As I remember, there were many video's of beheading's coming from "that part of the world" not too long ago.

As I remember, they were all associated with Muslim radicals/terrorists.

As a minor point, it is very reasonable to believe (though not proven) that someone in a country that is 90% one religion, that any given citizen is that religion.

I think what some other posters may be trying to see is a relationship between actions such as these and a geopolitical/religious group.

Here is another article on this horrible crime, there is no reference to the murderer's religion and shows that even the locals were shocked by this man's brutal killing of his nephew.

This man will deserve the justice that he has coming to him.

Regardless of his religious persuasion, here in the US men have tossed babies off of bridges, shot and killed entire families, I don't see anyone asking what religion they belonged to.

They are all sad excuses for the human race, religion has nothing to dowith it.

It goes against TRUE muslims beliefs when innocents are killed, this evenincludes Jihad were women and children will not be touched by any TRUE muslim even those taking part in a holy war.

Sadly muslims have received bad press as of late.

This crime is barbaric, horrific and vile to the point of turning my stomach.... no matter who you are or what religion you are in, the murder of innocents is sickening.

Just because the population is 90% muslim, does NOT mean this is a typical muslim act, far, far from it.

Sad, but the only thought that gives me hope is that little baby is no longer suffering.

OMG. That is one of the most horrable things i have ever heard! And just incase you think its esay, its not, it takes a couple seconds if not a min to fully decapitate someone, even a kid. I can still remeber the video of the journalist a couple years ago that was decapitated...i will never forget that and always regret that.

Chopped off a boys head to get back at the mother. That's logic that can never be comprehended. He'll probably use the honor killing excuse too. Honor Killing the ultimate oxymoron. I hope they behead this guy (slowly) as punishment.

He was still kicking and gurgling when the knife was hacking away at his neck and also the Ken Bigley video, which was equally sick.

I've often tried to imagine what beheading will feel like, and only hope that once the spinal cord is severed then there will be no pain.

The sad thing is, the murderers' beheading will probably be with a sharp blade with one single hack, yet the baby probably died in agony.

There's something really F*$%^d up in this world.

Exactly. Being a beheading does not suddenly make this a "worse killing" in any way at all. It's just as bad as shooting a child. The only reason it seems otherwise to some is because their lives have conditioned them to believe that a child being murdered by gunshot is more socially acceptable that being beheaded. What causes things like this to happen, I call "evil".

I disagree. Shooting is just a click with a finger. No blood, no struggle, no fight.

Beheading a human needs A LOT more (very sickly directed) will power to execute independent of your cultural background.

well said, US "behead" hundreds of them in abortion clinics everyday. what's the arab's stand on abortion?

Ive no idea if Saudi arabia punishes murder by death but if it does this waste of skin deserves it and if its punishable by beheading he deserves it and i wouldn't have an argument against it.

Religion should be a factor here because I guarantee you the shock factor would not be there if the toddler had been an "infidel".
