I believe in aliens "cause I seen fake pictures posted on the internets."

LMAO. This thread wasn't already decided during the OP, was it?

I have felt from an early age that i am a contactee and that i have been throughout my lifetime. A few months ago myself and my 2 adult children living with me had very intense vivid dreams on the same night, we woke up the next morning with no power and the electric company was removing a transformer from the pole outside our home because it had "malfunctioned". Seemed odd that we all had a very intense vivid dream on the same night yet none of us could recall any details of the dream.
For the next few weeks I consciously demanded that the ET's show themselves to me while i was consious, i told them i was sick of them always coming to me in my sleep and challenged them to show themselves to me.
Within a few weeks time i had 2 sightings.
The second one of particular interest.
It was an orange'ish light surrounded by white light which moved across the sky at a tremendous speed, I remember thinking to myself if this thing were to change directions suddenly i would know it was them. No sooner had this thought entered my mind the object did a little wiggle, continued straight for a second then dissappeared. I believe.

You know which box has the lizard because it is you who put the 100 boxes down in the first place.

So, you are God because it is you who presented the puzzle. Only you know which box is the heaviest.
Scientists are not gods. They did not present the puzzle or the question, Scientists do not know the answer. Man is not God. We do not know the answer because we did not present the puzzle or the question.

Scientists simply extrapolate models from Earth-based realities for application on extraterrestrial worlds.
'Oh hey microorganisms can survive near hot undersea thermal methane vents so they must be able to survive on a planet with similar conditions.'

What about planets with atmospheres mostly of methane? How do we know if an variant gas layer of Jupiter's hundreds of thousands of miles- atmosphere contains an realm where microorganisms or even winged/ floating creatures exist?

It makes sense. Given the size of the universe it is highly probable that we are not alone in it. Given that there are probably many universes in different dimensions, and that energy = life, it leads to the logical conclusion that there must be life other than just us earthlings.

Oh .. and yes I have seen two UFOs in my life.
But that doesn't enter into why I believe there are ETs.

I've seen total of 4 crafts. One was white/silver cigar shaped. The other 3 were actually one shiny orange white ball that split into 3 separate ones. Also because its IGNORANT to say only intelligent life could have developed here. Its plain illogical. The odds are too high. Plus we cant say there isn't any intelligent life because theres nothing to back it up with.

Well the simple fact that there are planets that are millions of years older than Earth. It isn't hard to come to the conclusion that there IS life out there. Maybe it is microbial or advanced. Maybe some advanced life engaged in nuclear war and completely destroyed themselves and thats why we have found no remnants. We don't know. Alien life can even me extra-dimensional!

I think aliens 'probably' exist because there are how many hundreds of billions of stars in all the multiverses? ... and if life can start here then why not out there, and if theres none out there then isnt it a lonely old place.. what is it doing? is it all there for us here? are we going to fill it all? we are not even visible a few miles away.. we are in the nothingness........ we maybe dont exist to some other civilisations just like they dont exist to us cause we dont see them.

Science measures everything and if its not measurable its not 'existing' [for the black and white record] But even they know they havnt the measuring sticks to see the bigger picture.

So thats why I think its pretty shallow and selfish to think hardcorely that they dont exist... it strikes me as 'fear'. And Im not affraid. Tho I may be seeing something.. depends what it is

Well i personally believe that they exist for the pure fact that we cannot be the only living organisms in this vast universe and to think that we are kind of makes you ignorant.

I believe in them because I have touched there ships and been inside them
I have also had contact with the crews of the ships.

SIX reasons why UFOs don't exist (UFOS mean as alien vehicles)

1. Debunking the "U.S. Government conspiracy theory"
Just think, for the U.S. government to conspire to keep UFOs and alien knowledge from the general public, there has to be a perfect intergovernmental world conspiracy.

North Korea - hates the U.S. but co-operates with it on UFOs. Cuba - same thing, Old Soviet Union during the cold war- same thing, Many Arab countries - same thing. A lot of countries are in constant conflict all around the world, but when it comes to UFOs they are united even when they are at war. If there is an advantage to exposing the existence of UFOs to irritant their enemies, they won't take it.

Just think UFOs are uniting the world !!!!!

Let's face it, there is no government conspiracy except when it may be useful for the US military to keep the public thinking it's weapons research are UFOs as an extra measure of secrecy in case some of it's citizen's inadvertently spot a secret project.

Just within the past year some European governments have completely disclosed everything they know about UFOs. What kind of evidence did they reveal? Same old testimonial evidence with no real hard core physical evidence.

2. Debunking the "Scientist are 'scared of ridicule' theory"

According to UFO alien theorists, scientist are afraid to admit that UFOs exist because they are afraid of ridicule. But on the other hand, Scientists cheat and lie to gain fame and positions and grants for all kinds of research and investigations. It's a big and well known problem in the scientific community.
So a discovery in UFOs would be a big thing and would make any scientist world famous.....yet virtually all scientists stay away from this. Why? Because they know its pseudo-science (belief system masquerading as science) - and they know that people are very foolish and can believe in anything - not because they are "afraid of ridicule".
Why should any scientist be afraid of ridicule if they can prove that UFOs and aliens exist ?????

3. SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Life U.S. government program)

The NASA used to spend millions of dollars to study signals from alien worlds. Why if they have some UFO hotrod parked out in the back of the 'White House' would they have spent all this money?

4. Evidence is only testimonial

The only evidence for the existence of aliens and UFOs for the past 100 years or so is simply people's testimonials. No hard physical evidence has ever shown up. UFO "enthusiasts" claim the government is conspiring to keep it out of our hands.
Yet the U.S. government is a leaky sieve that constantly loses secrets all the time. Other governments also presumably conspire to keep alien knowledge secret. But the U.S. government can't control all these other countries to prevent their UFO secrets from leaking out. Despite the fact that there have been claims of tens of thousands of aliens coming here, there has not been a single instance of an alien physical object falling into the hands of an independent or university lab.

The perfect conspiracy again?

5. 1950s stories

Stories of UFOs and alien spaceships abounded in the 1950s. The Aliens were among us and came from within the Solar system. They were from Venus, Mars and the outer moons of Jupiter and Saturn. The government as usual was conspiring to keep this information from us but the proof that they came from these planets was out there somewhere. There were even a few religions founded by this phenomenon. Then the United States and Russia started sending probes to explore these planets and found them very inhospitable to life, all of a sudden these aliens were quietly moved out of the neighborhood to other star systems. Now all aliens travel faster than light and come from far away.
Of course the "proof" is still out there somewhere just further away, thats all.

You guys got it all wrong. I don't believe that the universe is infinite at all. During my OOBE I actually went to the end of the universe and was told many things. Spoke about it already on another thread. Let's just assume that you already know my story. the point is, I believe the universe has an end.

To base your entire belief on ET's based on chances and numbers is the wrong way to go. just because there are trillions of stars out there does NOT mean that each one of those stars have life. Numbers are meaningless. It can be any number, 1-1,000.000. numbers do not give you the asnwer. How do you even know that the earth is not the center of the universe? you don't know that. take any number between 1 and one trillion. and the chances of all of those planets having life have no numbers. I can also say that

"The more stars there are, the lower chance of life on those stars."

So you see just because the universe is large does not answer the question for you. Some of you talk about life on this Solar system, like microbes and water molecules. I was talking about ET's that actually walk and talk like the greys and such.

Saying that, I think you all failed to look inside you and give me the right asnwer!

You believe in Extra Terrestrials because you have faith.

I didn't say that 'each of those stars have life'. I said that - given the size of the universe(s) and given the chances .. it is highly likely that there is life other than just us.

That wasn't the question.

The question was - Why do you believe in Extra Terrestrials. Life elsewhere. Life other than earthlings.

Natural laws of the universe are simply defined by man, once the science is understood.Gravity is one example.Hold a rock in your hand, let it go and it hits the ground. That force so to speak was finally defined by Newton, even though it has been working around the universe since it's inception.
Now lets deal with the natural law of life forms.First off, never ever singular. That is,a diverse quantity always exists, when life is allowed to flourish.Recently we have found life forms that are thriving in very hostile conditions such as,the bottom of the ocean, near vents. No light, but chemical support.
On this planet,as on others, there will be only one rock, one tree, one molecule of water, one grain of sand.......Op p's wrong, hundreds of millions of said items. Now to go around and disdain the comment that since no evidence exists is just, plain ignorant and a lack of understanding how the universe works.
Math by the way is a pure science. It can not be reputed. It has only been in the last ten years that we have confirmed that other planets do go around stars, and that theses solar systems are natural Phenomenon.Natural law again. That being said no one believed that possible twenty years ago, because there was no proof.
Too think that life would only be here on earth and no other place in the universe is well, childish, and self centered.
If that were the case,we would only see one star in the sky,and no others.
How blind we are even with sight.Time is on my side in this argument,as it will be only a matter there of, to confirm just that.

Peace and Mercy

Unfortunately, your experiences only count as anecdotal evidence - about as reliable as Spielberg's ET
It's sooo easy for us to be confused about what we experience. So far, no-one's been able to prove OoBEs even happen, and considering how fantastically simple it would be to prove they do happen, is highly suspicious.

No. Our senses can be fooled far too easily - personal experience is FAR from enough to believe in aliens. It's enough to get you researching, but not enough to instantly jump to the conclusion of "aliens exist". That's about as far from being objective as possible.

Oh - and I did see a UFO once.

Very clearly - 4 in the afternoon - bright clear skies - only a high layer of wispy clouds.

A self illuminating disk. Very distinct yellow/white illuminating glow.

No sound - moved slowly across the sky - stopped - then shot straight up (and I do mean straight) - eventually through the high wispy clouds - then I could not see it anymore.

Not one of ours - at least not in this time zone.

Not even true in the slightest. I'll use for example the SR71 Blackbird, and the F117A.

Both exist. Both were out 'in the field' doing testing and in actual flight time before they were known to the public. Both were hidden from the public for years. No international conspiracy required.

BESIDES - and this is key... You are saying this as a response to UFOs being Alien Spacecraft. The US Govt (or any govt for that matter) is not required to even know anything about such craft for those craft to exist, and to be Alien.

You see, when you're trying to prove a point, it's usually helpful to argue with relevence to the point.

Once again, Alien Spaceships can (and likely do) exist regardless of whether or not a Human Scientist has 'proof' of it.

Do you deny the existence of black holes? How about the existence of Neutrinos?

Both of these phenomenon have only been 'observed' by Humans, and neither have been 'captured' and 'studied/displayed'.

So does that make them fictional? Of course not. And neither does your point #2 prove anything regarding the possibility of Alien craft.

LOL so the lack of SETI, just 1 method of searching for possible signals on a frequency we ourselves hardly make use of anymore (Radio waves) in the electromagnetic spectrum, pointed at just a TINY fraction of the sky at any given time, not happening to find a needle in a haystack cinched it up for you did it?

LOL. Not only have there been several possible signals detected (they just haven't been repeated, so we don't call them 'confirmed') But your argument is ridiculous on it's face.

We've only even been conducting SETI for a few decades. Do you have any concept at all of the vastness of space and time?

WOW.

Complete and utter rubbish. There is documented evidence in the form of Radar Returns, Photographs, Video, etc. Anyone paying attention to the phenomenom at all knows this.

If you really are this unaware of the actual research being done in this field, and the evidence available, click on the link in my signature and prepare to have your mind blown

Well now come on. Sci Fi from the 1950's doesn't prove anything either. This is not a proof of anything.

Especially pertaining to the Battle of Los Angeles in 1942.

Wait, is that the end? I thought there were 6 reasons?
Actually looking over your post, I see 0 actual proofs.

But what was I really expecting from someone who won't even bother to sign up for a free ATS account? LOL.
