Really, any religion that actually sayes it's OK to cut off someones head for the slightest indiscretion is a sick & demented religion.

A woman can be decapitated for as little as showing her face in public or speaking back at her MAN or refusing his advances.

You can be decapitated for as little as looking at the wrong person in the wrong way.

HELL, you can even get 20 lashes for farting out loud in some islamic countries..lol

Yeah, what gets me though, is as soon as a post like this appears, a devoted Muslim won't be far behind to defend what the guy did & then tell the rest of us that we "MIS-Enterprit", the things that the Qoran says..

This story is possibly the saddest thing I have ever heard. Obviously this has nothing to do with the man being Islamic and everything to do with him being totally insane.

Things like this do make you wonder about civilization sometimes. I suppose that all you can do/say in a situation like this is be thankful that the vast majority of people are not and never will be capable of such an act.

With respect, the comment that Christianity has a far worse record I believe is incorrect as almost all nations & religions have committed countless atrocities and I don't think any are worse. I do think however, that even if this was true surely it is important that these things do not occur in the west any more?

Obviously I'm discounting the acts of the insane such as this one but some of Saudi Arabia's laws cannot really be compared with any in Europe/North America. This is the 21st century and surely the excuse of 'culture' cannot be used any more?

It has nothing to do with Islam , in fact in that part of the world more than 15 centuries ago before Islam came men used to kill new born girls because they believed that girls were going to bring disgrace to the father but when Islam came the religion prohibited them from doing so.
In this world you will find many crazy people doing something like that or more and I mean every where even in the most civilized countries where it is even much worse

I am sick of all the hate propaganda I hear, the calls for war and genocide.

To the extent that I think violence (against those constantly calling for war and genocide from the safety of their armchairs), frankly, may be the only remaining answer.

When you advocate the murder of a nation, a religion, a people, you should consider your own life forfeit.

If I could go back in time and kill key Nazis, I certainly would.
Killing is bad, allowing a genocide is worse.

Isn't it better to ignore what you know to be propoganda, rather than empowering it by allowing it to elicit such an emotional response from yourself. He knows he got to you now.

I often find myself hitting the 'reply to' button to some propoganda filled post, then closing the window without typing anything. There is no need for me to respond. Others will do this for me, and I dont lower myself to their level.

If it were only speech, I would not care.

But there is a very real danger that these people will get what they want - mass murder on a scale that has not yet been seen in all of human history.

That would be worth killing to prevent - in fact it would be worth dying to prevent.

Considering the fact that in Islamic nations rape victims are the one's punished and beheading infidels is just your every day thing...I'd say it's very probable that this man was a muslim. I'll bet after that husband/wife quarrel was over they awarded that man some sort of islamic pride ribbon.

Ok, although I am not retracting all my previous posts, I am being objective here and will admit that there are indeed whackos and sickos in every society that can snap and kill innocent folks at any time. HOWEVER, why didn't the uncle drown, choke, stab, shoot his brains out or just bash the kids skull in?

I'll tell you why, because beheading is the killing of choice in the Muslim culture, that's why.

This is in my opinion the worst of the worst because you end your life in screaming in terror as the tip of the knife enters your neck, the screams turn to gurgle as your wind pipe gets slit, you feel it cutting through like leather and you continue to drown in your own blood no longer able to scream, then you feel as the knife begins to slice across the cartilage that separates the vertebrae, a twist of wrist and it's apart.
Uncle Al Whacki slices through the cerebral cord and you no longer feel any pain, the horror is finally over, or so you think, until your head plops to the ground and the last thing you see before you finally die is your headless and lifeless body shacking in the aftershocks of a voilent death.

I would say that anyone who does not believe in second amendment rights is not a liberal.

While there may be crazy who want to kill all Muslims, it doesn't mean that everyone who criticizes Muslim culture thinks this way.

We are a peace loving people in the Western world, mostly we try to do what is right. But of course, we also have our share of radicals.
