I think the saddest part of all this is that the feelings of pure hate the Jews, Palestinians, certain Muslim groups, etc. have for one another all stems from religion. The real "sad" thing is that all religions profess possessing a demeanor which is the completely opposite of extremism.
I do not personally believe it the Bible, God, or anything even close to Theology. I feel it is a nice fairy tale and the biggest money making corporation in the world. Never-the-less, what we face is complete and utter hatred stemming from religious poisioning. Children are schooled in an Anti-Americanism Theology as soon as they can read. American kids fantasize about being Spiderman, Superman, etc...Well kids in the Middle East fantasize about becoming a martyr. The only real way to deal with that is the complete sanitation of a society. Either you control the country and what the people believe, see, read, etc... or you get rid of it when it consistently threatens you. The areas of the Middle East where all these issues arise, are areas where the people will never change the way they feel about the people they hate. It is their "Pop Culture" and will be as long as it is curriculum in their educational systems. This is only the beginning, if you have never personally witnessed these things first hand, you might have a hard time wrapping your mind around it, but the schools are only the indoctrination. Families, friends, co-workers, etc...All perpetuate this idealism and it soon becomes a lifestyle and who they are. Parents pray their children will die killing Jews, Americans, etc... All while dying a Martyr's death. Families earn incomes this way. That entire part of the world is in total chaos and disorder. The ruling families are corrupt, politicians are weak, and the people are crazy!
The best scenario would be for the President to recall the troops. Afterwards, the Israeli's execute an all out nuclear assault on Iran. At the same time the U.S. should explode multiple "dirty bombs" in the surrounding countries which tend to be inviting to extremists (claiming radiation from the Israeli Nukes) and we could rid that entire region of the world from "most" of the problems our world face.
Call it... "Selective Unmasking"
I can tell you that if we don't kill them first...We'll pay in the end.

If war was to break out between israel and iran, undoubtedly we'd be drawn into it, as well as a multititude of other countries. Yeah it would probably be world war 3,

ISRAEL? You mean the ones who got their butts whipped by the terrorists? No it's more likely the US goes to war with Iran. And if that is the case we will stomp them. C'mon they have no answers to our military technology.......

The bigger question is which philosophy is better?? Try to change Iran ourselves or contine to hold the hope that the change will soon come from within...

But back to the subject, no WW3. Rather, we bomb any dangerous facilities they have and if they reliate we bomb them into oblivion. Bush might be an airhead but this guy Ahmedajad is a cult dictator. It's not in our interest to let Iran get nuclear weapons. But the US should start disabling their own thousands of warheads to spearhead the movement and be a good example.

I find the time to keep up with football, however.

I just don't get it... Why can the US not rein in their pitbull here?

I'm afraid that you've got it backwards, the USA is Israel's attack dog. That’s what we’re doing in Iraq, fighting a war for Israel.

I see Israel attacking Iran, and Iran attacking back. This would bring the US into it, and as soon as China and Russia know that their oil interests in Iran are threatened then they will be in there too. I think you could then count on the Iraqis getting more intense with their attacks. All of a sudden you have a full blown war and I am not too sure what happens next. Would China use this as the perfect time to take Taiwan? What would Europe do? This would make for some interesting alliances I think.

This is how I see it as well, but I think that the alliances are set. It's going to be Russia-China-Iran against USA/Israel, and whoever else we can trick into helping. And if the nukes do start flying, don't be surprised if India and Pakistan try to settle old scores.

Uh, you do realize the difference between bombing nuclear facilities under construction and bombing a working reactor right? That could make Chernobyl look like a popcorn fart.

This is boring. Everybody who has nukes should just launch them all.

Better idea : all the world leaders, and governments and parliaments and whatever else, should go into a giant Coliseum arena and fight to the death. I will surely be among the spectators, enjoying the show

Now that would be worth getting the popcorn ready for!

Ok, I know once I see the term I am going to feel like an idiot for asking, but my poor little brain just cannot make "CT" stand for anything at the moment. (Its been an interesting day
)

What is CT? Anyone?

could there be another reason for this attackig and ramsacking of Iraq?

coul the need to go to Iran be because the didn't find what they are looking for?

didn't the sumarians come from that region? could there be something that they need to protect themselves from the coming plant X?

Could the NWO master believe that who ever is in control there will be seen as kings of the world ?

While my gut tells me the incidents mentioned above by Shar are most definitely correlated, I just had to pause and wonder, perhaps all this increased warmongering rhetoric is simply to distract the public from the release of the Scott McClellan book, and all his intriguing assertions regarding this admin. Seems to have worked like a charm, if that was the intent.

I can only hope this war stays between Iran and Isreal. I is going to happen though. I fear that the temptation for Iranian air defense forces will be too great and they will shoot down a F-18, pulling us into it.

This time though, Owen Wilson will get killed.

I will say it again...

... War is only unavoidable when the politicians say it is.

Violence should be the act of last resort... not the act of first choice.

If any of these idiots actually sat down and started seriously talking with each other instead of saber rattling the world would be in a much better place.

I say lock all the buggers (and that is not to say anything bad about buggers, some of my best friends are buggers) from all sides in a room together with a nice little arsenal to sort things out with and when someone finally emerges...

... kill them.

... and before anyone starts... I am no friend of the Iranian regime... I am just not blinded by blind ideology.

Well said. Finally someone with an IQ higher than 50!

A lot of dumb posters on ATS...a site which prides itself in DENYING IGNORANCE.

Yeah they are going to bomb SUPPOSED nuclear facilities that are probably 100 meters below ground with bunker buster bombs that can only penetrate 5-10 meters maximum.

IMO, Israel and USA should never attack Iran even if Iran threatens to attack. 90% are shiites, AND PRO GOVERNMENT, which means they will throw EVERYONE into the ground campaign making it HELL.

Do you guys realize that during the iraq-iran war the iranian government used children to clear mine fields so that their tanks could move through?

These people are fanatics in the true sense. And then the terror option. Oh boy; not a few hundred anymore but MILLIONS.

The price of gas will undoubtedly be over 200 euros a barrel. Yeah euros because the dollar is going to be worth less than a PESO!

Not to mention a VERY POSSIBLE NUCLEAR STRIKE from the east.

So is it worth starting a HISSY FIT over a little name calling? I doubt it!

Stop the madness before it is too late!

According to our patron saint, zach sitchin, nuclear war occured in this same region in around 2200 bc and also in the andes.

History repeats, and "All history begins at Sumer..."

Earth citizen is so right, like a school yard fight about to happen because

of chips on shoulders brushed off, it seems inevitable if not preordained.

This time nuclear is not unthinkable, the rand groups thought it about 1 year ago.

Forget about the hollywood crapheads, they are all nuts (to quote my

sister in malibu). A nuke going off ANYWHERE will CHANGE LIFE

FOREVER AS WE KNOW It!

What was it john connor kept saying over and over...

"no fate but what you

make, no fate but what you make...."

This is all falling into place like a bad John Titor movie.

What next - olympics stopped due to nuclear war?

the pyramids damaged in a nuclear campaign?

All of these facts are listed, elsewhere, on ats from years ago,

on the titor archive!

Now, about predictions NOT coming true most of the time...wouldn't

it just suck if his came true? I don't need that, thanks.

That is a very good point and it just goes on China and Taiwan, North and south Korea, Indonesia and Australia, Beruit and Israel, Pakistan and India and the list goes on
