So are you talking about the skeptics disparaging the believers or the other way around?

The way I see it it's the woo-woo believers of faith who are willing to believe ANYTHING without a shred of evidence and the skeptics who are asking REAL honest questions:

First of all you are not a skeptic, you are an outright debunker.

Skeptic - One who practices the method of suspended judgment, engages in rational and dispassionate reasoning as exemplified by the scientific method, shows willingness to consider alternative explanations without prejudice based on prior beliefs, and who seeks out evidence and carefully scrutinizes its validity.

Please read the above comment and see if you fit in. Unfortunately you do not and that's were my problem with you comes from. I have respect for alot of skeptics here because they keep an open mind and consider alternative explanations.

You do not. You ridicule and laugh, accuse witnesses of being lunatics and UFO believers to be gullible. I have to admit sometimes when you are in a good mood you ask legitimed questions.

Now the thing is: You are going way to far with the debunking, so you come across as being narrow minded. You use terms as nonsense, Lunacy, bull*** and such. The sad part which you don't seem to understand is that you are only making assumptions. How do you know that these things are nonsense? Because you think so? What gives you the right to accuse people of being gullible, insane and lyers? You don't even know these people so how can you judge their sanity.

So please ask questions but refrain from the name calling, making assumptions based on your narrow minded beliefs and post constructive things. If you do that you will be taken much more seriously by the majority of these boards.

Great story - now everyone take a chill pill and quit attacking each other - It wrecks the thread for the rest of us.

The phone didn't work when this incident happened (oooh how convenient)

I think you're a bit over the top Antiseptic, but I like you. You are to the point and we need folks like you keeping things honest.

Now - this part of the Colorado River happens to be Lake Havasu which I've been visiting off an on for 35 years. My last trip was in 2005 and I even stopped in Needles - believe it not. I did bring my cell phone for communications and believe it or not it did not work all the time mostly because there's cliffs that block the signal in that area, so if you're in a watercraft/boat all you do is move a bit until you get a good enough signal. So, the houseboat guys story about the phone not working is plausible.

Besides - I don't know what the big deal is here - likely it's just a military test project and there's no reason for people to lie about that. Big deal it happens everyday. The reason there were strange vehicles is there was probably some dangerous toxic residue in the fuel tank or what ever it was.

Yes ,there's an outside chance it was a vehicle for somewhere else, but there is zero evidence to support that theory - so I agree it is wild ass speculation and wishful thinking. Nevertheless if nobody looks at the possibility that some of these events might originate elsewhere we will never find the evidence.

I agree. Clearly something crashed - there were enough witnesses for me to at least believe that - but it was probably top-secret, US military property. This time. What I find most intriguing is that it was described as a luminous, turquoise egg.

Man, I wish I knew what kind of toys those guys have hidden...

Ok, I read your post in response to some of my comments. I agree those people are a bit nuts. I happen to believe we're not alone. But I don't lay claim to knowing why they are here, nor do I have VIN's to help me identify their space craft. I also maintain that this may very well have been a U.S. military rescue practice operation. Or some sort of recovery operation. But there are some weird things surrounding this story and I want some answers.

So far you have managed to turn my thread into a Skeptics VS. Believers mudslinging contest rather than adding anything of value. If you can't discuss things of this nature without sounding trite and trying to belittle others for their beliefs then I will ask you to find another thread. I won't put up with it because this story is preliminary, we don't know much, and this kind of crap won't help us get the answers we're looking for. People like myself are working hard to figure out what happened that night. And if you're not going to help fine. But don't berate, or annoy others with pseudo-skepticism...As it is no substitute for real research.

Quick Suggestion, would it maybe help if one of our Las Vegas ATS Members went to the "crash site"?

Chances are, that there is nothing there, but checking it out wouldn't hurt anybody

Also, i wonder what BS story the Government/Military will tell us?

I was thinking about going to the crash site myself since I live in Nevada...But Vegas users are alot closer. If you decide you wanna go out there I won't say no. But remember this, it may have been something the government is trying to hide, so there maybe that issue to deal with. Secondly whether it is extraterrestrial or not, you don't know what was in that thing, so I would suggest using EXTREME caution in the environment you'll be in whether there is visible material or not. It may be toxic.

Google on the crash

one of the forums going at it

Radar gave the heads up on this object.
Bob on the river got abducted.

A UFO that lost power, not good.

Did Bob see any bodies dangling from the saucer as the CIA picked
up the craft in one piece, ala JFK JR's pilot seat.

Similar but not:
(Also from the forum link)

Update on Kecksburg UFO incident

www.youtube.com...

The acorn UFO, similar except the event was shown
in a TV show with lots of PA witnesses as a truck hauled
it down from town.

Any records are in an Illuminati vault and can never be seen.
Locked up better than the "Pentagon Papers".

On the bottom of the Wikinews link that ziggystar60 provided there is a picture of the event in January.

www.coasttocoastam.com...

All it says is that it was taken by a man named Charles Miller and it was provided by Coast to Coast Radio. If the picture is genuine then there is a good chance the more recent event is similar imo.

20 years from now when the sky highways are operating, we must remember to stay away from the glowing blue/green drivers. They suck.

And just to be safe, if you ever see a government official flying a remote-control plane, LOOK OUT!

So, not to sound apprehensive, but do you have anything. to add to this discussion?

In a few months check out the salvage yards after they
decontaminated the parts.

They can't keep everything.

Although new security on crash and spare parts must have increased
since a few known slips.

A part with a Nazi emblem ( like from the 40s and used for saucer
navigation.. like that was going in the 40s in planes) was purchased
with the scavengers being monitored until they walked off the secure site
with more items and were arrested.

Any even further back to 1914 Los Alamos, parts ended up having the
men in black buying all the parts back. This was an official salvage so
no arrests.

If you see a CIA truck heading to a junk yard, something might be
let go.

Sorry, I forgot about the no jokes rule. With that said, would you rather me repeat what everyone else is saying?

Could be a UAV, could be a UFO. I hope it's a UFO. I've been wanting disclosure since I was a kid. I only hope the aliens have more of a sense of humor than we do.

Well it's definitely a ufo. As in unidentified. I apologize like I said I don't want to sound apprehensive, but we've already had
an attempted derailment and I was only seeking to avoid another as people tend to get very passionate ok both sides. But this is a preliminary report, we don't know much, and already people are injecting pseudo-skeptical or super- hardcore believer bs, this potentially turning this into another believer vs skeptic thread which I am desperately trying to avoid until we know what we are dealing with. Again I apologize, try not to take it personally.

I understand. I wish I had more information on the event that I could share. I don't have cable so I'm afraid I'm more in the dark than most of you. Although nothing on cable seems to be the truth, anyways.

The more I think about it, the more unlikely it seems that it was a UAV. With the attention it's receiving, it's odd that the government wouldn't just come out and say it was a UAV. The quick removal and secrecy makes it even more sketchy.
I've always believed that the government has been keeping other-worldly secrets, so it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.
As you stated, it's too early to jump to conclusions. Exciting times, though.

Oh I don't have cable. I was following this incident for a while and haven't gotten very far as of yet, then I saw George Knapp's report. I'm waiting for Mr. Knapp's follow up on an upcoming I-Team report and I'll see if he posts scans of his FOIA files should he get them, if he hasn't already. Would be nice to see a print out

While one would think we could do that, it just doesn't work that way. Not every parcel of land on Earth is photographed and updated. Our best bet would be a ground search and investigation.

However I will caution on this again, it could be toxic, so one must be prepared for that potential hazzard. It could be guarded, if so they may be inclined to shoot you. Jist be careful in general Id say.

Oh right, never thought of that.I just assumed Google had it covered.Have I missed something ?Is someone going to go to the crash site to check it out?Surely there's going to be some martail law thing going on?Has anyone heard if Bob has been found? If not,how long has he ben missing now?
