I have a minor request.

I'd like to see the "About" and "Get ATS" menu options moved after the "Search" option.

I'm finding that 50% of the time, I'm hitting GET ATS, instead of myATS.

Frustrating that I cant train my feeble mind to do otherwise.

Can you save me from myself, please?

The "My ATS" tab, for me at least, is in between "recent posts" and "tools"

Are your tabs different?

If you look closely, you'll notice a planned-logic behind the order, or at least the groupings, of the primary menu buttons.

Everything from "HOME" to "GET ATS" provides access to upper-tier content outside the /forum/ or discussion board areas of the site.

Everything from "FORUMS" to "LOG OUT" (even for guests) provides access to second-tier content inside the /forum/ site directory.

It's a much more semantic menu structure, consistent across all areas of the site, than what we had previously.

I fully understand.

The request is a selfish one. I just keep mindlessly clicking on the GET ATS button instead of myATS.

I guess some old dogs can't learn new tricks.

Overall, fantastic look and feel, SO.

Thanks for the consideration.

Have a sig issue. Everytime I update my sig and hit "submit", all commas get removed and get replaced by spaces. I have hand-typed the quote in Notepad to ensure that we aren't dealing with some special word processor comma. Any idea what's going on?

Does that mean it is gone for good? I have to admit I guess I limit myself. I often found myself wandering aimlessly through a thread that got too far off topic or too dry and would kind of glaze over, looking for anything that might strike my eye. Now if I saw a "friend" or a "foe" I would stop and specifically check that post for something I might not have otherwise because I must have put them on either list for some reason so I can at least count on them to be interesting. That often actually drew me back into a thread that was failing to catch my interest as I would then want to read more what lead up to that post and what might follow it. Call it limited but sometimes threads do get caught in pages of peripheral encyclopedic recitations of facts that are barely interesting or presented in that fashion. I am sure that is probably just me though.

So does that mean it is no more? Will there be something else to replace that?

Firstly I must say that I love the new profiles.

What I would like to address is the fact when we go to look at our 'posts'...the links don't work...well, not for mine.

Is there any chance to get our friends lists on there as well please?

Friend list answer here

Friends lists are apparently being reworked. Looks like we'll get them back in a new and improved format.

NEW ISSUE TODAY>>>>
Hi Mods,

Since the upgrade I have been getting teh 404 screen anytime I edit a post. If I navigate back around to the thread, the edit has taken effect, but I am not returned to the screen after I submit the edit.

Now, today, I am geting the 404 screen when I click on MyATS, and when I click on a couple of the topics on the front page? Perhaps those threads have been removed, I don't know, but since the MyATS and Edit pages are messed up as well, I am assuming there is a bigger problem.

SO, This is the fourth time I've asked this without a response.

Are the menus staying as they are now, or are the drop down menus coming back?

Please can someone who knows the answer to this reply?

ATS, there is a major problem happening...

I tested this with Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer. I have been getting 404 error like the member a few posts above have mentioned.

When I first start the web browser, and then type "abovetopsecret.com" in the URL, and go to it, then I click "Log In".. I get a 404 error. I noticed the URL says this:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The above URL doesn't exist.

The weird part is, when I click "Recent Posts", then I click "Log In", it successfully redirects me to the login URL.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

After that, I have no problems, however, if I close the browser (or delete cookies) and then go back to ATS home and click "Log In" I will get the 404 error again because of the wrong URL.

When I hover my mouse over the "Log In" button, the URL on the bottom status bar says "http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/login.php", but when I click on the button, it opens up the URL "http://www.abovetopsecret.com/login.php" which gives a 404 error.

The "/forum/" part of the URL is missing.

This happens on a LOT of other links besides the "Log In". I can't even click any headlines on the Home page, it will show a 404 error because it sends me to a URL without the "/forum/" part of the URL.

Right now, on the ATS Home page, one of the top topics is this:

abovetopsecret.com...

When I click on the link it sends me here:

abovetopsecret.com...

It is missing the "/forum/" part, and gives a 404.

This is a major error on ATS. Hope this posts helps you find the problem.

I made a quick video showing the errors I describe above:

Notice the "/forum/" directory missing from the URL.

Also notice when I click "Recent Posts" and then "Log In", the error goes away until I close and reopen the browser, then it comes back.

Has uploading media been suspended temporarily? I get as far as a page asking me to toggle sharing options and can't go further.

I tried it with Opera and Firefox...no joy.

I have a question.
Can something be done regarding PROOF in thread titles and not presenting it in the OP?
Theories are not proof. As a wise man once said, it really grinds my gears.

I have just become aware of the thread alert button for he first time thorugh my activities in the following thread:

ATS Quality of Content

When will this feature be fixed? I am going to try and become a more active member of the community by helping to police the boards, a sort of home guard if you will because the threads in the wrong place, repeating of threds etc. is becoming endemic.

I read back a few pages and couldn't find any mention of this.
I was playing in my photo album, and noticed I couldn't find any way to delete pics anymore.
