, it's because of the nearby pavilion. It's not that close, but it's close enough for me to be able to hear, if I strain my ears, whatever concert is going on. There was no other noise after the noise I heard, though, so I doubt it was a concert. (Not to mention, I usually hear about the concerts that go on there. There hasn't been any news about concerts recently.) I mean, this may be completely normal, but it striked me as a bit weird. This was at around 12 AM.

I will report you for smoking too much dope, obviously you have been on some kinda drug to make a post like that. Personally I dont believe in the spirits but ALIENS do exist. We cannot talk to them as we cannot talk to fish, which is all we are to them. Do you understand? I will send a message out of harm violence to the aliens. Do what you may.

We're in the middle of a Perseids, a meteor shower that peaks on August 12th. It started a little over one week ago and will build until the peak, where you may see 15 per hour.

Crossing my fingers.
