Although I applaud your action, you appear to be using this as a means to back ATS/Springer into a corner which I neither applaud, nor approve.

Interesting.. now that the shoe is on the other foot.. some are defensive and apauld for their "beliefs" in what they percieve as "factual".

Now that a "skeptic" is asked to bring forth their evidence to back their "beliefs" or are challenged a sense of "urgency" is in the air and hostiliy and mudslinging is the response of anyone who has an open mind?

Not singling out Springer here but those who believe what they do based on "opinion" and "views" alone with out "scientific" evidence of any kind. Good thing not all on similar wave lengths or we'd still consider the earth flat and the universe revolves around us.

Hmmm....

How to spot a hoax...

I will not explain the various aspects of the explosion that will come to past and lead to holy YAHWEH’s next UFO explosion through out the earth concerning me.

Hoaxers don't explain anything.

This stunned us when we realized that your group “appears” to be the one that will play some role, “maybe,” if we can come to an agreement, in the next UFO explosion of me throughout the earth.

Hoaxers always give themselves an "out". And tell me, if he will gladly accept the ATS challenge, why does PY and ATS need to come to an agreement. The terms of the challenge are simple.

We did not know that your particular group was the one who was going to contact us.

But, I knew that we were preparing to be contacted by someone like you, and we were waiting on you.

So, let me get this straight. You're in contact with Yahweh and are a prophet, but he won't tell you point blank who is to contact you. Instead, he wraps it up in some sort of mystery for you to figure out. Hmmmm....

Now, just like in all the other aspect segments of the vision that came to past, who it is that was going to contact us “appears” to be fulfilled, “possibly” with your group.

But wait, didn't his vision lead him to ATS. Now, the prophet doesn't sound very sure of his vision. I think ATS will only "appear" to be the group if ATS is willing to negotiate terms favorable to PY.

I gladly accept your challenge.

Keep this in mind.

I have been trying to post directly to your forum, but something seems to be wrong with it, in that, it does not allow my post.

Hmmm, you're a prophet, have Yahweh tell you why. Hoaxer...cough...cough...hoaxer.

Let’s start our negotiations on this wonderful opportunity as soon as possible.

Negotiations? Didn't you just say you would accept the challenge....gladly?

Until I can post to your forum, I will send my thoughts to you, on how best to conduct this UFO summons event, and you can post it to the group for me.

You might be waiting awhile.

Any mention of lack of belief, or putting this to a real test, is being disputed or ignored.

Actually, a real test is exactly what we're demanding.

face it, the mods couldn't care less about this guy and his ufo's (which are probably balls of energy, rather than fancy metallic ships controlled by actual beings).

the mods simply don't care. it seems to me, that they'd rather label this guy a lunatic/charlatan/and other degrading terms that to actually see where this 'path' leads.

who are we to say that this guy is a hoax without proof to back it up? isn't that what 'deny-ing ignorance' is all about!

however, if the mods do have proof proving this guy to be a hoax and are just keeping it silent. then shame on them, because then they would in turn be leading us all blindly into ignorance.

No those are the types of balloons that he was accused of using back in 2005 when he was debunked, in part due to the photo of himself using such balloons in connection with doing computer teaching to inner city kids. It has already been shown that he was involved in running computer classes via other information sources, which adds additional credence to the photo. The point of that post was to show what type of weather balloon that he was accused of using, and how it would be tough to identify even with optics.

You know I am really sorry if this is all rubbing some of the newer hardcore “believers” the wrong way, but even the more experienced believers here are showing up on the skeptics side of this debate. That in itself should tell you all something. You're betting on a loosing horse with this one.

Beware of false prophets in the last days.

Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

No! Actually showing up in the desert with a camera, near PY’s territory, and under his stipulations, is a test of absolutely nothing constructive. Some of the things that me and other posters mentioned before are more of a controlled test, which I am sure he will back down from, or wont happen due to other reasons.

Maybe this is out in left field, but I see no reason for "The Above Network" ATS, to be involved at all.
I have seen members have get together's why not just do that, have an unofficial tail gate or BBQ bash in the desert and invite PY.
Anyway just my 2 pennies

Enthralled Fan asked to see my original email to Prophet:

-----
Hello again Prophet,

I just wanted to let you know, I've started a thread at www.abovetopsecret.com based on my conversation with you at blog.prophetyahweh.com :

www.abovetopsecret.com...

You should know, there is a fair amount of interest there to see if you can summon a UFO for ATS under controlled conditions.

Springer, one of the three owners of ATS, says,

"If he pays his own way out to the middle of a desert that I choose, at the time I choose, and he can call down a UFO that I can see through a telescope I will change my opinion."

This could be a great opportunity for you, since ATS is HOT right now - with over 2 million visits per month. If you really can summon UFOs at will, this could help you get the kind of exposure you need.

Will you accept the challenge?
-----

Now, notice I did not claim to speak for all of ATS; I simply said there's "a fair amount of interest". Which is true - many members have recently posted in favor of setting up a test for Prophet, in this thread, my other thread, and JohnnyAnonymous' thread.

Also, I did not claim to represent Springer, I simply quoted part of his post.

To all those who are saying this would be a waste of time - just look at the number of people who have posted in support of a test, in this thread alone. Look at the number of people who are saying, where is the PROOF that he hoaxes his videos?

The fact is that the debunkers don't have any conclusive proof that he hoaxes his videos - so testing him out is the logical thing to do!

So these ufos he pings with his hat, am I to assume that they have poor landing skills?
Forget controlled environments, telephoto lenses and all the other stuff.
Do it right now!
Tell them to land in front of the bellagio.

For those of you waiting to hear from Springer, I doubt you will. He's already states his thoughts in the first thread started by the OP....And he's right on.

The decision to nix the interview was as simple as this...

The Above Network, LLC, and its affiliate, www.AboveTopSecret.com do not promote HOAXERS or people who seek deceive the public in order to gain financially or otherwise.

The reality is this fellow has been blown out of the water on so many levels it's not funny, His July 2006 landing in Las Vegas went by without whisper.

ALL of his "UFOs" have the incredible ability to look exactly like large balloons being carried by wind currents.

Think about this for a minute with just a LITTLE critical thought... If the news crew actually believed this guy called down alien piloted craft do you honestly think they would have only done ONE interview/call down?! They are MEDIA PEOPLE, if those guys had the "real deal" they would have taken PY and his aliens all over the world.

Let's try Occam's razor...
Which is the most likely answer?

1. A guy who is trying to cash in on UFOlogy has an accomplice release balloons at a specific time (or when he hears the "prayer" start through a cell phone) to make it appear as though a UFO is in the sky at his beckoning

2. aliens are listening to the "prayers" of this guy and appearing in their ships from light years away only to go away again and not return until PY needs more gas money?

It really is time for a big dose of Critical Thinking around here.

Springer...

well said. however, should he decline to those stipulations (that you/others put forth) would that prove him to be a hoax? it would seem so, but I am uncertain as to whether that would be 'concrete' evidence enough. how would one go about concretely proving him to be a hoax?

Powers that be.. regardless of the institution have a saying which is whispered from afar for all observers who question their existance....

Do as we say, not as we do.

Does denying ignorance mean running like a little girl when someone calls you out. Oh, yeah I forgot you guys are from the UK aren't you. You don't have American cajones. Why don't you guys admit that you'd rather drink tea than be men.

My names ATS and I'm scared of a challenge. Ban me if you like! If you refuse this challenge you lose a lot of respect from a lot of people on this board.

Americans, eh? Type first, think later.

Hmmmm... accused? So because someone was/is "accused" of fraud they are automatically labeled guilty of a crime on ATS????

Very interesting and enlightening....

Also MrdDstrbr,

I would like to know why you feel the need to be an intermediary between ATS and others like Jose Escamilla and now Yahweh?

What is your agenda?

Well I think my "agenda" is fairly obvious, isn't it?

There's a long, and growing, list of people claiming to be able to achieve UFO sightings and Contact experiences by means of telepathic communication. Greer, Gilliland, Webre, Salla, Paola Harris, Prophet, and lots of others.

ATS has long had the bad habit of "armchair investigating" these things, and jumping to conclusions and prematurely declaring people hoaxers, frauds, cultists etc.

I would like to see ATS take a more serious look at this to see if there's any truth to it. And when you have someone like Gilliland saying, hey come on down and check it out, for free, have your own experience.... when you have Prophet offering to come out and summon UFOs for you under whatever conditions you want.... what more could you ask for??

We all know how the Jose Escamilla fiasco turned out.

Didn't you have a Q & A thread for Jose?

"UFO : Greatest Story" is one of my favorite videos. So yeah, I stood up for Jose when he showed up here. So what? How is that relevant here?

Why did you feel a need to e-mail Yahweh to begin with?

Well if you look at the way the If you could ask Prophet Yahweh a question thread went down.... they were practically begging for someone to go talk to Prophet and get his side of the story.

And then when I actually talk to Prophet, I find out that he is very much willing to interview with ATS, he is very much willing to come out and summon UFOs for Springer, under whatever conditions he wants!

So it seems to me, it's ATS that's not giving him a fair chance. "We won't let you prove yourself and summon UFOs for us because we already know you're a con man." Denying Ignorance, or casting judgement? Hmm.........

Perhaps because he is a hardcore researcher.
You do not learn much by sitting back and theorizing about things when you can get hands on and first hand experience by going a step beyond.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think he's just a trouble maker. That is my opinion. Especially after Jose Escamilla. While his thread was not labeled a hoax, the other one was. MrDstrbr just added fuel to the fire.

First hand witnessing can either validate or unvalidate a claim much better than sitting around and running on at the keyboard about what you saw second hand from a source you don't neccesarily trust.

Well then get up from sitting around and go do something with MrdDstrbr about it! Then you can both fill us in, ok?

Real knowledge comes from REAL research.

Well then, since you side with MrdDstrbr, why don't you use your REAL money and time, and do the challenge on your own? That should satisfy you in your search for REAL research.

Knowledge is power.

Then MrdDstrbr (and You) can make a challenge on your own and use your own expenses, and waste your own time, since Springer has made it known that he could care less to challenge the guy unless it is at Yahweh's own expense.

Why are YOU so combative about his seeking of this knowledge?

[edit on 17-6-2008 by NephraTari]

Because I tend to think that what MrdDstrbr did was to encite something that wasn't really asked for. If Springer wanted to challenge the guy, he would hav asked the guy himself.

I'm not sorry if you see my having common sense combative.

Freenrgy2,
There's no need to attack this person's religious beliefs and your above statements are totally uncalled for.

What if someone attacked YOUR beliefs that you are "Born Again" Christian and asked you to prove that to us?

Leave religion out of this discussion please.

If I recall correctly, I believe that the final nail in his coffin was when the Las Vegas thing did not occur which we waited months for, and he shut down the video site that many folks had paid money to see. So he basically walked off with a bunch of folks money, that I don’t think was ever refunded, and stopped providing the service they had paid for. You can correct me if I am wrong on this, it was a number of years ago, and I don’t really follow UFO stuff that closely. The balloon aspect of PY was only a part of the issue.

One problem that I am finding in going back into the old PY threads is that a lot of the information I remember from that event is either hard to find, or its gone from the net altogether. There are a lot of broken links in reference to sites that PY ran, most of them are down now. So at this point its hard to find 100% of the proof that we had back then, but it was still thoroughly debunked last time through.
