Has anyone figured out why some ghost sightings has no legs

HOLY CHEESECAKE! This is the first time for me on this site, that gives me a darn good feeling that we have actually stumbled across something truly special!

My experience,

I was about eight years old and we were hanging around in a friends place, with my best friend, and we were playing hide and seek, well we stopped playing because we could not find anyone in this big old house.

So after a while, me and my best friend walked down the stairs, when we stop- because a ghost of a young boy runs across the floor before us, and entering a room, we followed it because our confused brains told us, that it had to be one of our friends, but when we entered the room, it was totally empty, because of renovation, no one there.

And you guessed it, it had no arms and no legs below the elbow and knee.

I reminded my old friend of this incident, when we were eighteen, and he went pale and said,
-yes i remember, how could i forget, i do not want to think or speak about it ever again.

So boom two more witnesses. It looks like this is a real thing!

What in the bleep happens to us in the afterlife?

I have had multiple experiences with seeing ghosts with my own eyes. Several cases have been where I have seen them with friends or my wife. Every one I have seen have been transparent. I have noticed that not every ghost and orb I could not catch with my eyes but with a smart phone and flashlight aiming into the camera of my phone at an angle. Through experimentation and experience I am led to believe that anyone can see a ghost or orbs if they pay attention at the right times with a certain amount of light at an angle.

I have had two experiences seeing ghosts with no legs. Both were caught in headlights. Once while seated in my car with a friend seeing the same thing. We were at a campground an hour away from home. As I was reversing to the left, he was VERY NOTICEABLE and stood out like white paint on a black paper. He turned toward us as he appeared to shrug his shoulders and duck his head (just like you would do if you became startled), he had very long arms that spread a just a bit and he was cut off at the waist. He was in front of the tree line at this time it seemed and he was floating about between 15-20 feet in the air. Once he turned toward us in surprise, he quickly turned away and started swaying his long arms as he, not quickly but not to slowly (at the speed as if you actually took off running) swaying his arms away to the left through the trees disappearing. First thing I noticed was my friend in shock, with tears in his eyes. I am very certain from the great detail we seen that he was a male.

Second experience, my wife and I were sitting on the front porch. This was at night time also. I tend to see apparitions in the street in front of our house that sets about 30 feet from the road, but this time, a car directly across the street was backing out of the driveway and when the peripheral of the headlights reached the street we both seen, as clear as day, a woman with long hair, cut off at the waist, hovering about 12 feet in the air, long arms, about 20 feet in front of the car, turn away from mine and her direction and face the headlights, and flew towards the neighbors car and vanish back into the darkness. I had previously told her about the story of my friend and I seeing the man with no legs, but this experience proved to her with substantial evidence that I was telling the truth even though she believed me.

I once snapped a photo standing at the top of the staircase as I was explaining to my step brother n law the previous phenomenon we had the night before. The staircase turns a 90° angle a third of the way up with a banister handrailing, no wall. In the photo there was an orb in the corner of the walls and to the right, there was a floating head about 6 inches from the top of the middle landing where the staircase turned a 90. Thats right, A FLOATING HEAD! This was very special. You could see every detail in this floating head, but it wasn't a normal head. This head had a very tall cone to a sharp point at the top, resembled a lot like a hood of a kkk klansmen, but it wasn't a hood! It was part of the head. Zooming in on the photo, you could clearly see his forehead, the bridge of his eyebrow, his eyebrow, the bridge of his nose, his nostrils with even the shadows inside his nostrils, his lips, his chin, and his jaw bone. But let me tell you about his smile. It wasn't an ordinary smile. It looked evil, elongated, his mouth was wide open and you could see his teeth. The end of his lips curved upward almost touching his earlobe, in which I forgot to mention, you could see the shape and details of his ears as well. This was by far the scariest thing I had ever seen in a picture before besides what a friend of mine took once with his friends at a graveyard and you could see a red face with a horn and next to that face, to the side and upward a tad bit, was a bright white orbish outline of the shape of his head including the horn!!!!

Dock, I think you might be right. My conclusions might be leading me to believe that it is perhaps the witness and not the ghost, that decides how they should appear. But if that's the case, could it be.... that this is all in our head? The idea that we decide how ghosts manifest, could lead us into evidence that ghosts and spirit manifestation might be the trick of the mind? But then... how do you explain physical manifestation of hauntings, liking moving objects, and sounds.

Just like you and your friend, me and my friend and my wife and I ha e seen ghosts at the same time. With that substantial evidence that we both seen the same thing, this proves to me that it just isn't in our head. I was lucky enough to witness two sperate spirits, one a male, the other a female, both cut off at the waist hovering anywhere between 12-20 feet off the ground. Please, read my last post. I do have other experiences as well.

These are just a few I searched up, If you comb through the paranormal studies form you will come across some stories from people as well with this phenomenal, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought about this am I? I've actually had a friend who had an "incident" where she saw an apparition of a man with no legs as well. I've come across a few stories from people regarding this. Why is this?

Nemox, what happens to us in the afterlife? I am very certain. Let me share this experience with you. A year ago almost I had become very depressed, family issues that interferred with my job, bla bla bla.. I hung myself. Where I did I didn't ha e much slack to break my neck so I pretty much died from strangulation. The coroner was on his way to put me in a body bag. Here was my experience. It happened outside real late and it was dark. I didn't remember hearing any noises before I pursued to take my life, "elsewhere". I was out in no time, I felt myself jerk like a seizuring motion, but nothing like I felt later on. I was ejected from my body and I don't remember seeing much but I can tell you that the physics on the other side are very much different. I was grabbed and I did happen to notice something very strange that I didn't collect much detail from that appeared to look like glowing hands. At the point in time I heard a very, very unbearable, inconsistent "roar" that it seemed I heard through vibration. The only way I know how to explain this is that- There is no computer or program that could recreate this. If it had came from the moon, it would have bursted our eardrums here on earth. I took it as if it were the devil not getting what he wanted. As I was grabbed and pulled, I felt an enormous amount of force, straight back, being pulled also to the left, but at the same time, it felt as if I was traveling very slow in distance. The next part I experienced was whatever little bit of existence was left of me, was now inside my hanging, lifeless body. Then instantly, I felt about 13 impacts on and all over my body, I remember being hit on my legs, my side, once in my head, and on my arms, and THEN I WOKE!!! I remained hanging on the extension cord that I used that I deliberately and intentionally stretched beforehand because I knew the rubber and copper would stretch. Before I hung, I could not breathe, I could feel my face swelling before I engaged my weight and what little room I had to drop from the ceiling hoist I used to hang from in an outside building. But when I came back, I was still hanging, the cord was stretched EVEN MORE, and it felt like I had I had 100% oxygen in my lungs. I was actually worked back to life and I didn't feel out of breath at all. First thing I did was reach around, and I realized I may never get that thing back off from around my neck. I had wrapped it around several times, pulled it through, wrapped it more, pulled it through, about 3 times and until it was around my neck about 10 times. So then I reached around in hope that I could get it off, and amazingly, it seemed the know just fell apart in my hands with little effort and I unraveled it off, dropping myself to the ground. I suffered from bloody red eyes for months before they cleared up. More detail? It felt like every impact I received before I came back to life, I could feel my body on the outside of me jumping very hard, each impact felt like positive energy filled with realizations and hope. This was by far the most mysterious experience of my life and proved to me that angels and the devil actually DO EXIST. I try to live better now and I will continue to. What ever I heard, I never ever want to see.
