You mean Obama will convince us to elect these Muslims to office?

Or are you talking about him appointing them to some advisory position? If so, they can do little more than advise the President, or possibly make decisions around the White House. They could do very little to effect the way things are ran concerning our laws here in the United States. Unless, Obama convinced the majority of Americans to elect more Muslims to public office so that those in the advisory positions could in fact sway opinion.

Anyway, what's wrong with more Muslims being elected to office? It's very unlikely that Sharia Law could be enacted in the United States unless the majority of the population supported the ideals. The public could just vote them out of office if someone attempetd to change that laws and we didn't agree with it.

Other than the whole wanting to "take over the world" thing, why shouldn't we elect more Muslims to office? The majority of Muslims that I've met have no interest in taking over the world ... just as most Christians I've met have no interest in such.

But, maybe I've just aligned myself with more peaceful people than yourself. How many Muslims have you met before? Out of those, how many wanted to "take over the world"?

Tis true. Since becoming a Muslim, my only desire has been to take over the world. My idols were Pinky and the Brain and all those Bond villians and i gleaned some very important information from them which i will put to use one day.
I haven't got very far it has to be said, what with bringing up children, working, living day to day life, but i WILL get there. Eventually. And then you will all be forced to wear burkas and beards and even though i tend to walk around in jeans and t-shirts, i don't care...Islam will rule. Eventually. Someday. When we get round to it.

You make a very good point here without even realizing it.

Religious Extremism, whether Christian or Muslim, both have one common element between them: Intolerance.

The extremism, whether based in Christianity, Islam, or Atheism, is apparent in the OP in the idea that he groups all Muslims together in the pursuit of world control.

I don't think the the OP should fear Muslims. Maybe Muslim Extremists, but not Muslims as a whole. In submitting to the fear of Muslims, the OP has become what he dislikes; an extremists. Based in the fact that he is intolerant of Muslim's ideas.

Considering the push for restrictive laws by the current administration if a hypothetically muslim future president were to hypothetically institute sharia law I doubt the population would hypothetically notice the diference.

I live there and nothing important is happening here. And I have done a lot of inquiry. Because also in Europe there are fear-mongers going around. It is all a lot of fluff which is blown up by the socalled "terrrorist" situation.

5 % of our nation is islamic officially. Inquiry shows that just as with catholics (like I was raised and will be officially counted but am not) more then half of the 5 % does not live according to islamic rules and even does not believe.

Most of the muslim immigrants get kids that are enjoying new freedom and luxuries. One third I believe of the second generation wants to marry a girl/boy from "home". The third generation almost none.
People said they would fload us with lost of offspring. Not true, in the second generation they get 2,5 kids. In the third they are down to our national level of 1,5. That is what is happening.

We have 16 million people in my country. 850.000 are seen as muslim. They said years ago that their number would be more than a million in 2006. Well, it didn't happen. and what more, on;y 400.000 say they consider themselves islamic. Like Jews and Catholics a lot off people fall out off their believe system when they get agreeable lives without all the peerpressure.

Some off the immigrants kids have difficulty integrating because they are badly raised and skip school and end up in small crime. That is something that you can correct in time.

Off course you will have problems from time to time. Look at Europe opening its inner boarders. Rednecks come to major cities and what do they do, the get drunk or misbehave.

For people who don't know this: The "islamic thread" is a created fear to support a certain powerplay. It is an equivalent of "look out, the farmers are coming/monsterspiders/the immegrant fload...they will eat my bread, they will steal my job." Well, it can't be much of a job then..go study and ensure your position in live.

The only source of this was from Kibaki's followers. It was denied by Kenya's Muslim population. SOURCESOURCE

And any examination of Odigna would show the claim he wants to impose Sharia law makes no sense. Odigna is of the Anglican faith, which when I last checked, was not a branch of Islam. He is also an ethnic Luo, the majority of which are Christian (and the vast majority of whom support Odigna). There are not enough Muslims in Kenya for them to be the majority of his followers.

The violence in Kenya following the election was not Muslim on Christian or vice-verse, but ethnic in origin, Luo and Kikuyu. The majority of both tribes are Christians. SOURCE SOURCE

Anyone who thinks Obama is a muslim obviously isn't familiar with the Senator. I suggest that people do research on his background, learn what he has accomplished in his life, and also find out what he has contributed to here in America.
