Creationists Will Destroy ATS

Asty has his vote in for a philosophy and psychology thread, as proposed by Skywatching. It's my earnest belief that any creationist currently posting to this thread, should not post in those threads at all. For the following reasons:

1. He will use it as evidence that the people who call themselves creationist christians, are really trying to ruin the board. He will demand that any topic that strays into "ancient history" be posted in philosophy and then fuss when you do.
2. He will generate psycho babble to try to cover up that 5300 years of history I mentioned above, even as it is being dug up from the ground, and call you delusional and emotionally-handicapped because you believe it happened.
3. And thirdly he will make every attempt to get you to make a mistake so you'll be removed from ATS, thereby solving his "problem"

i don't mind when people have a different viewpoint, and even don't mind when that viewpoint is negative, but what i do mind is seeing obvious cover-up of all our ancient history. It's a travesty that it's treated so flippantly

Undo is a rare but integral part of the family of theist's and one of the most intelligent people you will meet on thise boards.

I believe she is a special force in in spiritual warfare for those unique cases where ones Christian walk for instance, gets mundane or they reach a stagnant point in their Christian studies.

10 or 15 mins reading any of Undo's posts will have you fascinated with Christianity all over again if not more than ever before. her area of expertise I would think takes more courage to discuss candidly as it is one that attracts more ridicule making her the target of jokes stares and hostilty by those who would regret saying one terse word had they an understanding of the information she has spent so long researching.

I'm pretty sure it was from Pastor Arnold Murray, during one of his teachings a while back. I don't recall which book he was in or if it was when he was responding to letters from listeners.

I don't' know about the creationists will destroy ATS aspect of this thread, but I do agree with the OP that ATS has taken a downward spiral.

Because of the broader array of posters ATS has been growing at an almost exponential rate... thus there are bound to be many changes.

The once thriving small family like board is gone sadly.... don't get me wrong I still love ATS, but the constant petty bickering.. that is trolls who derail the threads has to stop.

I have yet to find a recent thread where there isn't one person who tries to derail the thread because of petty nonsense.

Just my 2 cents.

i don't like jung's teachings. jung pays too much attention to the phallice.
he ruined dune. seriously. herbert's fascination with jung's
man/woman interplay, really screwed up the series, else they
would've been nigh on perfect.

other than that, i haven't the foggiest what you're talking about! my
interest is ancient history but not ancient philosophy (well, i admit to
having a smidgen of knowledge on the topic of the ancient egyptian
philosophy and biblical philosophy but the ancient middle east, near and far east is about where my philosophical interest ends... well i take that back, i'm also interested in the americas - south, central, north, prior to the arrival of columbus).

I, too hate Jung and Freudian 'philosophy'.
You are not alone.

The only reason I know a little about it is because ALL those years in psychoanalysis, the only thing I realized is my dreams were usually NOTHING, except that some combination of medications gave me more vivid dreams. My life still seemed useless upon waking.

I couldn't agree with you more. I am relatively new here, and only found the site because I googled "lunar landing conspiracy" after watching a documentary on the topic and thirsting for more information.

I am surrounded by people (here in the "bible belt") who will not even discuss the possibility of extraterrestrials, a UFO/lunar base conspiracy, life on Mars, etc, etc, etc. I was so excited to find this site where I could converse with people who shared some of my ideas and were willing and able to discuss them freely. I was elated to enter topic after topic in the search engine and get a wealth of information on subjects that I wasn't even aware others dared speak of!

Then, I came across my first radical creationist. Now, in this person's defense, I think I stumbled into the forum by accident (when I was still learning my way around in here), and I'm quite certain it was in the Creationism forum.

But - OMG..these people are relentless! You can't escape them!

That's not a stereotype, that's a fact in my own life and you don't know me personally. Jesus - don't immediately jump to the defensive. Oh, and I love how you give yourself a thumbs up.
