That's not going to happen, it'd just open up a whole can of worms where people would try and get everyone to vote about any mods descision. If you're really that worked up about it, send a complaint. Heck if you're that concerned about the points, I give permission for you to have 1000 of mine.

Not too sure what has happened but if a 500 post minimum is required then i would assume out of the thousands and thousands of threads within this site you should perhaps try and interact into several and before long that 500 number will seem as an obsolete number.

Bit off the chat subject.....but I have an issue...

I inadvertantly...clicked on a red(-) sign on the "recent posts" tab..

Now if I want to see all threads, I have to click on the "show removed forums" thats beside the page #'s on the recent post tab...
TY in advance for any help...

Any suggestions on my problem with the "quote", "reply" and "edit" tabs that I posted on the previous page?

A small suggestion for you:

You know how when you go into a new thread and you decide the OP has made a good thread so you Star, Flag and Subscribe to it?

How about a little "S-F-S" button at the top that does all three functions at once with one click?

the chat being gone is going to lead to an influx of useless posts.


and its going to lower the quality of discussions significantly. and it will also create an influx of alternate accounts.

The post-count limit for chat has been reduced to 100, with this new warning appearing when users enter Chat:

I hope this works out well. My suggestion is for all the chat regulars to moderate chat and when newer members are there and may not realize that some topics are not to be dissused in chat . Just let em know that some `personal practices ` are not open for discussion in ats chat and then , hopefully problem solved)

Just a suggestion about the WATS index: shouldn't flags count more than stars?

Currently, the formula seems to be:
WATS = flags * stars / 200,000

I'd suggest something like:
WATS = (flags * 10 + stars) / 100

Not sure what happened but my "quote", "reply" and edit functions seem to be working again.
I think some how it was tied up with the "chat issue". Because they stopped working with my 200th post. And now are working since the chat issue has been resolved.
But if anyone did help resolve the problem, I would like to thank who ever you are.
Thought my post were invisible as well as not being able to use the post sub-functions.

The formula is actually.

Flags * 5 * stars /1000000 = WATS rating.
If I'm not mistaken.

I deleted my avatar to change it - I embedded the link to the one I wanted - clicked submit and it didn't work. Thinking maybe I forgot a step I clicked on the Avatar Tutorial but got a page asking if I was 18 - tutorial not there. Could you post the current tutorial here please, thank you.

Just copy the URL (http....) located under the image and paste that into the Avatar section.

Idid that, it didn't work but I will try again - thanks!
