Haha, he doesn't even have to mention Obama. It's as clear as day, and his silence about whom he supports speaks volumes.

And don't bother backing up that last statement of yours, because it's a lie.

Im sorry but what you "suspect" doesnt mean your right. Here let me ask you again, where did he say this is only about the Obama threads?

Its interesting ya know? The majority of the members talking against this thread are the very same members posting and supporting the other threads we speak of. The mere fact you and others here are jumping to conclusion that we only speak of the anti-Obama smears further clarifies that the vast majority of these threads come from the righties.

As much as I tingle searching for new posters talking about me like they have any knowledge, experience, insight, or interest at all, I'm sorry but I don't always pay the most attention new folks.

Force of habit seeing people register just to dump some sarcastic and/or presumptive trash and run out rather than having a conversation.

But, nevertheless, if you think you know something, try just asking me directly. I never fail to answer a question that I catch (lots of posts around here, can't see em all).

I supported Ron Paul, now I'm not so sure. I'm looking into Bob Barr but I'm unsure. I really don't hold out a lot of hope for a decent candidate making a real show or the American people gettin up off the couch for very long.

Matter of fact, I think it should be official that a nation is ending soon when they coin the phrase "Ballot Fatigue".

Now THAT'S sad.

No, I am not a Democrat, more of a republican turned libertarian.

I'm amazed to see you referring to other posters threads in the Decision 2008 forum as propaganda or trash, considering your own choice of thread topics. A simple glance of your own posts and threads shows you're possibly one of the worst offenders. It's a case of the pot calling the kettle black..

You'd probably be even more amazed if you opened up those threads and actually read them. One is basically saying the exact same thing as this one using a sarcastic extreme. The other remarks upon (yet again) the use of mudslinging as political debate and how pointless it is.

Neither is an attack on either candidate, and I thought (assumed) most would be smart enough to read and see this. Some were, but I am sorry you were not. Anticipating this I even pointed it out in the thread myself on page one.

Did you even read through them before using them as an excuse to indulge in ignorance?

Do you even understand what you are claiming has no merit or are you hoping...as usual...that the statement alone is proof enough?

Of course it is stupid guys. It is stupid because we are overreacting to the simplest things. Of course McCain made a mistake. Of course Obama made a mistake. Why are you all blowing them out of proportion and making ridiculous absolute assertions, such as calling someone a liar or unpatriotic over a gaffe.

I was jokingly mocking the recent influx of threads (mostly Obama) that do the very thing some of you scoffed at in this thread to make a point. That you see and hear what you want to, regardless of the common sense answer. You have even proven when the same is done to the opposite candidate you only THEN see how stupid the behavior is.

This is YOUR behavior that you now scoff at.
See how ridiculous it can be?

How about we raise the bar on political discourse?
Anyone in favor of this?

Both threads are anti-smear threads and the other is based on a weird dream which doesn't even relate to this.

Perhaps it is not as interesting as the discussions of Obama not giving Christmas gifts to his children or funding African terrorists though as I know you are keen on participating in, so then maybe this is what lead you to miss my statement above. I see you also missed the similar point in this thread or perhaps you understood both and just don't like the idea of someone not wanting to stand in the mud and call names and/or getting tired of watching it happen.

Either way I won't lose any sleep...

...and no the pot hasn't said a thing.

What disgusts me is the hypocrisy coming from many of these smears and lies being posted on this forum. Some of these members behind these threads claim they are Ron Paul supporters and then some how this makes them "impartial". One day you find them speaking out against the injustice and propaganda and lies of the two party system, the next day you see them posting and supporting some propaganda thread from one of the parties.

Very hypocritical if you ask me.

There should be a new rule that states anybody who posts threads like 'UFO over my house now' or 'Theres an alien in my bedroom as I type this' should only be allowed if the OP has evidence i.e photo, video e.t.c if not the thread gets deleted.

I'm not complaining. I'm just making an observation, Intrepid. Why do you call it complaining?

Tell me, Intrepid, would you be supporting the OP if he was a conservative? Or are those questions best asked via u2u??

You are as guilty as anyone on ATS when it comes to trying to silence opinions by discrediting the messenger.

if you dont support either canidate why is it you cant comment about what you hate about each? i agree with some of the things the obama people say about mccain. i agree with some of the things the mccain people say about obama. all you people supporting these clowns cant see the issues with your own canidate, and then get offended when an impartial person comments about yours.

just because i think the 2 party system is broken means i cant comment on it? well that sounds down right communist. i will continue to say what i want about both juan mccain and the obamanation. thank you.

An "impartial" person like you?
Surely you see the absolute outrageousness of that statement. Have you looked at your avatar in the past few months? Are you claiming to be impartial?

I have a conspiracy theory about people who claim to hate both candidates but only attack Obama. And never say anything good about either one.

sounds right to me...

i am impartial in that i dont like either canidate. i hate them both equally. now if only i could find a funny picture of juan mccain id make that as my avatar. you obama people need to lighten up.

the reason we attack obama is because his followers actually believe his bull crap. find me a mccain supporter that really believes in juan mccain. he is a joke, no true conservative likes him. you walk into a mccain thread and say "mccain sucks!" everyone just shakes their head and says "we know..."

you walk into an obama thread and exspose his inadiquacies and everyone acts like ive just slapped an infant.
you obama people are trapped in some trance mesmorized by your messiahs ability to spin and run a campaign on fluff. frankly it is more fun to exspose obama.

"Yes", I did read through them, and they speak for themselves. Your McCain article entitle "McCain the pathological liar" was wrong on many levels. The most obvious being you violated posting rules by creating your own inflammatory title rather than using the actual title. Care to comment on why you chose to do that? If that isn't a clear example of trolling, I don't know what is. I'm surprised the moderators allowed you to get away with it.

Do you even understand what you are claiming has no merit or are you hoping...as usual...that the statement alone is proof enough?
Your own posts and threads are proof enough. If you haven't noticed, nobody is defending your actions..

Both threads are anti-smear threads and the other is based on a weird dream which doesn't even relate to this.
Both threads were your attempt to cause the same type of disruptive behavior on the board that you say you oppose. Own up to your own actions.

You're knee deep in the mud with everyone else Lee, especially when it comes to anything concerning Obama. You support him, and that's cool. But at least be factual, and don't go changing article titles to suit your personal agenda.

That thread is actually a little funny, but your right it is ridiculous.

So what is the difference?

Check the number of flags and stars it has promoting it. There are none. My point, which I brought up earlier, is that there is a gang of members that promote the ridiculous anti-Obama threads, and you don't see that same tactic from the Obama supporters.

Not that it means anything, but there it is.

are you joking man.
there is 400 mcain cure's aid's with sweat from his armpit thread's...
and 400 obama follower's saying blah blah obama has the cure.
they do it more than mcain follower's if you ask me..
in rebuttal to mcain thread .
so it goes both ways

If no one supports McCain, then why do the polls suggest otherwise? He seems to have plenty of support even though no one likes him.

No, the reason why supporters might complain about what you post is more about what you say, and how you say it. People will show as much respect to you, as you do to them.

I take offense to that, I'm just to lazy to find a good/fitting one.
As for the annoying election trolling I agree about ignoring them, but can we also throw blunt objects at them? We are screwed no matter who gets in Dem, Rep, or 3rd party. They are all greedy and evil. So vote for me!

the polls suggest that because there are only two choices in the poll. if there was a third choice of neither canidate, i assure you that slot would have alot of support. but the media would never report on such a poll, the media wants people trapped in the 2 party illusion.

such is life.

No, the reason why supporters might complain about what you post is more about what you say, and how you say it. People will show as much respect to you, as you do to them.

of course they dont like what i have to say. i am ruining their game of "make believe". i completely respect mccain supporters who dislike mccain and are only voting for him because they see him as the lesser of two evils.

i completely respect obama supporters who dislike obama and are only voting for him because they see him as the lesser of two evils.

i have no repect for cult members who cannot see the imperfections in their canidate no matter what, and then try to get more people to join their cult. it is completely illogical and devoid of rational thought. it is an emotional cult like behavior. i feel this way about people on the republican side and the democratic. but like i said before earlier most people know mccain sucks. obama has more of the cult following, this disturbs me greatly because when you have a cult like following in politics bad things can end up happening...remeber hitler?

If you click on this link, I think you'll find that the bashing is not all one-sided. There are just as many anti-McCain threads, they just tend to die out faster than Obama ones. John McCain is a known quantity, Barack Obama isn't. It's as simple as that.

Forum gangs suggest collusion HAL. Do you have any hard proof? This is the second time you've mentioned this in one of your posts. I'm sure we both could make a list of people we consider to be a part of a forum gang, but that doesn't really prove anything. Until there's some concrete evidence, they're just unsubstantiated allegations.

I realize it's a conspiracy site, but surely the moderators would be aware of such activities if it were occurring. More likely, it's simply a case of like-minded members from both sides being drawn to the same type of threads. Everyone is eager to support their own candidate.

I think the last several posts have just proven the OP's point.

ATS is supposed to be about conspiracies.....right?

If there's a valid conspiracy that has a political bent, then bring it on!!

Blackwater, Congressional inaction, Karl Rove....there are three. I just don't see where squabbling about two candidates (which is the American Way, has been for decades) is a conspiracy. It just don't belong, IMO.
