Do you believe John Lears stories?

I have heard from many sources that we (the US Gov't) have had Electro-Gravitic craft (UFO's to most of you) for decades. One murdered radio show host once said, "The technology that exists is 50 to 100 years ahead of what's state-of-the-art on the street." I believe that statement to be true. John Lear is just telling you some things too big for most of you to fathom, but they are undoubtedly true. You should hear what is worth saying that he HAS NOT said on the air or anywhere!!! My take on a breathable atmosphere on Mars is simple.I really don't know where else John Lear claims there is breathable atmosphere in this solar system besides Earth and Mars. I'm doubtful any moons could sustain such an envirornment that would allow us to breathe. Mars must have a breathable atmosphere for the inhabitants,though we most likely would need oxygen regularly.I have seen that the Mars animals and humanoids have no breathing devices that I can detect visually.The people wear hats and light clothing from what I've seen. I listen to Coasttocoastam as well. John Lear could be the kingof "disinfo", but what about Major Ed Dames? I am completely baffled by this individual! Remote viewing and government - there's a "dynamic duo" - yeah!

If you ever worked for W.P. Lear, you'd know where John got his attitude. W.P. had a self assurance that was unstoppable. What he believed was truth, was in fact, his truth. He let nothing stand in his way. However, I think John, trying to live up to dads expectations, might have made it difficult to just be who he is and not engraciate himself to others. I believe he has the old mans inventivness, but has channeled it in a rather unscrupulous manner. Thats just my opinion.

From all the threads I've read that involved John Lear, he posted great stories but when asked to back them up with facts, he would simply attack those who were willing to question him.

Although he would make a decent B-sci fi writer, I always preferred to deal in facts which is where all his arguments fell apart.

I have tried to search for this at ATS, but didn't find anything.

John Lear has made new claims at the Pegasus Forum. This is from one of his posts:

None of the Apollo astronauts went to the moon or landed on the moon. None. It was all a hoax.

All of their memories were false memories.

No whether it was because we didn't have the techical expertise or some other reason I don't know for sure. Certainly the Lunar Lander with a rocket engine could not have happened. If they landed which I don't think they did, they did not use a rocket engine.

The entire moon landings of Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 and the emergency of 13 were staged and were all illusions. A very expensive magic trick... just like 911.

One of the forum's members says: "Somehow I got the idea you thought they did go to the moon but the fake photography was only to hide the secret aspects of the moon (atmosphere , etc). Thanks for clarifying."

John Lear answers:

You are correct. Up until a few weeks ago that is what I believed. I am no longer an 'Apollo hugger'. I am now a "No mooner".

This is funny because he is able to specifically determine, for sure, their memories were tampered with and, for sure, they didn't go to the moon but he doesn't know why? What a weird gap in his knowledge??? It's almost like he's just making it up to get a reaction out of people

I remember seeing somewhere transcripts where the astronauts are talking to command telling them that they are there with them and they are messing with the equipment and such.. command asks if they set up the mirrors and they reply ya but what does it matter they can just come back and destroy them or get rid of them.. I got the impression in there that something they said was an indication that the original pictures and video taken had been destroyed by their visitors in which case the pictures would have to be faked at a later date by big brother but in the same token is not proof they were never there. Only perhaps they were there but the visitors did not want them going back with any evidence of their presence.

Just a thought. I forget where I read it but it may have been here.. or in a thread link if someone wants to go searching.. I am not in the mood right now. lol

I really like & respect John - and of course his father. John is a great story teller. Some of his theories require as much faith as those who believe in things like christianity. I don't see a difference.

In comparison to some of the cock & bull stories I read here on the UFO & Aliens board, John is quite sane.

It's really just of manner of sifting through the data and following your own gut feeling on what is and isn't a possibility. Never take anyone at their word 100%, including those giving the reasons for why John is no longer a conspiracy master here.

Do I believe everything he says? NO! Is some of it possible? Could be...

To coin a phrase, "Question Everything & Everyone". Take nothing at face value!

do people live on venus? i don't know. i can tell you that we currently believe that they don't...but all our current beliefs are is the most recent theory since the last theory was proven wrong. given the pattern of failure seen from astrophysical predictions (and the booming theory of the electric universe), why disbelieve a theory that lear has?

all of us are here because we have one tinfoil belief or another. if he is crazy, so are the rest of us.

The vast majority of his stories completely fall apart when evidence is asked for. I myself have asked him to post evidence to support his ideas and he has always refused and instead, insulted me. Excellent way to prove a case

There is a slight atmosphere on the moon but due to low gravity and a few other factors, it's almost non-existent.

I would have to say no as there is absolutely no evidence to support this idea.

John's ideas are nothing more then the imaginations of someone who has fun with his own thoughts.

I never knew of John Lear until the other day, when browsing the website with all those video interviews.

Yep he can tell a great story and seems to have a super personality.

I get the feeling he really believes in what he says. Now, whether it's accurate or not is another matter.

He's certainly passionate about what he does. I wouldn't think a scam artist would pile all that crap in the home just to look good. Nor would a normal wife deal with that much crap laying about all the time.

Some of the stuff he said made sense, while some of it did not.

OK I got in touch with John Lear through email. Unfortunately he claims that he has no proof of whatever he claims and says.

So why trust him ?

I believe the guy is making assumptions without any basis or proof.
If someone likes science fiction, I am sure past science fiction is true now. You can go ahead and have some fun reading and listening about him.

I am not willing to take any kind of statement from anyone , unless they have proof.

I could listen to Lear spout his stories for weeks at a time.I don't care if they are not all true because he has some mis-held beliefs or blind spots,holes in his knowledge or even major misconceptions. He has info I want and need because he has insider sources that can lead me on my way to higher and deeper knowledge. John Lear is an enigma. After being exposed to him, mainly here on ATS, you just wonder what ever happened to his allegedly brilliant mind to cause him to be labeled a nut. And that is what he is, a nut. You can come to this conclusion yourself if you can find past posts here where he points out all kinds of alien constructs on a giant crater on the moon, except that there is nothing to be seen although he was supported by a million ATS members who must now be in the same loony bin with John.

And the quotes attributed to him are just so unbelievable that to think that he is right is to question sanity. I don't know what he does from the moment he gets up to the moment he goes to bed but while he was here and reading his posts (and your replies!) it was like visiting the insane asylum.

Take EVERYTHING he says with a grain of salt and do not for one moment think he is sane because by doing so you'll be just as insane.

I think you have to sort through some of John"s BS like a soul catcher on the moon to get to the real story.

He is a smart man and he uses BS to cover himself so that he does not get into trouble with the goverment ie he obtains an inside story and adds the glitter and the crazy claims to smoke screen the delicate info.

I dont mind the fella atleast he calls a spade a spade its a bit of a shame he got himself banned, but as some have mentioned he does love the fame and certainly does not do it for the dollars.

I found it amazing that he was always going on about how he was going away for a while to his goldmine. Yet he was constantly on here everyday coming up with his BS. He must have had some mighty fine internet connection down that mine.

I'm glad he's gone. Great pilot or not, we don't need his kind round here.
