They have already bent, manipulated, and warped the constitution to the point where instituting martial law would take only a sneeze...

Now... remember, they are NOT going to use the word martial law, they are not going to force this on the public... We are going to beg for it!

Just think about the parents with college kids, they would be grateful to have armed guards at the doors preventing psycho kids from busting in a shooting everybody... Think about business men that fly everyday, they would be grateful to have armed guards make sure their planes won't be taken over or bombed...

It is going to get to the point where very few of "US" are actually going to see this as a bad thing! Once it goes into effect... Then everybody will see how bad of a thing... this really is!

I've just read that article at exopolitics site that you provided. You know what they say - "it's not news when a dog bites a man, but when a man bites a dog".

Those conclusions from the meeting (if it indeed took place) are the most hilarious thing I have read recently. Especially these parts:

The reported results of the UN meetings indicate agreement was reached for an international strategy to more seriously study the UFO phenomenon in a manner that maintains present levels of social stability. This raises the possibility that those presenting information on UFOs/extraterrestrial life deemed to threaten national stability or financial systems, would receive special attention by national security agencies. The meetings results suggest that an official change in government policy from 'debunking' to 'openness' concerning UFO's would lead to official approval to narrowly define study of the UFO phenomenon. However, those claiming to have first hand experience of extraterrestrial life would be targeted as charlatans. The UN meeting thereby suggested continuation of policies aimed at exploiting divisions in the UFO community between researchers advocating a strictly scientific study of the UFO phenomenon, and those wishing to discuss testimonies/documentation concerning extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.

On both days, the subject of UFO's was discussed, for no more than an hour and a half, as one of the causes of social upheaval of a country, due to the high probability of economic recession resulting from the speeches of 'contactees', charlatans, religious [figures], some scientists and prophecies.

This is the best joke I have read recently. It goes along with a frog dissecting a student of medicine.

Those in the meeting either have absolutely no understanding of the subject (the very same practices they are proposing have led them here, and will doom them all, together), or are just playing ignorant fools for the public.

"Maintain social stability... financial systems", "special attention by national security agencies"...

Translated, all of that nonsense reads as "Leave us our control over our people, and we don't care what you do." Is that some kind of proposal for extraterrestrials? A bargaining? Attempt at raising the price?

And this: "economic recession resulting from the speeches of 'contactees', charlatans, religious [figures], some scientists and prophecies".

They don't need aliens for economic recession, as I've already explained in one of previous posts. It will happen, aliens or no aliens. But... "Hey I've got an idea! If we can blame it on aliens, no one will blame it on us!"

As I've already said it here (www.abovetopsecret.com...), "The rats are starting to panic in their little rat holes (albeit, very, very slowly, but let's give them some more time)." Unfortunately, they haven't learned anything in the meantime.

Well, at least something has hit their nerve, and they started paying attention to their own fates. But, that's also the problem... for you see, they only look after themselves, and they seem to be willing (even eager) to bargain with anyone interested in (presumably) saving them.

Sorry, guys...

There is no one out there to babysit you. You're on your own now. Even those supporting you till now have abandoned you. They are not ready to pay the price. They know too well what it will be. And for a good reason, too (that little chicken story linked on that other thread explains it all).

No weaseling out of this one. It's payback time.

IMO, Bush is NOT going to declare ML even though I against him and his politics. What we can all be assured of is that a lot of what we do is not monitored. As for the guy with alien in his handle, "they" already know your hiding place from when you user their internets to research. Go get a Rand McNaly of old school and find another one. This board although being owned by a private company of no connections to any government agency is a huge source of civilian intelligence. What we post here though filled with hoaxes, personal beliefs, conspiracies, sitings, experiences, stories, observations and confessions is of high importance to the study of a people and what it takes to influence the choices we make. It takes anywhere from minutes to years to change the mood, posture, work ethic or beliefs of a people but it has and will be done. One thing is for sure, we are about survival in all nations of the world. If an alien race started building space ladders we would certainly attempt to fix the space wall. "I want first print of that book if someone writes it!". We all seem to look for a hidden meaning in everything we see and hear. It's in our nature. There is no doubt that plans are in place to cover a lot of scenarios but will they work. "All plans of mice and men oft go ary" Steinbeck.
What I see as the real control which is more effective than martial law is mind control.
Corporations are doing it to gain market share.
Governments are using fear to control citizens.
Churches do it to control beliefs even though we can read it for ourselves in the "Holy Texts".

We can make a decision to hide from them or confront them but we must choose wisely. As a total of societies, we all influence one another. If we choose to move towards peace someone else may move towards war. If we all turned off the TVs and started reading we would see a drastic change. Not to pick on TV but just as a powerful presence it is, it makes that much of a difference. I've observe the change in one person who use to listen to Rush Limbaugh all day but now only for a few minutes. This changed the way he thinks and reacts. Media plays the strongest influence on all of our lives. We do have an advantage of all who came before use. Ancestors relied on word of mouth and news papers or telegraph. For the time is was great but along the way the stories changes as they went down the line but not so much with news print. With the internet we could get it from the direct source. The problem is now we face the added chaos of repeater sites, blogs and misguided news sites. A large group of sites are politically driven and coercive. Others are just blogs copying info from other sites but rewording the text. We have a much tougher job on our hands then those of yesterday in that we have exponentially higher sources of info. I fear the control is already installed on the internet but you can't see it. We use to have a paper system with limited resources. We now have vast numbers of servers allowing those in control to create vast clouds to obscure the view. What tactics do they use to influence the political system to to their advantage and not need ML to carry it out. ML would just stall the economic engine which they need at full steam to carry out the missions. Productivity depends on the mood of the people. Look back at the mid to late 90s and the productivity levels until the political coerciveness started playing on peoples minds. The US economy did not faulter from 911 as they want you to believe of the election of GWB as I want to think but from the Fear mongering that went on. They creates more distrust in the electoral system, government, CIA, military etc by creating the chaos of BS that arose. The arrival of the internet as a media center opened the door to one of the biggest outlets of unfiltered garbage we have ever seen. I do respect and back free speech but what we see a lot of now is pure BS or entertainment. Please exclude blogs and these threads as most of what we are doing is our personal expression. I enjoy reading what many have to say here even if I don't believe it or agree. My emphasis is on PAC sites and BS News as well as corporate filtered news. How much of the coercive control will we continue to tolerate.

On closing the control of the next generation born after 1990 is already in place. They have already accepted the rules that they learned about in early childhood. Those of you over 40 remember the drills in school hiding under your desk from "The Bomb". That alone instilled a fear in us of invasion and coming warfare. We now have several venues from Video games to TV shows that are setting the next stage for the changes. Us older gens will be opposed but with dwindling power to stop it. We may not be forced into chip implants but will the next geners accept it. Read up on anything you hear. I keep hearing that certain restaurants stock rats and dogs in the freezer. One incident sparked a bunk of rumors that for the most part are false. I still eat at one of them and all I say is "make sure that Chihuahua is cooked well before you serve it". Read and Research, it's the only way to stay with it.

Intelligent theory, but it wouldn't explain the Government's plan to have Kellog and Co build concentration camps in every state of the US.

I'm in liaison with Nick Pope over here in the UK, to find out if, when and how the UK Government will respond to the documentation issued as a result of the secret UN Meeting in New York two weeks ago.

[edit on 1-3-2008 by Myrdyn]

I have reviewed the article you posted(finally) and some merit may apply to it, however(skepticism coming)I'm wondering if you are aware Brown&Root was bought out recentl by Kellog and it was my understanding Halliburton was no longer directly tied to KBR. This is what was relayed to me through upper management on some jobs that we were contrcted under them for. That' right I admitted it I have worked for subcontractors of this company on Petroleum based Pipe jobs.

The most important rebuttal I have for you is I was also involved in a project here in Texas, building a prison, although I wasn't on the project directly, the county is currently using this prison and it is full of our local and State prisoners.
I think you are confusing "detention camps" for locally built,(and staffed) prisons plain and simple. Don't get me wrong there may have been Homeland Security involvement, but to what extent? I don't think that much. My Uncle is the director(very locally) of our county Homeland Security division, and guess what?.........It's the biggest joke I've ever seen. I wouldn't trust these guys to watch my house for a night, they'd probably sleep the whole time. They consist of overweight, retirees from local plants and stuff, I've met alot of them and they couldn't plan to mow their grass much less detain the population for any length of time.

Also ther are misleading facts in that article that make me question their validityhere's one thing and if you want to know the rest ask me later cause I'm runnin' out of space

Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), “Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies,” gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to “a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order.”

This provision was only enacted in response to the Hurricane Katrina instance,it is only for riot type situations, the state in need has to request it and it is currently being debated as to limitation in congress every day the president just vetoed the bill which would have repealed it and replaced it and is going to be given a different version of it soon.
Beside this act,and for these reasons only Martial Law was outlawed without congressional approval alond time ago I also touched on this during my last extremely long post in this thread.

As for U.F.O.'s causing martial law to be enacted or whatever reason the other article was presented I don't buy it, because:
Having seen UFO activity myself I will not argue their existance, I have seen an instance and cannot deny their existance, However(skepticism) I believe not all the sightings are in fact alien I believe most sightings are govt. related activity and they love it when you make excuses for them and confuse people to what it was they actually saw.
This secret meeting maybe was to find new ways to cover up joint effort black ops type military crap and it's real easy to make it look to conspiracy theorists as UFO activity. Most theorists here are easiliy distracted by the word UFO, like a kid in a candy store. They could be uncovering the most violent, disturbing conspiracy in govt. and someone will mention UFO and everybody follows suit like the kids in the candy store! I've said UFO so many times already someone out there probably has a woody!?

Dude, I was looking into these school shootings, as to whether or not any of these kids may have been brainwashed into it or compromised by govt., but I was distracted by all the articles posted. I'm still looking let me know if you find something! I wonder if the parents would have to be in on it!? They seem to be the leads to follow.
I still believe there's a better chance of Jet Li being called on for martial law than our military? Some Kung-fu anti- terrorist league?

This is just some food for thought, what if, just saying, what if this website and it's moderaters are really the ones keeping up with who is on to the goverment? Sooner or later all of us who are watching the world's events unfold and feel that something is just not right, so we come to sites like this, only this is THE TOP SITE. And they don't want no BS on here, they want you to be straight, cause they don't have time to filter through crap to find out who is on to them.......nah, I'm just being paranoid.

I am glad...

I wish some of the people that were interested in the thread and agreed with the possibility of it's topic being a reality would have joined in on some ideas of self-defence/preperation... That was kind of the intent

All and all though, I am extremely pleased with how this thread has turned out... I am glad it is your favorite!

I agree the parents could be good leads to follow... Although it would be difficult to get an interview... (emotional topic) although I don't think they would be "involved"... My guess is that they would (if asked the right questions) maybe remember some weird "stuff" going on leading up to the deaths...

Nobody probably probed the parents to determine if the kids had been in contact with strange numbers, or stopped hanging out with there usual friends, attending strange meetings, making extra money... etc...

Some possible things the government would do to get the to listen to them... Maybe new clothes, fancy cars, cell phones, new laptops, etc...

This is the kind of "stuff" I think we could potentially get out of them... I think if we pretend to be creating a documentary we could probably talk to the parents, friends of the kids, employers, etc... Who knows what we might uncover...

BTW... if you reply to this post in an interested manor, you may have to watch over your own shoulder? Some people may not want us "sniffing" around...

You may be more "on to something" than you realize...

First of all I know some "people" that have made some "claims" and had there account "closed" or "disactivated"... This is a free speech forum, why close their account because they choose not to prove they work for an organization that would/could have them fired/arrested for admitting? FREE SPEECH!

Second... it WOULD make total sense for the government (if not directly involved) to pay very close attention to certain "thread topics" on this forum... Honestly, that is not farfetched at all!

edit: Why pay 650,000+ dollars for a focus group to see what people say about the government under a controlled and unrealistic environment when we tell them everyday for free? funny, but true!
At the very least... They probably have software running 24/7 on this and other forums looking for key words like; bomb, assasinate, martial law... etc...

Hi uncle Sam, how's life treating you?

Love that last line! I am not sure if I was being serious or not about what I said, when I first came here, I only read. I read for a year at least before joining. I don't mean I read every day or anything like that, just occasional surfing and coming to this site. I don't know why, buy I was reluctant to register. Most topics intrigued me, finally one hit home, I figured that this forum would be perfect for a topic that most people would call you crazy if you believed, so I signed up as a member to discuss that particular subject. I felt ridiculed by most of the posters, even the moderater. I see a pattern, when you are discussing anything paranaormal or spiritual, ghostly or things of this nature, you are met with much, for a lack of a better word, 'poo-pooing'. Those threads are short lived. If you are discussing subject of terrorism, political, NWO, things of that nature, you are encouraged quickly by even the moderaters to debate, expose, surmise, guess, ect. That popped in my head when I was reading this thread.

Well... We are totally off subject to what my thread is actually about, so after this... please u2u me about anything else (non related)... However if you like to talk about paranormal, you came to the right guy!

I am a paranormal investigator, check out my profile if you get a chance... if you create a topic about anything paranormal u2u me and let me know! I will be happy to come chat/debate about such! (I do agree though, those threads usually don't do as well, but check out my thread on Psychic Vampires (self-created ghosts) you might like it!

What do you think about THIS thread? agree... disagree? plausible? What are you thoughts my dear friend?

That's what I like to hear! So what do you think?

Option 1,2, or 3?
1. gov. directly involved with ATS
2. gov. indirectly but very interested in ATS
3. gov. runs a sniffing device on ATS looking for keywords?
or I guess
4. non of the above... gov. could care less cause they think we are all a bunch of paranoid delusional freaks and nobody will listen to us... lol

i am thinking option 4. i dont think the government cares what we think, they believe themselves to be superior and we cannot function with them. after all how many americans would really take up arms in martial law. maybe 10 percent, more or less.

So you don't think they would be even slightly interested in catching ratical minds conspiring against "them" before they get a chance to gain momentum and power?

I think they are very interested in what "we" have to think... Probably more so than the rest of america! "we" pay attention, "we" create plans of action, we conspire and unite our intellect into elaborate plans... We matter more than I think you give us credit for...

While the rest of America is picking out what color table cloths they are going to buy at bed, bath, and beyond... we actually debate and contemplate everything that is going on in America!

If they are willing to pay 650,000 dollars to see if 16 people feel safe against a terrorist attack... They would pay attention to a website with 100,000's of members who activily communicate and converse about all topics of interest to them!

Come on...

I have no doubt that the Government Monitors this site... Perhaps they are waiting for something or someone to surface... or maybe this is how they find people to off... or perhaps on.. (own)

But keep in mind the Government is large so it would only be certain people watching this site... NSA, CIA, FBI, and other anonymous organizations that keep things in check.

As far as Marshall law is concerned... You are not going to get any the truth or right anwsers Sparda, I think the Government is pretty good at keeping its mouth shut on some things. I would stop trying to find the article that proves you 100% correct because i can tell thats what you are looking for. Even if someone argues a debate you come up on top... of course since you are the OP... Like i said before though keep an open mind. Marshall Law is inevitable... the economy and the people just keep getting worse and worse... it always ends in civil war... not to mention all the drug uses frying their brains... trying to be a contrubitor to our society. Sure Mr. Druglord I will Buy your drugs which support the transport of your illegal arms, and they support the frying of brains ! YESSIR!

I mean come on. This thread is pretty much dead unless you start compiling all the evidence put it onto 1 Presentable Post... and then you will not only get the anwsers you are looking for... but clues to other things like the unknown. The things most people already know... jsut dont think they know. Such as... Marshall Law... in some way shape or form will happen. The Question is... why will they do it ... who will be taken... will there be mass murders... will there be only intervention... what is it? Is this about Terror, Global Physiology (Climate etc), or is this about Population Control and offing the speds and drug abusers.... who knows?

Well I do agree that I "may" not ever find the answers that I am seeking... but it isn't necessarily the answers that I find pleasure in…

It is the pursuit of knowledge that keeps me going!

Try to tell all of those that seek the truth about Area 51 or the alien crash in Roswell that they will not ever find the answers that they seek… See if they discontinue their pursuit for knowledge… 

As far as me always coming out on top… That’s not because I am the OP it is because it is in my nature… It is how I think, it is how I learn… It’s not that I think I am always right (although I am, just kidding) it is how I learn… If you don’t ask questions or challenge the way people think or the conclusions they come to, than you never learn new things!

I don’t think this thread is over… I enjoy everything everybody is talking about! If everybody else thinks this thread is over though… than I guess it is 

What i find interesting about this is not the idea that governments seek more and more power, but the attitudes of some people.I especialy enjoy the "it can't happen here" these folks seem to apply the following logic..it didn't happen yesterday so it won't happen today,it didn't happen today so it won't happen tomorrow...brilliant...then you have those who say that the powers that be would have to do this or that or make it look this or that way...these people do not seem to understand raw power, the government doesn't have to do anything, they have the power and you do as you are told or die, that simple! I suspect a lifetime spent in a polite orderly society leads one to beleive that raw power concerns itself with procedure and protocol....it does not ! This could or could not happen but if does or does not i doubt it will be for any of the reasons that most people come up with.
