in response to the OPs original post, i got to thinking about what kind of power aside from ETs could our government be prepping us for.

i thought about sophisticated AI.

if you think about it, it ties into the vast info gathering and data mining that our government and corporations are undertaking, especially in regards to the warrantless surveilance. I imagine it is possible that they are developing a database of info and statistical data to develop highly advanced algorithms for a super computer of "god like" intelligence. I would also imagine that someone quite nefarious would really like to use this computer to control people.

This is just a theory of what might be going on and it is all just speculation but if you think about it does it seem logical?

BTW i really liked the post made by italkyoulisten on 2-22. I found it insightful.

That is a great website, Quasi. It mentioned some things of which I was not even aware.

It's also nice that they were not promoting any type of religious bias but simply refuting the information of Zeitgeist.

I've just seen the movie. It was an eye opener.I've reviewed many of the facts , noted to be true.My opinion is there should be more informative documentaries like these broadcasted. Why are people so engrossed in plugging into non educational sitcoms, advertising media and so called news programs which focus on trivia. I realise the value of entertainment but the balance seems to favour fools. I believe in keeping an open mind, for someone a lot wiser than me once said "in the beginners mind there are many possibilities, in the experts there are few".

Well, I guess that was the end of your article? You never made your point about how zietgiest helps the NWO. Pure Apathy is what the NWO wants the people to feel and maybe zietgeist helps with that but you have to know the truth in in order to deal with it. So what if there are some misfacts, what is the reason for those? You don't make the points you start out with. Lets just ignore religions, for now. Although i was raised as a Christian and was a strong one until I saw Zeitgeist, and I believe that now my mind is free. However religion is not THE ENEMY it is a tool, which can be ignored while we deal with the real enemy. We may then comeback to the little petty differences and argue about it but until then it matters not what your creed is, but where your loyalty lies, hopefully with mankind

This piece of propaganda is formulated using the exact specifications used in mind control films. Shock and awe. Shock people with outright lies disguised as the ever elusive truth we've all been searching for and then awe us with already known truths. This movie's sole purpose is to put us against organized religion (esp Christianity). Most propaganda films are much more subtle, but this film is geared to those that aren't as easily brainwashed, therefore it tries to be more "matter-of fact"-ly.

They don't have a problem ending Christianity because the big players within the churches will jump ship when the time comes. It's not that they don't embrace Christianity. They are aware of the truths in all religion as well as the falacies. It's just that they don't care what you believe. Just as long as you are never able to put the puzzle together. Just as long as you get confused and scared enough to believe what they tell you to believe. That's all they care about. Keeping you asleep.

I've seen peter joseph on plenty of interviews, he is not working for the NWO, He has probably woken more people up than Alex jones. There is has been plenty of "evolution vs creationism" debate in the past, and zeitgeist just threw in some additional info about religion that was "the icing on the cake". Religion has been throughout history, a horrible and vial thing. But the christians are no longer the "enemy". Theres a class war going on, a disinformation war, not a religious one. So if you are christian, fine, do whatever makes you happy, but please don't post moronic disinfo like this because YOU are helping the new world order. They want us to fight, keep that in mind.

It is interesting how Athiests get so angry over Christianity, so many of their posts just absolutely drip with hate. Christians don't get angry at Athiesm, it just makes us feel feel sorry for those who have been been caught in the snare.

And yeah this thread really makes a lot of sense. I can put that hate in a whole new perspective after reading this, what do they call it... "order out of chaos" I think.

Instead of considering what the Zeitgeist Movement is all about, the mind filters it to fit the narrow confines of some belief system or paranoia.

Thus, the meaning is meaningless except for the part to be attacked. This is not thinking 'outside the box'.

I suggest you look at the Zeitgeist Addendum video instead of the movie. It does not particularly mention religion so maybe you can hear a little info without filtering it. It does show people dropping their religion however, and maybe you won't be able to get beyond that.

I think this thread brings up an interesting issue, which is whether Christianity prevents individuals from thinking for themselves.

According to the Bible, there are actually many passages that support this view. E.g. Romans 13:1 claims, "Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God." This therefore means that a Christian must obey the government.

I think there are 'Christians' who 'get it' and there are 'christians' who don't.

I love the stuff ascribed to Jesus directly, written down as in his own words, even if they aren't his words or if he didn't exist and someone just wrote the bible to get out good stuff. Dunno. but what is ascribed to him is really good info.

On the other hand, the dogma of 'christianity' is so totally the opposite of what Jesus taught, it's hard to see any relationship at all.

If all who called themselves 'christians' actually did the teachings of Jesus, there would be no war, no poverty, and very little crime. But they follow dogmas and argue about irrelevant crap. They even worship the bible, thinking they are worshiping god by doing so. They don't even know the difference.

I love the real 'Christians', and I'm disappointed with the Dogma worshipers.
