The difference between me believing that God (whatever that is) exists and you telling me it doesn't cause I can't show you proof is that I won't try to MAKE you or attack you or force you to believe in Him by using arguments like "But hey, he's all around us, in a flower, in a stone, in a grass etc.".

I know that I don't have the proof, so I'd respect your opinion as such and just leave it be there. What else could I do?

Yeah, I checked all of my posts and saw no MOD edit, but in case I missed something, I asked kindly thru PM why did I get the warning.

You would be a great discussion starter on a religious thread with the same argument for proof of God. I would watch, but demolition derby’s are boring.

I will pose a question. If aliens indeed come to Earth, not saying they don't exist in other places, but why just hover around in the sky. I mean they are wasting gas, or other energy, just to look at the top of trees. Why not come to a big event, parade, and engage in discussion with us, why hide in the dark.

I mean honestly, if an unknown ship was over U.S. airspace, NORAD will be at Defcon (enter level here), and fighter jets all over it, and it would be all over the news.

I mean look at the news reports about a small commuter plane coming to close to downtown D.C. If they are going to intercept a small plane, I am pretty sure they will intercept a big one.

Your OP is understandable, I said the same thing when I was 10 about God: "If I don't see it, it 'doesn't exist". So I forgive you.

I have seen a number of things that could be regarded as "aliens", but I prefer the term "beings", because there origin is unknown to me. This happens in dreams and meditative states. First, to trigger that part of my consciousness, I had to accept lucid dreams and visions as reality, and in doing so I opened a door. The mental travels seem to keep their fluidity as long as I do not form "hard" conclusions, I noticed. May there is a truth to find there about our ""reality". I seems to fixate itself around implicit conclusions. Once "in", we can't get "out".

Your preferred "hard" evidence (as in existing in the realm of matter) can be found in the eyes, ears, documents and testimonies from all over the world. All those people risk their credibility by coming forward. Who are "we" to say, we do not accept!

On the topic of this discussion you should listen to the description of the "PINEAL GLAND" and the role it plays as "THIRD EYE" in your body and in the symbolic references in the Egyptian culture and the Catholic Church (The Catholic church and the Egyptians?!) And hows about cave paintings going back 20,000 years which look one heck of alot like we've been getting visits for quite some time. And was alexandera the great a big liar when he said he was attacked by big metal shields from the sky?

I would be cautious as a new visitor. Earthlings are in a animalistic state.
1. They run and hide
2. They piss in their pants in fear or drool on your spacesuit in admiration.
3. They turn all religous over you but do not know if you are the devil or an angel.
4. The get their guns, because they think: "Beter safe than sorry", npt knowing guns are never safe.
5. They always say that you are ugly, while they look like a ugly naked apes themselves.
6. They steal your spaceship and question you for eons in a sort of baby talk. (Imagine being interrogated by a three year old in his playing corner for years and you will get the picture, constantly waving his truck at you, saying "urgh...urgh", and when you read his mind you see "how do you guys have fun without sexual organs?").
7. You try to tell them that they have mental and spiritual means beyond believe, the sky is the limit, they are gods within themselves, and the react "Can I touch it, eat it, drive it, ...it?"

I surely would stay high up there and just harvest whatever I needed and try to keep them from infesting the rest of the universe.

I just find it odd, that if over 400+ people have seen an alien, not one person has beaten one up and kept it or got a quick snapshot or something.

There is no evidence there was anything intelligent to discuss. i.e., Can't prove negative.

I personally don't argue advanced theoretical with such base. It's like discussing latest string theory at a Hanna Montana fan club.

Just because of the failure of evidence, doesnt take away belief.

I'm a skeptic, and have trouble in believing any evidence of aliens. I look at a picture and think, how could I fake that?
I still belive in aliens though and that they come here, maybe abducting people for whatever person, just the (photographic) evidence is extremely poor, blurry and usually faked
